Great location, smooth check in & someone always answered quickly when I had questions. The room was very comfortable & had all the extras (iron, fridge, air conditioning) I needed.

This was a great hostel! Entry was quick easy, finding the room was easy. Nice to have a sink in the room. Never saw anyone during our one night stay and the bathrooms were easily accessible and very clean. Parking wasn’t an issue since we got in late and left early so there was plenty of on-street space available.

The room was comfortable and kitchen was clean! This place is surrounded by many restaurants and shops; everything with walking distance. Natalia the staff was so nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Ideally located within the Fremont restaurant area. Bathroom is shared but clean. A common kitchen is a plus.

A great little modernized hostel just outside of Seattle. Check in is all automated and I was there during the week, so it was a ghost town. Moreover, I scored a full room and two bunk beds for the same price as a scummy motel even further out from the downtown core. The cleaning staff kindly helped me in when I didn’t check-in protocol just yet. The facilities were thoroughly cleaned and the bathrooms were single use and also cleaned. All good stuff here!

Fortunately, person happened to be present and was able to put me in contact with the right person. The location is excellent. It’s in a great neighborhood that has lots of my life interesting a little fight. Make sure you visit the free much for a block and a half away and the center of the universe to block in a different direction. Just a few places to visit on a walk into her. The room was clean, if oddly decorated… Very dark walls and lockers from end school. Great facility for cooking your own meals. other guests were very friendly.

We liked the autonomy of the coded entry, and having a full kitchen available, and large luxurious bathrooms, even though they weren’t attached to our room. The building had the vibe of a dormitory in a fancy private school, and reminded us of some of the McMenamins we have stayed at. Floor is a little bit squeaky, which is to be expected in such an old building. It would be very difficult for anybody with mobility issues to stay here. But the neighborhood is very quirky and fun, and the bed was very, very comfortable.

Great hostel style property in Seattle. East to get bus transit downtown. You can find nearby parking if you are good at looking for it. Easy check-in. Make sure you connect early with them if you can't receive texts. The confirmation booking says they will email you info but that is a lie, they send the info through text message. Was a challenge to get them to send to my What's app, but on the check in day we finally received the information. Could do better communication with guests. Very slow to respond on Expedia app (days). And when they did, the information was ignored. They never sent me the information as they promised. I had to ask again and again the day of check in. Lost stars on cleanliness. Property did not do a thorough job cleaning under the bed. Found some pills, dirty crumbs, an old receipt and a vape under the bed when we went to fix the bed slats because the mattress was sinking. Good Hostel style, easy if you have a US number, poor cleaning attention to detail under bed. Slow communication but everything went smoothly with a bunch of patience on my end.

The hotel itself is tidy, quiet, and charming; however, I wish I had had a better experience with the staff. There was no one working thoughout our entire stay, except for the cleaning staff. This made check-in quite difficult, and we were told several times that the cleaning staff "didn't know what to do with us." We also waited outside the front door for about 20 minutes before being let in, as guests have to be buzzed in and no one would answer either the buzzer or the phone when we called. Despite the confusion, the cleaning staff genuinely tried their best to help, but they were clearly out of their depth. Due to the lack of communication, I would hesitate to reccomend this location to fellow travellers.

I really enjoy the hostel experience, it’s lovely to have access to a communal kitchen and the bathroom they were very nice. Additionally, there were extra towels, and blankets at the front desk, which was extremely accessible to guests. The only thing worth noting would be that the Thai place downstairs is very busy and can be loud, there were also earplugs at the front desk, which I definitely used to fall asleep! Silent after 10 pm 😀

Great location! Nice design, would be great to have an outdoor patio or rooftop. Bathroom door upgrade (they get stuck) and wet towel bin would be a huge improvement to this property! Carpet had a big spot in my room, clean??? Bed was comfy. Could not figure out how to use bedside lamps (1 no plug but other no way to turn on?)

The room was small but clean. Common bathrooms and showers were also clean. You can text the personnel and they get back to you quite fast.

Property was great for a few nights’ stay; went to visit a few friends in the Seattle area we were able to easily slip in/out of the hostel. Both the restrooms and kitchen communal areas were more than well kept, offering clean, sanitary spaces for all guests to feel at home. Great access to the local neighborhoods and districts.

