It is a charming place. The staff are friendly. We just happened to be celebrating a birthday and didn’t realize that there was going to be a wedding that evening which closed the bar for 2.5 hours and even though we were on the 8th floor, the reception party on the 3rd floor could be heard when we were going to bed.

The stay was only for 1 night, but the experience was outstanding. Staff were polite, entertaining, and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean. The Valet parking was extremely overpriced at $65USD and offsite, but there is an overnight lot next door for $25USD.

Nice property with old world charm. The Polar Bar was wonderful but closed for a couple of hours on New Year’s Eve for a wedding party. This was quite inconvenient for hotel guests as the hotel only has one bar. The bedrooms had lots of character. The bed was comfortable and it was a nice touch to have a French press coffee jug. Room was cold and no matter what we changed on the heating, it blew cold air.

The Arctic Club is a beautiful hotel with a lot of History. The rooms were gorgeous, the bathrooms were more luxurious than I’ve seen other high end hotels. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. One downfall is there is no parking. You either pay $65 for valet PER NIGHT, or find street parking or a lot to park in. Hotel stays are expensive enough, so why the charge to valet is so much is beyond me. It was nice to be able to walk to anything downtown, the water front, Pike Place market, etc.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Seattle with lovely staff and delicious food. The interior design is immaculate and I loved the touches like the walrus in the room! The gym was great too with a peloton machine. Loved breakfast- special thanks to Jason for making me an omelette since as a a vegetarian my options were limited.

Convenient location to the waterfront and Pioneer Square for tours. The underground parking transportation station is directly across the street. The block next to the hotel has a constant homeless population and the police and firefighters visit on calls several times a day. We live in a downtown neighborhood in another city so we’re used to it. Others may be uncomfortable. The lobby bar is top notch and so is the decor and service. Highly recommend this place.

Our stay was exceptional. Staff was super friendly, room and lobby/bar area was very cozy and clean. We also used the fitness room which was spacious and had peloton bikes! Breakfast was great too.

What a great find! We stayed here for a short leg of a longer trip and were not disappointed. The building has been lovingly restored and while it feels like a step back in time, it has all the modern conveniences. The rooms are cozy and inviting, and the staff is simply wonderful. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and while we didn't get a chance to enjoy the evening drinks and canapes, everyone present seemed to be having a great time. Please note, there is virtually no reasonable parking in the immediate area, so be prepared to pay for valet parking during your stay! Would happily stay here again if we return to Seattle.

Very nice hotel. It’s a very old hotel but they have taken measures to make it more luxurious. Nice touches with the plush carpet, brilliant blue hotel doors, marble floors, arctic themed decor and display of top hats. My one complaint is there was fecal matter on the wall paper t the toilet. Housekeeping had missed that and it detracted from the overall experience.

We were only there a very short amount of time - 12 hrs or so - so any criticism may be unfair. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Lobby area and elevators could have been a little cleaner. But again, we were there very briefly and that was just a moment in time.

Overall, this was a great hotel! We loved the theming of the hotel and decorations in our room. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. We were able to walk to many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, we did not feel very safe walking around the hotel due to homelessness. There were two things that kept us from giving five starts. First, we did not get any housekeeping service. We received a text saying that our room would be serviced between 9 and 4 on our second day of stay. However, our room wasn't serviced. Second, pannel screens in the lobby had penguins on them, even though there are no penguins in the Arctic. Considering the rich history of the Arctic Club, it was a bit embarrassing and disappointing to see the penguin screens.

The front desk staff were very helpful and responded quickly to our request for a replacement hair dryer. The Polar Bar staff were likewise responsive and notified us when our to go order was ready. The room itself was very clean as well.

Surprised by the high reviews. While the bed was comfortable, that was about the only really nice thing. Breakfast was meh. I woke up to the sprinkler in my room spraying water everywhere. The hotel itself felt very dingey. Bar staff was nice but not very attentive and did not know how to make a martini. It smelled old and like mildew.

Beautiful historical hotel. Really enjoyed the photographs and background on the building. Friendly and professional check-in . Fantastic breakfast. Only downside is the windows aren’t very soundproof and the outside noise on our floor (7th) prevented sleep. But overall a super nice hotel and great staff.

Nice 1 night stay. The bed was very comfortable. I wished the lights were a little brighter though. Staff (Caitlin) was very sweet and friendly ! Do remember you are in the city and you will hear traffic at night ( if your room is on the road side). It is unfortunate that the opposite lot is vacant and has been used for a garbage dump ( no fault of this hotel).

The first room I was given was hot and the AC did not seem to work. The AC was louder than the buses on the street. I was given a second room at the lobby/street level, it was very noisy but the AC worked fine. Great location for using the light rail to get alroud downtown. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is adorable. The room was pretty small. I stayed with my family of 4. The bathtub would not drain. When you took a shower, it filled up and it was disgusting. There was also not a lock on the door to the bathroom. We stayed in room 800.

Excellent historic hotel in a great location, easy access to highway, close to everything in downtown Seattle - ballparks, int’l district, new waterfront park, Pikes Marketplace, etc. Hotel staff is so lovely, the Polar Bar was great and our room was fantastic! We splurged on a top floor king corner room #1021. The balcony isn’t for sitting, but standing and taking in the mountain view was nice. We loved our spacious and quiet room, sitting area, large windows, big bathroom and jetted tub. Breakfast is included and is served in a restaurant on the first floor buffet-style. (Note - the hotel entrance is on Cherry Street, not 3rd.) This is a place we’ll come back to whenever we’re in Seattle.

