This property is unique and offers from coffee shop-Starbucks to nice restaurants. I didn’t even knew they have Kareoki nights and music nights . They also validate parking and should be a big plus as it has museums with never ending tours . I love the fact that you can stay at the Queen Mary and explore the entire ship on your own that takes about 3 hours . They also have a movie theater that shows the history of the movie theater. Wish their pools would be open but they aren’t . Something I also learn is that they also host events since they have different venues depending on the size of your even . Don’t know the prices but from experience they are very affordable. Make sure you stay at the Queen Mary and go to the deck outside to walk as it’s open 24 hours and enjoy the entire view of Long Beach .. Was probably one of the best experiences.

It was very clean and is walkable to the Carnival port. It not even a 10 minute walk. The restaurant at the hotel is EXCELLENT, the staff is very friendly. I will come back

Checked it off my bucket list. It was great to tour the ship and see all the things it had to offer. There was a fire scare that sent everyone off the ship and the FD came. All turned out ok.

Room nice and clean staff very friendly location very close to cruise ship parking food just okay room over priced for what you get distance to room from the lobby was really far and the rea was very busy and parking requires quite a walk so be prepared I was in pain just carrying my luggage to the room

Everything from Check in to Check out was better than expected. Ride to the Carnival port was a plus and saved dragging our luggage. EZ Check in / Check out - Very friendly and helpful personnel. Restaurant is good, just a bit pricy. Parking is getting tight this time of year due to Halloween set-up in parking lot.

From start to finsh, we had an amazing time on the Queen Mary! Checking in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and larger than expected. We really enjoyed the haunted 👻 tour and getting to see a few places we couldn't see on our own. We went to Chelsea's for dinner and had fantastic food and drinks! The checkout was easy and they allow you to stay aboard for a few hours after and will watch your luggage if you didn't have a car to put it in! Would stay here again, highly recommend!

Carpets are filthy. Don't wear bare feet or you will be sticky. The only thing good it's close to the cruise terminal. Very expensive overall for what you get.

The property gave the feel of being on a cruise without the risks. Some amenities in the rooms were inconvenient, such as the sink was very low. Also, there were areas in the rooms that were in need of dusting and cleaning.

The hotel was beautiful. You are truly staying at a museum. Wonderful to explore. The staff is helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious for being a cruise ship cabin. Storage galore. Unique lighting. The walls are thin but we did not find that to be a problem. Convenient parking but you pay extra.

We knew ahead of time that The Queen Mary was a historic ship and the rooms are originally designed. That being said the Cabin was dusty and the toilet seat was cracked and uncomfortable. We knew ahead that the room walls were thin but not expected it to be so thin. It was a memorable experience some positive and some negative, the service at the Promenade restaurant front desk was not limited in hospitality.

Always a great experience. The staff are all helpful and pleasantly welcoming. The room is so clean, from bedding to bathroom. This is our 5th visit and we will keep coming back.

Room was good. They did say the walls are thin and they weren’t kidding. Had to call front desk 3x on late night partying neighbors. WiFi is pretty much none. Staff was mostly rude and not helpful. Clam chowder was excellent

Room was clean, big, and ok. Kinda bummed I've stayed there so often and never had a refurbished room. Its kind of just a dated hotel room. There were some nice touches, like a post card and ear plugs. Note: We stayed during Dark Harbor and there is little to no soundproofing (something that was not needed during its sailing days, due to the engine) and they push the sound curfew to 1am. We were fine because we happy to see they are having popular events and want to keep supporting the preservation funding they would get. Also, the staff warned us and did offer to move us if the sound was too much, though options were limited. The restaurant was great, though the menu is limited. The staffing there was great.

The Queen Mary is a historic icon. Being in the staterooms almost made you feel like you were on her in her glory days as a Trans-Atlantic passenger liner. However, be aware of a few things before boarding. 1) 1) The walls are thin, so you can hear noises from other cabins. They did provide ear plugs though so that was nice. 2) The A/C is minimal. We had to get an additional floor fan from the front desk to blow air. Now, it's not "hot" in the rooms, but it's not "cold" either. My wife and I slept fine overnight with the fan. 3) The bathroom is small and at least in ours, the temperature control for the tub/shower was VERY delicate. Like, you could barely tap the knob and it went from warm to scalding, or warm to freezing. There was a very very narrow middle "happy" spot. 4) the onboard dining options are OK, but seemed a little pricey. 5) Get ready to pay an additional $30+ for overnight parking. Things we loved- 1) The look, the feel, the decorations on the ship. 2) The historical aspect of it all. 3) the staff were warm, welcoming, and kind. 4) the bed was very soft and the pillows were great. 5) The views from onboard and the observation bar were awesome. 6) It was great to be able to book an evening tour, and then just go back and crash in our state room. We would probably stay again, and maybe stay on the starboard side of the ship and look out across the water, rather than on the port side where we had a view of the parking lot out the porthole.

