Property could use some improvements and updates. The gym was in pretty rough shape and small. The fuse blew one morning so all machines were out of order for the day. Breakfast was good, people were extremely nice, however the air conditioning could not keep up with the heat - I understand it’s an older building but it was too hot to get a good sleep. Also if you’re facing the road, it’s very noisy. The rooms could be more soundproof. Pool was small and there aren’t many places to sit or lounge. Was very crowded. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but it wasn’t a bad experience!

Nice stay in a decent spot. Very walkable area (and metro is not too far away). Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Really nice that the pool and gym is accessible even after checkout if you have a late departure. The layout of the room didn’t really make any sense (the bathroom sink was outside the actual bathroom and the light switch for the bathroom/above the sink was hidden behind the TV), but it was clean and comfortable and the bed was pretty big for a single. The pool was a huge plus in the heat, however, it feels like they don’t have enough proper sun loungers for the amount of guests. People would frequently come up and walk around trying to find a spot. Enjoyed the free pilates class. It was a bit tough outside in the heat, but it was in the shade.

Spend Christmas week here and totally loved it! The location is amazing, the price for the room was reasonable, and the amenities (cafe, restaurant, gym, etc.) were great! I would definitely stay here again!

I had a great stay at the social hub, it's a very friendly environment, good option for breakfast and for a quick bite. A nice terrace bar on the 4th floor. The environment is comfortable and relaxed. The staff at reception and café were great. I will stay again next time I go to Madrid.

TSH is a really cool space. Rooms are small and had a bit of a weird smell (drainage maybe?) and shower was very weak. However communal areas were excellent, wifi strong, great location and amazing staff. Food and drinks were also top notch. Rooms were the only thing that let it down!

The room was very small. I didn’t like the wash basin was separate from shower and toilet. Room was opp Palace but couldn’t see a thing and very noisy road. TV didn’t cater for English and was boring as travelling on my own for a week on one hotel with no TV or news. Cleaner did not clean properly and never refilled toilet paper. Had to ring reception to get toilet paper.

The floor is carpet and the room smelled funky. The pool is on the filthy side. The staff are quite rude, which is unusual for Madrid. Overall nice amenities for the price. Good location. Bed comfort totally fine.

Väldigt fint, fräscht och rent. Vi fick dock rummen mot en vältrafikerad gata och trafiken hördes rätt tydligt in i rummet. Extremt hårda sängar, men det funkade iom flera kuddar som fanns tillgängliga. Supertrevlig personal, bra läge. Bra mat och rimliga priser i baren.

Nybyggt hotell och coworkingställe. Rummen rena och fräscha, men lite knasig layout, med handfat i rummet i stället för badrummet. Och otyget med dåligt ljudisolerade skjutdörrar till toaletten måste väl nya hotell sluta med. Obekväma sängar och billiga bäddtextilier. Rummet går inte att få helt mörkt, och ventilationssystemet är väl inte 100%. Kallt blir det, men varmt igen på natten. Belysningen inte heller nåt vidare. Ett skrivbord som man inte alls kan sitta att jobba vid. Inga sittmöbler. Rummet ändå ganska stort för ett storstadshotell. På det hela, helt och rent hotell som ser bra ut på bild, men för den här pengen bör viktiga detaljer riktade på bra sömn vara på topp.

It all started well but ended up with two nights of bad sleep and a lot of frustration. The staff are friendly and mean we’ll but they are very junior and not trained enough for the tasks expected. Breakfast was good by the way but only the basic coffee machine was available as the really good machine was used bu the staff only 😂 My room was good size but badly designed and worse of all super dry and really could not sleep because of that. Pillows were a nightmare too. The next day they had to change my room because the door lock was not working anymore and put me in the top level room which was even worse. Shoddy construction for a brand new build, either too cold or too warm, dangling bits everywhere; this entire place is a good concept badly executed. Shame overall as the location is great. Could have been a cool and hipster vibe place but it’s mainly full of hot air of disappointment. Not staying here again

The Social Hub Madrid was one of the best hotels I have stayed at!! The staff truly made this holiday for us!! But the room was amazing! From the layout to the amenities, to the view of the palace! Even the AC was great as we like to sleep cold. Our actual check-in was wonderful, the staff is so willing to accommodate guests anyway possible and with a smile (rare in Madrid we found!) We arrived at 5am and they were able to hold our bags while we went exploring and then fed us sweets and coffee to assist keeping us awake until our room was ready!! The cafe staff were so sweet and did their absolute best to assist the English speaking customers! The coffee and snacks were delicious!! The rooftop bar was a huge perk! Great cocktail menu and again the staff were incredible and sweet! The vibe is chill on one side and uptempo fun on the other! Unfortunately, we never made it to the pool deck! The location of the hotel was very convenient if you are visiting the palace! It is a bit of a walk from all the other main attractions (for example: plaza del Sol, plaza Mayor, Grand Via/Theater/shopping district, etc). But all these are just a quick Uber/bolt/cabify away if you prefer. There are multiple bus lines that have stops right in front of the hotel and there is a large train station just one block down (principe pio). We will try to stay in as many of the social hubs around the world after this stay!

This is a perfect location to explore Madrid, close to everything but also just out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist area in Sol and Plaza Mayor. the Hotel itself clean, has a great coffee shop and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

The social hub was a perfect base to explore Madrid. It is near the palace and close to two metro stations. Our room on the ninth floor was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was also very quiet. the buffet breakfast was extensive and well worth the €12. The coffee shop was great for a quick coffee and pastry. We liked the roof top bar at the end of a long day of exploring and José was particularly welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. This is a cool and quirky place to stay, we loved it. Definitely would stay here again.
