Super 8 by Wyndham St Charles

Great staff member checked me in. Thanked me for choosing this hotel. Breakfast was perfect for my needs! No noise, I slept so well!

Continental breakfast was fair. hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable.

Didn’t try breakfast. Room was a disaster. Plastered holes in the wall, filthy everywhere. The only thing that was cleaned was the bedding. Controls on air conditioner were broken. It was so dirty that even the light fixtures and hair dryer were yellow.

Nice big room. Such a comfortable kingsize bed. Breakfast was modest but all I need.

Positive we’re definitely friendly staff. Everything was clean. The bed was super comfortable! Quiet hotel. Lots of parking available. I gave it four stars for several reasons. When I came in to check in there was a line it was 3 PM. Nobody was at the counter. The staff member came up and was kind of rude to the guy waiting and said there’s a doorbell there for you to push so I know you guys are standing here… But given the point that is check-in time you would think she would be more attentive to the front desk. However, the way she spoke to every customer during the process she was very sweet besides the initial impression. The hallway had a funky smell to it, but the room was just fine. The temperature was perfect. I didn’t even bother looking for a thermostat. Did I mention the bed was super comfortable! Being a traveler by myself, I did not feel unsafe for one moment. Breakfast was OK… You had your choice of cereal a Texas claw or biscuits and gravy. I was honestly hoping for waffles. Even in the breakfast area, the staff was checking in on everything to make sure nothing was ever running low and if it was, they immediately filled it again exceptionally clean! I would definitely recommend. Yes it’s a little dated but for the price point, it is great.
