It was very close to Atocha train station and El Prado museum. Kind of expensive considering there are no laundry facilities, kitchen or views and it was winter/ off season. Our room #116 was quite quiet though.

Incredibly clean, cute room and bathroom. Very courteous staff. Very convenient location and it is at walking distance to Atocha. The elevator was not working, so hauling luggage up two flights was not fun. Other than that it was an exceptional experience.

The property was as advertised...the staff were really friendly especially Rupert the doorman to the building. The bed was comfortable and the double glazing kept out noise so a good sleep every night. Excellent air conditioning. Shower hot and powerful. Wifi was good too. All boxes ticked

You Woukd think that the owners could: 1. Provide coffee cups. 2. Provide two extra pillows per bed. 3. Provide a usable sink. This one is ridiculous. 4. Provide a shelf or counter with the sink in the bathroom. 5. Provide a towel drying rack in the bathroom. A mini-fridge would be nice but too much I am sure.

We stayed here in Madrid for a few nights. It was definitely the smallest room we have stayed in. It felt a bit tight, however we did not pack the lightest and it is as advertised, we just weren’t used to it. We did not spend a lot of time in the room though so it was perfect and served its purpose. The staff was super friendly, the check in was very easy, room was very clean. it’s close to the train station , but not a ton to do in the area. We took early trains so it was a good spot for us. We were happy with the stay and the value , it met our expectations.

Contraté una habitación para pernoctar de 6 AM a 12h00 del día 28 de agosto de 2023. Me hicieron llegar las instrucciones para entrar al edificio y a la habitación. Llegué pasada las 07h00 y cuando ingresé al hostal finalmente, no me habían dejado la llave de la habitación. Es más, luego de tanto insistir por teléfono y whatsapp me dijeron que no sabían qué es lo que había pasado. Al final, luego de presentar mi protesta, ya que luego de 13 horas de viaje uno quiere descansar, llegaron cerca de las 09h00 y se pusieron recién a esa hora a limpiar y entregarme otra habitación, ya que la mía estaba efectivamente ocupada por otra persona. ES decir habían alquilado dos veces la misma habitación. Esto es realmente impresentable y nunca antes me había pasado. Espero que me devuelvan el dinero porque terminé entrando a mi habitación cerca de las 09h30 de la mañana.

More advance information on how to get to the front desk - in English - would have been a bit more helpful, although if you follow the step by step posted directions, you get there. This is a good budget option an easy walk from the train station (again, instructions on how to exit atocha station would have helped) and to the R. Sophia museum. Perfect for a one night stay accessing the airport by train.

All in all a very good experience. Close to the train station, and very walkable to center. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. English friendly. Comfortable bed! Small room, bathroom for sure and the shower was a bit finicky but not a deal breaker (super common when traveling) if you have a lot of bags you will be cramped. We didn't so all good.
