Had a wonderful 1 night stay, shame we couldn’t stay longer. Room was gorgeous, great decor, cleanliness and amenities - including some great little touches. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Lovely setting and v good parking too. A big thankyou.

This place is pure magic. We had the best room in the house, the Poirot suite. Cafe & breakfast service was excellent. Highly recommend!

The perfect location for me as I was walking the Thames Path. Beautiful historic inn and village. I’d like to come back, with my wife next time!

Welcoming and attentive from arrival to departure. The toiletries provided were so nice. The food was scrumptious. The bed was really comfortable. We had the accessible room which had a ramp up to the door and the bathroom was a wet room. If you are a wheelchair user or find steps difficult its worth checking how accessible the restaurant is as there were a number of steps in different areas to go from the outside to the bar on to the restaurant.

lovely and comfortable hotel. friendly staff. Nice beer. very accommodating. Chefs should blanch their veg in the afternoon and then finish during service, not boil veg during service because the whole dining room smells as a result.
