It was a nice hotel, however it was noisy. There is construction / renovation happening, so the sounds of concrete drills from 10AM each morning (some sort of upgrades project to stairways in the hotel it seems). As well, the walls are a bit thin, even in the renovated section of the hotel, it is easy to hear conversations of men in the room next door through the wall. Otherwise a nice hotel, service is excellent and it was very clean and nice, staff were great and friendly / very polite. The rooftop pool is nice too! Rating a 3 because of all the issues with noise (hopefully when the remainder of the hotel is renovated, soundproofing between rooms will be improved too)

Although the hotel lobby may look outdated the rooms are newly renovated and clean. We took full advantage of the rooftop outdoor pool to admire the goregous sunset. The breakfast buffet was very good also as there was a good selection of asian and western cuisine choices. The hotel is only 200m away from the beach. Highly recommended to stay here!

My trip was fairly pleasant, I stayed for a week and the bed was comfy, downstairs bar and rooftop bar with the pool also although I never went in the pool. Very close to centre and 24 hour shop just across the road which is handy.

Stayed here for 3 weeks in March. Absolutely enjoy this hotel. Third stay here. The facilities and staff are great and its in a good central location. Its currently in development and the final product will be exceptional. The new rooftop pool is very enjoyable.

Room was clean We had a newly refurbished room so it was immaculately clean. Saw some older rooms that were still clean but very dated. Went tonthe pool area once . Not big and only abfew sunbeds.

The staff are amazingly helpful and so friendly. The room is spacious and bathroom comfortable. The air conditioning is excellent just what you need in the humidity. The bed is comfortable and rooms are super clean. Everything you need to stay here and close to beach, shops, walking and taxis. Roof top pool is excellent for a swim and relaxing. On night arrival given dirty, mouldy room on the ground floor with a garden view of a tree and wall! Moved to 4th floor, smelt cleaner but wasn't. Dirty bed linen and towels, marks in bath, wobbly taps, mould painted over and univited guests, ants. Yes I know its a hot country but you do not want to woken up at 2am by ants in your bed. New swimming pool looks very swish, but is green with alge. The rainwater in the old leaking pool is cleaner. This is still causing issues with dampness throughout the hotel. They are building a new extention and the new part my be different when complete, Offered a suite on checkout but by then i had enough. I wouldnt book here again.

Lovely hotel, particularly the new part which we stayed in. Pool was also lovely, as were all of the staff. 5 minute walk to the beach. We had 3 double rooms, and some of the sheets appeared not to be as clean as we would have liked, as were some of the towels.

We were pleasantly surprised at the size and initial cleanliness of our room (238). Your renovations have improved the hotel immensely. Your staff were very courteous but many had difficulties understanding some of our requests. However, the constant noise from the above and adjacent rooms when chairs were dragged over the floors became very frustrating especially when people were checking in and out at all hours and when rooms were serviced by your staff. The cleanliness of the room is not maintained as there were marks on the sheets, we stayed 8 nights and the bed sheets were never changed. Areas around the taps and sink were not cleaned properly yet this was recently renovated. So those marks will deteriorate the condition of the great renovation you achieved. Your staff need more training in how to clean properly and checks be conducted by your supervisory staff to ensure the cleaning is done correctly. We accidentally broke a glass in the bathroom and were charged 60k rupiah for it. I didn't mind paying for it but the exorbitant amount was ridiculous.

This property was fine. Good location but a little dirty and outdated. Seems like they tried to make an old hotel look new with some paint, but didn’t actually make updates. We requested a room change and staff was accommodating.

Hotellet är under renovering, trevlig hjälpsam personal, bra läge. Takterassen känns mycket mindre än det som syns på bilderna vilket kan bero på att halva även är avstäng för renovering, men trevlig att njuta på några timmar före eller efter resa. Den renoverade delen känns lyxigare på alla sätt. Jag bodde i ett gammalt rum, fläckar på gardiner, dammiga golv, badrummet har hål och ingrott smuts och saker hänger löst. Undvik de gamla rummen! Frukosten är en buffe med relativt brett men skumt utbud. Ingen höjdare men ändå helt okej. Lokalerna är ganska slitna i allmänhet. Sunkig lobby med gamla soffor. Kommer säkert bli fint när alla utrymmen och rum är renoverade, men nu känns det som 90-tal. Ändå Helt Okej!

I was Hotels hopping during my week long vacation in Bali (Kuta), staying 1 night or 2 at comparable budget Hotels and I would say this is one of the better ones, conveniently located downtown Kuta which is walkable to evrything from shops to restaurants, though not newest, room is presentable at a very affordable price.