The bedrooms were not that clean. The bathrooms are spotless. Location was excellent.

Kind of odd, in a good way, to have no staff and just a code to get into the place and to the room …first time with tiffs system and everything was pretty nice. A thoughtful touch how somebody puts apples and oranges and bananas in the kitchen. only minor details that I was not happy about was the very weak shower water pressure, and after my airpods case fell under the bed. Apparently there was make up down there even though I couldn’t see it cause I got fine make up all over my AirPods case, very hard to remove… more vacuuming under the beds would be helpful. Overall pretty clean and nice place, I’ll certainly come back when I can …and bring my own bar soap for the shower.

My husband and I were very happy with all accomodations and the staff were all very helpful. I appreciate the availability of a full kitchen. Bathrooms were immaculate and the area surrounding the establishment was fun and safe. We'll stay again.

Walls are painted black, but you could still see finger prints and grease stains on walls, not very well lit, room did not look clean ( bed was made but stains on sheets, and trash visible on carpet) with he black walls and limited light it was hard to see, but what was visible was not attractive. No way to control heat in private room. The bathrooms had bath mats in them, but not excess mats, previously used bath mats available. For the price it wasn’t horrible but you get what you pay for

Came to do an alpine mountaineering course on mt. Baker. Awesome place to stay. Area was really nice. Clean room. Shared bathrooms were super clean. Overall great stay.

Clean shared bathrooms. Kitchen for use. Nice entry. A little dark feeling. Room felt like a prison cell but area was nice, felt safe and you can't beat the price.

Super easy check in! Nice neighborhood with coffee steps away and food all around it. Bed was SO comfy and the sheets were cleaner than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They smelled nice and the pillows were nice and fluffy and they actually give you 4. Windows open for fresh air!!! Little noisy because it is on a Main Street but a great place to stay for a no frills experience.

Small cramped room. Dark. No closet. Not even a single hook or towel rack. I was solo soil used the second bed ASA catch all for items. Nothing convenient about it except the semi reasonable price. No staff on site but they were responsive via text. Place just felt.... neglected with no investment. The tables wobbled, chairs were decades old, worn and dirty. Just.... an overall unpleasant place.

Funky yet cozy. Some music coming from the restaurant below but stopped at 10pm. Room needs better lighting, had ugly overhead light and the other lights were more like candles. No way to read with those lights. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The bed was big and comfortable. The room was nice but a bit dark. The window shades were broken but there were also curtains which did work. The area is fun and lots of cool shops and restaurants. Id stay here again.

Cool neighbourhood, cool old building, furnished nicely with solid (soundproof) doors, comfortable beds, and interesting decor. Unfortunately, although the provided air conditioners work wonderfully for making the rooms cool, they do not hide the slightly musty smell of what I assume is the original old brick wall. If you are sensitive to scents this may not be the place for you. That being said, my partner is allergic to mold and he didn’t have any reactions. It’s clean and comfortable. The air conditioner also helped drown out the noise of the karaoke at the nearby dumpling place. ;P

Clean, not as quiet as my last stay. I prefer a room towards the back of the facility. Booming music from below, groups of people conversing loudly on the street outside of an establishment directly below my room, and traffic noise contributed to a less than perfect sleep. The room was clean, but dimly lit. Other than a somewhat noisy room, the stay was good value. Will request a different room next time.

Me and my partner stayed in a private room with 2 twin beds. Everything was very organized and clean although, the beds were uncomfortable and my boyfriend got a splinter on his foot because he was walking around without shoes on. Wear shoes everywhere & do some extra stretching while staying here and you won't have any problems! The shared kitchen is so awesome and the location of this place is just perfect!

Was an interesting hostel. Location was good and aesthetic was cool and quirky. Generally was pretty clean as well. But never saw anyone at the front desk or working there, basically checked ourselves in via a text. Booked a private room that mentioned it had a private bathroom on Expedia which was not the case (there are no private bathrooms in rooms at this hostel). And the air conditioner in the room did not work and only stayed on fan mode so was a hot and sticky stay. Overall, one of the most expensive hostels I’ve stayed in and so not worth all the money.