Great view, spacious room — but what truly makes this stay exceptional is the staff! Everyone here was incredible. They genuinely specialize in hospitality, which feels like a lost art in today’s world. The customer service went far beyond anything I expected or have experienced in recent years. Karla at the front desk gave me the best check-in ever — she went above and beyond, so friendly and pleasant! Every staff member in the café was also outstanding, providing the same warm and attentive service throughout my stay. You have an amazing team that deserves so much credit for making this such a fun and memorable visit.

I was disappointed during this stay. I’ve had great experiences in the past but I was embarrassed to have guests with me with time. The check in process was not very professional. The front desk personnel did not introduce themselves. I was provided complimentary champagne vouchers but was not told I had 2 prompt hours to utilize them so I was unable to redeem them when I looked into it 3 hours later. I called the front desk to ask for 3 throw blankets, I was sent 1 up. There was a fire alarm asking us to evacuate near midnight. There was no clear direction or communication but my party promptly evacuated. When I called to ask for a late check out due to us getting back into the room late due to the fire emergency, I was told to call back in the morning but most likely not as they’d be busy that following morning. Our 2 dining experiences were also not good. My mom had a long delay to receive the tea bags for her tea in one occasion. During dinner my husbands steak was overcooked and then undercooked but didn’t send it back the second time as he was just hungry at that point and the rest of our party was finishing up our dinner. The table next to us had the same concerns with their steak being sent back multiple times.

When we arrived they explained that it could be a little noisy but should be quiet after 10. People were screaming down the halls until 2:30 am doors slamming children left in a neighboring room unsupervised, tampering with adjoining door, at 11pm. I asked them to stop they did not, I called security no one came. The window in our room was missing the components to screw the port window closed it so the port holes remained open all night it was 50 degrees in my room. I've stayed several times and rent multiple rooms each time, I will not ever spend money here again.

The Queen Mary is a unique hotel experience and a great place to stay for a night. It is quite out the way and from Long Beach main area, so need car or Uber to get anywhere. A free shuttle into the main area would make it a place to stay for more than one night. We had dinner in the Promenade cafe and were very happy with the food and service there. We also really enjoyed exploring the ship, with its interesting exhibitions and information. Roons were comfortable and room temperature perfect.

We went for a music festival and the hotel was very close to the festival grounds. Location is good. We had great service as soon as we walked up to the ship. They immediately helped with our bags and front desk was friendly and helpful with questions I had. We made reservations at the restaurant Chelsea onboard the ship. The food was good. The bar on the same floor as the front desk had very nice and welcoming bartender that evening. The room was as to be expected on an old ship and was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows and sheets were soft. It was quite cozy. I would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay. We were on the port side of the ship. Rooms were comfortable and very spacious, was expecting a smaller room. Dinner in the restaurant was good. The flatbread in the bar was good as well. The history on this ship was great. Need to make another trip here as one day was not enough to see all we wanted to see.

Within walking distance of the Lomg Beach Convention Center. Rentable electric scooters are common as well. On boat dining options are great. Cocktails and Sunday brunch are FANTASTIC.

A historic 91 year old ship with many exhibts to see. The staff allowing us to leave our bags with the bellhop and explore the ship since we arrived late the previous day. We ate the next afternoon and the spinach artichoke was the best ever plus our prime rib sanfwich were excellent. My wife loved it because of the movie posiedon adventure used the boat for some of the movie scenes.

The room was ok, the service was not. It was a rainy day which is the reason we chose to stay at the queen Mary for convenience and enjoyment. We could not have dinner at either their fancy restaurant or the more casual, Chelsea. The first restaurant said it’s a 2-3 hour reservation wait time, and they recommended to go to a more causal one “Chelsea”.. when we got there, THEY said it was a 2 hour wait. I feel it should be a part of the accommodations to leave some tables reserved for hotel guests for our experience. We had to go out in the RAIN to find somewhere to eat. Then we were expecting some type of entertainment BESIDES a bar. Bring that we don’t drink alcohol, Nothing else was available. I don’t think we will suggest this to anyone.
