The Azerai La Residence Hue was a great option for a first time visitor to Hue. I had a room overlooking the Huong (Perfume) River and it offered a view of the Imperial City’s central bastion as well. It was located across the street from the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the high school he attended while his family lived in Hue. The hotel had amazing staff who were able to help with anything you might need. The restaurant was great and offered a river view as well. And they offered free bike rental, if you wanted to explore the city by scooter. It was great and it made my stay in Hue feel like home!

Room was great. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Well maintained property with a lot of charm. Excellent breakfast, and restaurant. Service is exceptional, especially Ms. Nguyet, customer service, Ms. Mơ, restaurant, Mr. Anh reception, and the very helpful woman (sorry, I forgot her name) from reception who helped us book train tickets and check on some scheduling changes at our next destination. My friend and I had an amazing stay at the Azerai. Everything was perfect. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff are so helpful and nice. My friend went to the spa and loved it (it’s pricey for Vietnam but he said it was worth it). There is a very nice pool and gym as well. I highly recommend staying at the Azerai!

Beautiful property in a great location overlooking the Perfume River. If I had one gripe it would be the lack of storage in the bedroom, aside from a small wardrobe with 5 coat hangers, there’s nothing. Aside from that it’s a gorgeous hotel in all aspects with a great pool area. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This property oversells itself as 5 star. It is more like 4 star. Rooms are small. We also booked two rooms with 2 queens for family. These rooms had two single beds not two queens. False advertising. Spa massage is excellent and food is good although can get boring if you stay many days. The view of the river is good but view is hindered by trees. The hotel could do a better job of using the outdoor area.

I have stayed in many international hotels over several decades. The staff here were outstanding and completely focussed on their residents. Nothing was too much trouble. Guest Relations was incredible. E mails from UK instantly responded to and travel arrangements made with accurate professionalism when we arrived. The food provided is also worth a mention. It was excellent and beautifully presented.

Every staff member showed genuine care and concern for their guests. Incredible hospitality all around. Each time we returned from being out and about, it felt like we were coming home. There is construction happening in front of the property and it is truly a shame, but the staff and amenities more than made up for this. Food was also excellent. Would recommend this place 100 times over to anyone visiting Hue. Spa services were also amazing. Thank you Nhi and Nao for your excellent care!

Hue is an amazing city not to be by missed in any trip to Vietnam. The Residence Azarai was truly exceptional. Beauty and comfort combined with h the best service we have ever had in any hotel in the world. Everybody was going out of its way to help, assist and make our stay truly exceptional : porganizing amazing tours, scheduling transportation and reserving on great restaurants. Two individuals were particularly helpful : Lam, the Rooms Manager and Moon, the Client service Manger. Nobody gets better than them in the hotel business !! Bravo !

We had a wonderful stay at the Azerai in Hue. The staff were courteous and helpful and arranged a couple of last minute tours for us around the area. The restaurant was lovely with a great selection of food (especially the desserts!), and the staff on the bar were especially kind and lovely during our stay. The room itself was comfortable and well equipped. The property is a little outside the hustle and hustle of Hue, it's about a 20 min walk along the riverside to the city centre or a short taxi ride. This was fine for us but could imagine some might want to be closer to the action. Overall we had a great stay and would stay again next time we visit Hue!
