Inexpensive overnight stay. Free parking and good access to roads. Nice walks around area. Reception very helpful and small self catering area available. Local restaurants nearby.

Wonderful stay. The receptionist Katya was brilliant. Very informative regarding the hotel and surrounding area. Brilliant centralised location to visit Glasgow, Edinburgh and further afield. We went to the Kelpies for the sunrise and Ian on reception was brilliant. The hotel is room only but there is a great kitchen for cooking and loads of takeaways within the vicinity.

Parking was safe even if in an industrial area. Front desk was very nice and the room was large and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

I would not stay here again. The room had a few visible dead bugs like the space had not been used in a long time. The shower did not drain so you were standing ankle deep in your shower water.

Nice welcome at reception were able to check in earlier than stated on booking as room was ready. Advisd kitchen had fridge and microwave if we wished to use them. Room was very clean bathroom looked like had been refurbished lovely sized shower cubicle. Bath sheets and hand towels changed daily on our stay. Bed was a double but small we are used to king size but it was confortable. A little moise in mornings due to location on an industrial estate but an ideal spot for the short walk 6 minutes to the kelpies. Reception and house keeping staff were helpful and pleasant. Would use again if visiting this area.

The good bits: - amazing and friendly reception team, informative and helpful - mostly clean rooms and reception area - good bathroom space - one of the best budget hotel showers, great water pressure - despite being a very small double bed, it had a comfy mattress and 4 different The not so good bits: - industrial location isn't too bad, just a bit strange, but only vending machines and delivery options, or you need a car to get out and about - very small room and little space to move around in, challenging with both of us with mobility issues (non wheelchair) - small double bed (I think the smallest UK double bed size) - so much bright lights in the bedroom at night affected our sleep and comfort - corridor lights under the gap under the bedroom door, the bright green emergency light above the door that was also right beside the bed as the room was so small, the 2 white flashing fire alarm lights, all reflecting off of the TV that also had irs own red light, the bathroom white light under the bathroom door gap abd the bright lights from outside/the car park that lit up the eindow and blinds due to the being a 1-2 inch gap between the blind and the window/wall - a lot of noisy coming and going in other rooms, we were located on the ground floor - some extra care needed when cleaning, I'm not sure whether it was a nut shell or toe nail on the floor next to the bedside table, I chose not to investigate. Overall, £100+ per night was a lot for this budget hotel.

Perfect location for the Helix park in Falkirk. The stunning Kelpies within walking distance and a short drive to the Falkirk Wheel. The hotel is located on a business park and the nearest restaurant (which was excellent) is Cooks bar and restaurant about 20 minutes walk or a few minutes drive. The hotel is clean and modern, reception staff friendly and helpful. The only downside, the double bed is on the small side.

Basic but clean and roomy

Our shower didn’t fit the holder , one it was turned on the hose sprang off the wall as the pressure was to strong and the water temperature was to hot. Admittedly you could turn temperature down ,but the bathroom itself and accommodation was good. As a preference a slightly bigger bed would have been preferable, but comfy none the less. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful .

One of the better budget hotels. Rooms were spotless, beds quite firm and friendly staff. Decent, powerful shower. Not sure if this was intentional or not but one of the bathroom lights remained on at a lower intensity to provide a night light feature. Handy if you have small kids that need that reassurance. It has handy communal fridges and microwaves for guests to use. It is within walking distance of the Kelpies and the Falkirk Stadium. Dislikes. It is in the middle of an industrial estate. The surrounding roads are poor and the views from the windows were of industrial units. That said, we weren't paying for a good view. The smoke alarm had the brightest green LED in the world! No curtains, just roller blinds. These did not keep out all the daylight. All that said, it would be my preferred choice of hotel on flying visits.

The front desk ladies that we dealt with WERE AMAZING. I was near breakdown, ready to cry, and she talked me off the ledge. The location is super inconvenient unless you have a car. We ended up renting a car and it made a world of difference. The staff was so helpful and happy to help tho. The property was clean but it was loud AF and the bed was hard as rock. Light also came in everywhere and there was one in the bathroom that we couldn’t make go off so sleep mask was used and ear plugs.

The staff were all super friendly and amazing, especially Catja. I had to stay behind at the hotel due to Covid while my family went to Ireland. The staff made me feel taken care of during my stay. I am grateful for their hospitality

Premier Lodge is always my top choice when staying in the area for business. The rooms are consistently clean and well-appointed, and the reception staff provide first-class service. One small area for improvement - one of the spotlights that face the building has been flickering for months, which can be a bit distracting depending on the room location. Surely a quick fix! Otherwise, another excellent stay.