I've stayed at this property many times. This is the first ive been in and out without having to talk to anyone at the front desk. In fact, i never saw anyone there the whole stay.

The room had an unfamiliar smell. It wasn't unpleasant but it was a shock upon first entry. The passcode provided at check-in did not work. I had to contact the staff via phone call late at night. Prompt response and action, but still inconvenient. The water was cutoff by the city overnight. Woke up to no water. Property provided bottles of water and room a couple of kms away as a remedy.

They sent me the info on how to access my room at the day of the trip through SMS. I only had data (no SMS), so I didn't get the info. Luckily my friend (different room) could call reception and have the information SMSed to her. The way the lock works is weird and I was afraid of someone getting into my room constantly. The room was beside one of the bathrooms so someone half asleep could have easily mistaken my door with the bathroom. The room is also full of stickers and it looks like a teenagers bedroom that was left behind 20 years ago. It’s clean, but there were cardboards left behind the cupboard that clearly were not supposed to be there. I get it, it’s kind of a hostel but for 200 CAD a night I was expecting more. Bathrooms are clean - and safe. Locks can be trusted. I didn’t use the kitchen but it was also clean. There were no safes in the bedroom - another opportunity for improvement. Public transportation options around are good. Nice Thai restaurants around the hotel as well.

Check in took over 3 hours. Sitting on two luggage on the street really sucked. I got a email about check in one day before. I was traveling with no Internet to answer.

They forgot to give us our entry code, but overall our stay has been quiet and comfortable once we were able to get inside.

I was traveling with 2 teens and needed a place to stay for one night (three people total). I reserved a room with a king bed after I called to double check why it was listed on Expedia for 3 people. I spoke with someone who said that he would note that I needed an additional rollaway bed for the 3rd person and it would be no problem to fit in the room. Ok, great. The check in is all contactless--you get door codes and room codes via text. When we arrived to the room, it was a tiny room with two single beds. I messaged and called several times over the course of two hours asking for a room switch as there was nowhere for one of us to sleep. No answer. Finally I looked up the place online and called a different number and got someone who said she would have someone contact me. We got another text 15min later saying they would switch our room but we needed to wait another hour. By now it was 8pm. We got a knock at the door and a kind person who was rooming there said that she would fix up the room they were moving us to because it was dirty. By 9pm we were handed a pack of clorox wipes and told it was "good enough". She did change the sheets and give us clean towels, which I was grateful for after a long day of travel and this mixup. The floor was gross--there were toenail clippings--and the furniture is ratty (the chairs are all ripped--it's clearly a well used hostel, nothing more). I wiped down the bathroom with the clorox wipes and called it a night.

We stayed on a Friday night. It is right on the main street of Freemont, & of course it has a night life. So not the quietest... But a unique place to stay for a reasonable amount.

Clean, close to several restaurants, neighborhood supermarket, and on bus-line.

Parking was hard to find. Room was good and close to a lot of places

We rode the train from the airport to downtown and then took the city bus to within a block of the hotel. The hotel is not luxurious but very comfy and safe.

Really enjoyable experience! The Fremont area where the property is located is really funky and you can walk to the Gasworks park on Lake Union very easily, or hop on a bus downtown a few blocks from the hotel. Only slight issue was finding parking on a busy weekend. Eventually found a paid surface lot and moved my vehicle for free street parking on Sunday.

Great location in Fremont neighborhood- the heart of the universe

A great place in the heart of a great area! Simple and easy check in, right in the center of Fremont, fridges and sinks in the room, community kitchen, 6 Thai restaurants within 2 blocks and so many other food options - AND One of the first "Barcades" is right down the street - Add a Ball

We loved the locked rooms and the location! The Kin Len restaurant right next door is amazing!! Just came from thailand so really authentic and good!! Loved our stay!!

10/10 spot. I stayed here for two nights during my first trip to Seattle and I will definitely be staying here anytime I come back. It's next to the best Thai spot in the city (Kin Len) and accommodations were amazing for the price. I appreciated how quiet the place was and the free water bottles in the kitchen are a great plus.
