It looked good to start with, then when I got to my room I realised that theres barley any phone signal and the WIFI didn't reach my room. This meant I spent my whole stay there with next to no signal. The breakfast was ok, not much of a selection on the continental side and when you have a full English the beans tasted not like beans and the toast was brought out 15 minutes before the breakfast.

Beautiful independent rural hotel surrounded by a lovely garden with flowers and vegetables in abundance . There were free roaming chickens, dogs and peacocks too. Our room was newly decorated and stunning. The bar area was very attractive and accommodated our dogs happily. All of the food was locally sourced and excellent . Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely revisit and recommend .

Lovely hotels and really good food. The rooms are very comfortable and well decorated, the gardens lovely and the outlook, over the village green, is very relaxing.

It's was a lovely hotel to stay in with beautiful scenery. Food was delicious however my TV aerial signal was intermittent and I couldn't get WiFi in my room.

Stayed overnight to visit relatives in nearby Fivehead. Wonderfull huge rooms and friendly staff and garden setting. Would have loved to stay a few more days.