The room in itself was fine. But the service at the front was extremely poor and the worst we’ve ever experience. Came in late and was met by a very grumpy employee with an attitude behind the desk. Attempted to overcharge us and had no form for empathy or interest in being solution minded.

cannot praise the staff at this establishment enough they made our stay truly exeptional.

We stayed for 2 days. 1st day was fine. The lodge is within walking distance to the Kelpies. 2nd day was appalling. There were a dozen or so football fans drinking tins of lager in the foyer from 5 til gone 10pm which you had to negotiate everytime you went in or out. From 11pm the 2 rooms next to us (not football fans) played loud music, had kids slamming doors, people shouting and swearing, fighting at one point, and constantly walking up and down the corridor with one woman shouting and swearing asking why she was being "done for assault". Very intimidating and didnt feel safe. This carried on until 2.30am. The night porter was unable to control the situation although he tried. Turns out these were local residents of the hotel. There were other local residents at the hotel who appeared and were "up for it and happy to sort it" for us! They were dealt with by night porter who seemed to be on first name terms with all of them. We obtained a verbal apology from the staff (although not the manager who was never there). We received a phone later to say 1 night was being refunded which is was after a call to hotels.com. The lodge refused to refund both nights. I have to say staff were pleasant and apologetic and delivered on refund. Do not use this hotel. It has local residents who are there because they are a nuisance elsewhere. It is intimidating and noisy and in the middle of a run down industrial estate. It was, quite simply, the worst place i have ever stayed in.

Stayed here for one evening whilst at a concert. Can not fault the reception staff member, Katja. She was very helpful in giving us directions, calling a taxi and overall just very friendly. Security guard at night Ian was an absolute gem, he found our extra requests which we asked for (fan and extra pillow) and kept them for us coming back. Hotel smelt very clean and had everything we needed.

Firstly great price. There was a problem with the allocated room and I asked if it could possibly be changed to which I received grunts tuts and sighs, this was a Sunday night so the hotel was dead and in fact I was actually just requesting what I had booked. The guy was more interested in playing computer than service. I was given a key, no direction to room, anything about facilities. Now the hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate so that would have been helpful. Room was fine, there is a lift if required. Vending machine in the foyer and a table of leaflets for food delivery. As far as I am aware there is no food provision on site. Parking was ample. Quiet over night. Room was clean if it wasn't for the bad service on the way in this review would have been different. Now checkout was easy and the service then was amazing with 2 wonderful people chatting and engaging. They are the reason I rated 3 stars. Overall good price, clean and great parking

We arrived early, staff very helpful which included offering us a hot drink. Placing our luggage in our room and phoning to inform us when our room was ready. Suggestions for places to visit and were was a good place to eat. Even booked a table for our preferred time. No trouble with extra milk for tea. Great service…a great credit to Premier Lodge.

Lovely clean hotel, seems fairly newly built. Room was spotless. 15 minute walk to the Kelpies and 15 minute drive to the Wheel.

Good location for seeing The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel, but in quite an industrial area. It was a quiet area and the room was very clean and comfortable.

the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly and explained the property and local amenities. the rooms were spotless and there was a communal kitchenette that was a bonus. on a morning there is a snack van 200yards from the front door which was good food and price. It is a bit out but as a result it was very quiet and a very short walk down to The Kelpies. It is also smack bang next to the main motorway network and you do not here a thing. All four of us in separate rooms agreed we would stop here again

First impression tidy and clean outside. Receptionist Susan welcoming and friendly, lovely lady. Room was spotlessly clean, great shower! No food on site but you can take your own and use the staff kitchen. Or numerous takeaways or restaurants you can try.

This is an excellent location for kelpies. Ask receptionist for directions because there is a short cut. Nearest restaurant is McDonald’s which is about a 15 minute walk away. This stay is ideal for 1 night to break a long journey up.

Smart hotel with friendly, efficient staff, but lacking a restaurant or bar. Local facilities are a short drive away.

Close enough to centre of Edinburgh approx 30 minutes. Excellent value for money. No restaurant on site but McDonalds close by, plus on-site kitchen with microwave and toaster plus shared fridge. Also tea and coffee making facilities in room.

The Hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately there wasn't breakfast facilities (my fault for not checking properly). Overall really nice stay