There is a lot to like about this hotel- character, fantastic bar, good b’fast, fascinating history, and a closer location to the sports stadiums than most hotels. But i was really put off by my check in experience and a front desk clerk with a a lot of attitude and a chip on his shoulder. I had emailed in advance about requesting a quiet room (I’m a very light sleeper), and if possible an e (very soft ask). The response I got was they’d try to accommodate both. When i arrived, I was told there is a $25 charge for early checkin which wasn’t mentioned until then. Annoying. And the room is either available or it isn’t- what’s the justification for the undisclosed $25 fee? I paid the fee and asked for a quiet room. The room I was given was literarily on top of the elevator waiting area. I went right back down to the front desk to see if there was an alternative room available. The same clerk told me that room and elevator are not noisy (untrue) and said he had another room further from the elevator but it wouldn’t be more quiet. Then he said “And that’s it, you aren’t moving again.” I found the experience extremely off putting and frankly weird. The hotel is in need of updating. It’s dark and dreary and the rooms are not as large or nice as they appear on the website. I come to Seattle often and have some high character hotels I love (the Kimptons, the Mayflower, the Edgewater) and will go back to those but maybe get a drink at the fantastic Arctic Club bar.

Ilana was especially welcoming and friendly, had a small issue and she immediately went above and beyond to assist. Will be staying here every time we come to Seattle.

On July 26 Had confirmed reservation by Hotels.com & Arctic Club Hotel at day of arrival. Room booked 8 months prior at a “very good” rate. Upon arrival inexperience clerk could not find reservation, then advised the reservation was cancelled by Expedia. I asked when & why reservation was cancelled, she was very dismissive, with no explanation. When I requested a manager she exclaimed that what you get for using a “3rd party provider”. After a long wait a manger finally appeared and tried to assist us, after reviewing reservation she was very apologetic. She advised she would try to find us a room . After waiting approx. 3 hours they could not find a room in the city. To their benefit they did provide drinks & dinner at hotel while waiting. We ended up taking an Uber 20 miles away to Kent, WA to motel who charged us a higher rate than our reserved room. We had to cancel our evening plans and take an Uber an extra 20 miles to Cruise Ship.

The staff really makes this place stand out! Very pleasant and calm even though they might be crazy busy. The location really worked out for us. We walked to baseball stadium to cheer the visiting team. We walked to space needle and pikes place. The breakfast options were very good too. The room size was just right; the bed and pillows comfy. The robes were a welcoming surprise. The valet parking fee might be considered to be pricey but we were prepared. We were just happy to find a property that offered parking. After 3 days we were off to explore other cities!

Fantastic stay at the Arctic Club! I've always wanted to stay here and it completely lived up to my expectations. Very attentive staff, beautiful accommodations, building and decor. Loved the corner King room. We found a nearby, indoor parking lot for a much better overnight rate compared to the valet-only overnight option offered by the hotel. We were able to easily walk to Pioneer Square and the Smith Tower. Located just across the street from Link Light Rail, too. Loved staying here and will certainly be back!

A classic hotel, with the feel of the early 1900s, yet with modern conveniences. Great breakfast buffet. Nice bar, and restaurant. 300’ from the Pioneer Square Light Rail station, buses on 3rd street stop 300’. Walking distance to many restaurants. 1/2 block to the Sky View Observatory, 3 bocks to Smith Tower.

We stayed at the Arctic Club for a couple nights to attend sporting events. It was about a mile down to Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park, so we could walk to the games. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. The room was nice, very comfortable and the breakfast was great!

The hotel itself was fine, nice, clean, and had friendly staff. The area is rough, and I do not recommend staying in this area with children. There are a lot of homeless people and drug addicts, and getting to the light rail means wading through some unsafe areas.

The buffet breakfast was limited but very good. Sadly only until 9 am for week days isn't user friendly. The drinks at the lounge were good, the dinner was ok but it'll a LOUNGE not a dinning room so the tables are small with no condiments without asking. Also, the waiting staff doesn't have a "retreated" little area to drop the dirty stuff and it was extremely noisy. Absolutely nothing up to the standard they want to offer. In contrast, the staff cleaning in the breakfast area were quiet... The whole hotel was very clean.

The place great service all around food was amazing we just shared a hamburger bc we were going to a football game. I think it was one of the best burger we've had in a long time. it was cheaper to drink the liquor in the room then to go out and drink from the bar.$50 for two mimosas

From the moment we left the light rail station and walked across the street to the Arctic Club it was a great and comfortable stay. We traveled to Seattle for a Mariners game. The Polar Bar at the Arctic Club had friendly bartenders and very attentive servers making sure everyone seated around the room was taken care of. The property was very clean, both the shared spaces and our room. We were upgraded to the 10th floor and had a door outside to a small balcony. The bed and bedding was comfy and the bathroom was spacious with a jetted bathtub. Breakfast was included with our stay and the fresh fruit and hot food was all excellent. All of the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. We were able to walk across the street to public transit, light rail and buses. We’ll definitely be back for another stay, next time longer than just one night.

As a former resident of Seattle, I was so excited to return to the city for a Mariners game and a day of exploring downtown. The Arctic Club was the perfect home base. Coming from the airport via light rail could not have been simpler - the stop is a half block from the hotel. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, the lobby was warm and historic, and the room felt like a true home away from home. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious. I look forward to returning!

Only complaint the restaurant staff was very unorganized. It was super busy after the football game ended and they were not prepared. It took an hour to get a drink that we had to reorder a few times and we ordered two burgers and only one arrived