The hotel itself was pretty nice, being in a decent location, 5 minute drive (15-minute walk) away from Kuta center/ Beachwalk. The room was rather majestic, with a very spacious room/bathroom with all the necessary amenities. To relax during daytime, I went to the rooftop and just lay in the beautiful pool. There is onsite restaurant too, although I chose to eat few shops away for more variety. They also provide scooter/ tour services onsite, but I chose to get it from next door who was giving cheaper rate. Few of my concerns- one was smell of smoke in the lobby/ elevator, it wasn't very pleasant. And secondly, the neighborhood didn't have much. You need to take a Grab/ drive around to get to any point of interest. If you can drive a scooter, I'd say it is one of the highlights of being in Bali. The hotel itself was pretty nice, being in a decent location, 5 minute drive (15-minute walk) away from Kuta center/ Beachwalk. The room was rather majestic, with a very spacious room/bathroom with all the necessary amenities. To relax during daytime, I went to the rooftop and just lay in the beautiful pool. There is onsite restaurant too, although I chose to eat few shops away for more variety. They also provide scooter/ tour services onsite, but I chose to get it from next door who was giving cheaper rate. Few of my concerns- one was smell of smoke in the lobby/ elevator, it wasn't very pleasant. And secondly, the neighborhood didn't have much. You need to take a Grab/ drive around to get to any point of interest. If you can drive a scooter, I'd say it is one of the highlights of being in Bali. I'd also recommend to spend more time in Ubud than Kuta/ Seminyak.

The rooms are good as advertised. The Hotel is however showing signs of ageing especially in the bathrooms (our bath actually leaked on the last day we were there, however other things were rectified very quickly (like batteries in remote and leaky tap). Hotel is convenient and not on the main road so quieter. Has all the mod-cons you would expect. I would definitely stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised at the size and initial cleanliness of our room (238). Your renovations have improved the hotel immensely. Your staff were very courteous but many had difficulties understanding some of our requests. However, the constant noise from the above and adjacent rooms when chairs were dragged over the floors became very frustrating especially when people were checking in and out at all hours and when rooms were serviced by your staff. The cleanliness of the room is not maintained as there were marks on the sheets, we stayed 8 nights and the bed sheets were never changed. Areas around the taps and sink were not cleaned properly yet this was recently renovated. So those marks will deteriorate the condition of the great renovation you achieved. Your staff need more training in how to clean properly and checks be conducted by your supervisory staff to ensure the cleaning is done correctly. We accidentally broke a glass in the bathroom and were charged 60k rupiah for it. I didn't mind paying for it but the exorbitant amount was ridiculous.

I booked a stay at this hotel, but when I arrived, there was no one available to check me in. I had to knock on doors and ask other guests if they had a contact number for the reception. When the receptionist finally arrived, I was told all the rooms were occupied, and my booking was transferred to another hotel. I was informed that I'd have to move back to the original hotel the next night. I requested to cancel the second night and get a refund but haven't heard back yet. I ended up checking out early because other guests were complaining about the noise from birds in the morning. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Hotel having some renovations, so some inconvenience at times. The areas that have been renovated look absolutely amazing so look forward to seeing again maybe when renovations completed. Staff were fantastic , very respectful , friendly and professional towards myself and my Daughter. Access to hotel was compromised by the one way street it fronts and no taxis were prepared to go around the block when returning from main shopping strip along Kuta beachfront , so frequently having to walk last 100m-200m into oncoming pedestrian and vehicle traffic not always best outcome when returning from shopping and raining.

I was Hotels hopping during my week long vacation in Bali (Kuta), staying 1 night or 2 at comparable budget Hotels and I would say this is one of the better ones, conveniently located downtown Kuta which is walkable to evrything from shops to restaurants, though not newest, room is presentable at a very affordable price.

Although the hotel lobby may look outdated the rooms are newly renovated and clean. We took full advantage of the rooftop outdoor pool to admire the goregous sunset. The breakfast buffet was very good also as there was a good selection of asian and western cuisine choices. The hotel is only 200m away from the beach. Highly recommended to stay here!

My trip was fairly pleasant, I stayed for a week and the bed was comfy, downstairs bar and rooftop bar with the pool also although I never went in the pool. Very close to centre and 24 hour shop just across the road which is handy.

Hôtel très bien situé, proche du centre-ville et de la plage, ce qui permet de tout faire facilement à pied. Excellent rapport qualité/prix, l’établissement vaut vraiment le coup pour un court séjour. Nous y avons passé 2 nuits à notre arrivée avant de partir pour Ubud et nous avons été très satisfaits.

If you want a mid-priced hotel, in an are with restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, convenience stores and laundry services, the Royal Regantris should fit your needs.
