This was the best place on our highlands trip. If you are looking to get away to a remote estate that feels like home with a very friendly staff who try their best to make your trip the best, wonderful sitting room with fire and board games (or read a book) and a snooker room for the family to enjoy or walk around the grounds this is the place for you. We plan to return.

Greshornish House is absolutely adorable! The property is away from everything. Beautiful with garden and on the lake! The rooms are lovingly furnished and the fireplace room invites you to linger. The staff in the restaurant are also very friendly and the food is simply delicious.

We loved the large window on the loch!! The sheep were great and adorable! We didn't like the difficulty finding the place!! We also did not like the bathtub/shower! The tub is narrow and very slippery making it difficult to get in and out of. As Americans, we were clueless as to how the shower worked. Some basic directions on the shower would help. Also, a much better map and set of instructions as to how to find the location would go a long way!! Also, no mention was made of the working boatyard right next door to the boathouse. The fence did help.

Amazing estate. The location is so tranquil and so many sheep's around almost like sheep safari. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room is amazing and I have never seen a hotel room so clean before.

This hotel was amazing. The hotel was beautiful and clean. Staff were excellent and friendly. The restaurant was incredible. We ate two breakfasts and two suppers there. We also got packed lunches one day which were delicious. The grounds are beautiful. It was nice to walk around and see sheep, rabbits and pheasants roaming. I would highly recommended this hotel!

What an absolute beautiful and relaxing place to rest on head and enjoy Skye. The staff was friendly, the food was amazing, our room was clean and beautiful with views unlike anything we have seen. We spent four nights and could have spent more. Definitely worthy of a return stay.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The food was excellent. We stayed 4 nights and went on many adventures while on skye. We had a wonderful time!!

This hotel was such a gorgeous, quaint addition to our time in Scotland! It is a bit off-grid but so worth it. The staff were all warm and welcome, the property immaculate and beautiful, and the food from the restaurant was tasty. I would love to come stay here again! Perfect little spot :)

The location and visit was great, we didn't expect such a small room. My spouse didnt fit in the shower and the bed was too short. Maybe in one of the upgraded rooms they are bigger but we didnt know that. It was realy cold in the room as well but beautiful.

Great place for a relaxing stay. Quite remote, but adds to the charm. Lovely traditional room with great Scottish touches of tartan. Very good selection of teas and coffee and shortbread. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic, being Vegetarian I felt they put a great deal of effort in giving a tasty selection more varied than the usual stuff.

We absolutely loved the window overlooking the loch! It was so peaceful waking up to the view over the water in the morning. Though it initially seemed a bit secluded, it ended up being the perfect spot to explore Skye from!

Lovely secluded hotel. Rather expensive for rooms and dining but very good. No mushrooms on the Scottish breakfast. Very quiet and cosy public areas. Friendly staff. Only downside was the two mile single track drive (with passing places) which was severely pot-holed, borderline dangerous and definitely wouldn't want to drive it in the dark.

Quaint and relaxing. Such a beautiful place tucked away from everything else. Delicious restaurant on the property, available for dinner and breakfast. Beautifully appointed guest rooms. Only drawback was the 2 mile, one lane road from the main road to the hotel, that you may need to wait for a sheep or two to cross. Great find.

A gem of a Hotel at the edge of Skye! The property was elegant and charming, the grounds immaculate. The staff was friendly with lots of great advice on the local area, the dining was excellent and the option for take away lunches fit great with our daily exploration of Skye. We would stay here again next time in Skye!

Property was lovely. We especially loved chess by the fire and the snooker table. Family room had a fine view of the lawn and water. The ceilings are low, though, so mind your heads. Dining was hit or miss. The first day we had a delicious lamb roast and perfect salmon Benedicts. The next day we had old dry roast and burnt pancakes. Overall, a lovely experience but was a bit pricey for that kind of dining experience.
