Wonderful stay! The location is perfect – close to the beach, restaurants and shops, yet very quiet and peaceful. The sea view from the balcony was absolutely amazing and one of the main reasons I chose Villa Irini. The garden is beautiful and creates a very relaxing atmosphere. As a solo traveller, I felt very comfortable and would happily stay here again. A couple of things to be aware of: there are quite a few cats around the property, and some of them may try to enter your room if the door is left open. Also, there is no obvious reception desk, so it is a good idea to contact the hosts in advance if you are arriving late or have any questions. Highly recommended!

Die Lage des Hotels mit der Aussicht auf das Meer und die Bucht ist grandios. Obwohl wir dem Besitzer bereits 2 Tage vor Ankunft mitgeteilt haben, dass wir erst um ca. 22.00 Uhr mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen kommen, war nur seine Mutter im Haus, die kein Wort englisch spricht. Sie hat den Besitzer angerufen und dieser hat uns mitgeteilt, dass es sein Fehler sei, dass das Hotel komplett besetzt sei. Im Nachbarhaus sei ein Zimmer für uns frei für diese 1. Nacht. Also schleppten wir unsere Koffer in der nächsten Hoteleinfahrt hoch und verbrachten unsere erste Nacht dort. Auf die Frage nach Frühstück sagte er am Telefon wir könnten das dann am nächsten Morgen regeln, Frühstück könne aber nur für Hoteleigene Gäste gebucht werden :-(. Unser Zimmer für 8 Nächte sollte am nächsten Morgen um 11 Uhr bezugsbereit sein. Als wir um 11 Uhr wieder im Hotel Irini eintrafen - das andere Zimmer mussten wir ja bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt freigeben - teilte man uns wieder telefonisch mit, dass die anderen Gäste noch nicht abgereist seien und das Zimmer dann zuerst geputzt werden müsse. Wir sollen um 13 Uhr nochmals kommen. Also gingen wir bereits zum 2. Mal an diesem Tag ins Dorf hinunter, um "die Zeit zu verbringen". Um 13 Uhr konnten wir dann endlich das Zimmer beziehen, die Badehose anziehen und unseren Urlaub beginnen. Von Frühstück wurde nie mehr etwas erwähnt, worauf wir uns selber organisierten.
