Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring

I wouldn't call it a hotel. It's more of a low-quality hostel. Small and very uncomfortable rooms, a shower like on an airplane, very small, old and not maintained. The rooms face the train, which is very noisy. The breakfast is really horrible. Everything is industrial and prepared in advance. Not recommended. There are many hotels in the area. Parking is very expensive. When there are lots of parking spaces in the nearby area for half the price

Staff and front desk where ok! The room was clean but had a light stingy smell. The breakfast was a bit 'poor' when it came to verity, but did the job

Staff were courteous. Bed and especially pillows were not comfortable. Pillow felt like I rested my head on a backpack full of books although I think they advertised that you could ask for different pillows. Window shade did not do a good job of blocking out light from train station. Room was clean. Overall I thought it was overpriced compared to what I paid for other hotels in Japan.

Outstanding stay, as always with the Onyado Nono chain. Breakfast was excellent with an great selection including some local specialties. Greatly appreciated the free "midnight ramen" and the onsen facilities.
