Sempione Hotel Malpensa

Check-in and check-out was so easy, which was great after a long journey. The airport shuttle service was perfect. The guy came and picked us up right after we called the hotel, he helped us with our stuff and he was so nice. He was again waiting for us the next morning to take us back to the airport at the exact right time. Breakfast was very simple, filling enough to get you on with your day. I had an excellent night's sleep, the beds were very comfortable. They gave us a bunk bed for our 2 kids which was perfect. Overall, this was a great place to stay for a night close to the hotel!

Very nice hotel. Staff was accommodating. Shuttle service was excellent. There is not an elevator so be sure to get a room on the bottom floor if you have trouble with stairs.

The location is not far away from Malpensa Airport. So, in terms of the distance, it’s good. But there isn’t elevator in the hotel. So, it’s hard to carry all luggages to other floors. There isn’t flip-flops in the rooms. And the shower is so small. The door of the shower was broken so when you take shower, the floor gets wet. Except these, it’s an average place. Please read carefully the shuttle services. It’s only from 5 am to 11 pm.

cute little hotel. firm, but comfortable beds. pillows too big.Bathroom lighting minimal. good shower water pressure. Advise to request a room on non street side. Breakfast array options were very good. Loved free airport shuttle to MXP & safe free parking available. Train towards Milano short walk does the street. Pizza & Pasta in restaurant were delicious 😋 Highly recommend.

Bra hotell för att stanna en natt under genomresa. Välstädat och trevliga rum. Smidigt med parkering och lätt att ta sig till.

We enjoy staying at the hotel and if it is available we book there for our layover. Breakfast choices have improved but could get better in terms of options such as eggs and bacon. The rooms we choose are functional. Staff super friendly. Restaurant very good with reasonable prices. Shuttle bus service excellent and included in the price.

Ficamos nesse hotel porque chegamos à noite no aeroporto Malpensa e tínhamos um voo muito cedo no dia seguinte. A vantagem dele é ficar a 9 km do aeroporto e fornecer traslado gratuito de/para o aeroporto. Mas as instalações deixam muito a desejar. Limpeza deficiente, quarto barulhento, box do chuveiro minúsculo e sem elevador.

Excellent and reliable shuttle service to and from the airport with nearly zero waiting time. Nice breakfast. Very responsive front desk.

La struttura è carina, pulita ed il ristorante offre una buona proposta. Il personale è gentile e pro attivo. Unica grossa pecca è che non c’è l’ascensore, per cui se avete molte valigie e pesanti ve le dovete portare su e giù dalle scale.

No hay asensor y no hay nadie que te ayude a subir maletas. Llegue muy cansada y con dos niños y mi papá anciano y tuve que subir a la habitación 3 maletas de 50lbs nunca me dieron la opción de ayudarme. El cuarto tenía polvo y el baño olía a orine luego me di cuenta que antes lo habían usado y no habían bajado la válvula y el orine aún estaba allí, por lo que creo que antes de nosotros no limpiaron bien.

Airport shuttle was very convenient. Hotel was very clean and staff was very helpful.

I had an early flight, so spent my last night in Milan at the hotel. This worked perfectly—I was able to use the free shuttle to & from the airport. The staff was friendly & went out of their way to be helpful. The room was clean & beds were comfortable. Perfect for what I needed for the stay.

Great little hotel about 15 min away from MXP. Stayed in a 5-bed room on the top floor. 1 double bed and single when you enter the room and another 2 single beds in a room with a door. Small shower, especially if you're of a larger build. Low ceilings in some areas because the roof is sloped (watch your head!). Totally worth the cost for a simple hotel with a free airport shuttle (5am was the earliest departure) and yummy, affordable restaurant (pizza/pastas/etc).

We booked this room because we had a late arriving easyJet flight into Malpensa airport T2 and then had to get a train the next morning to Lake Garda from the nearby train station. The communication before arriving was fantastic, shuttle bus picked us up and took us to the hotel and there was an offer of a free return shuttle back to the airport the next day too. Breakfast was yummy and included in the room rate. The room was very clean however we were in room 1 on the ground floor and could hear the restaurant staff cleaning up at the end of their night as they chatted to each other. We could hear all the cars driving by which we can cope with but then at about 5:30 in the morning we could hear plastic wrapped linen being unloaded into the hallway just outside our room which woke us up. Then to top it all off (and I know the hotel can't stop inconsiderate guests) but the person in the next room had a family video call on speaker phone at 2:30am resulting in me having to bang on the wall as we could hear everything being said on the call as the walls aren't very well soundproofed. He then had another video call at 06:30 - in what world is this acceptable?! I wish I'd stayed at the Moxy directly outside T2 at Malpensa airport as that would have been much quieter with better soundproofing.

Air condition didn't work in the middle of August. Place was overall okay but had a terrible night

Noise from traffic and airplanes. Uncomfortable beds and worn out bathrrom.

They had a free airport shuttle and wonderful breakfast. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful . The room was small and we could not have windows open as planes flew directly over hotel even though it’s 15 minutes from airport, but we were only there one night so not a big issue for us

Extremely tiny shower! Small room; but, clean. Overall, adequate for price paid.

The shuttle service from Terminal 1 and to the Terminal the next day was great. The hotel is clean. Enough beds for a family of 5. We liked the food at the restaurant at a reasonable price. However, the ceiling is somewhat low (like Cape Cod shaped). I wonder how tall customers manage to sleep on the beds without bumping to the ceiling if they’re not careful. The shower area is also very narrow. Overall it was great for us.

The best part of this hotel is how close to the airport it is, and that it has parking on site. The staff was also nice and courteous, but that’s about it. It is a small place, next to a very busy street. The rooms are clean, but tiny, the AC is basically ancient and doesn’t work. Ours started making a horrible rattling noise at 4.00 in the AM. The breakfast is blah, except the coffee and the croissants and in the dining area it was close to 85degrees, no AC. We did not try the restaurant as we stayed one night only. One more plus, it has a shuttle to the airport but with a limited schedule. Hope this helps.

Fomos bem recebidos. O Hotel é simples mas confortável. Tem um bom restaurante e o atendimento é gentil e agradável. Café da manhã satisfatório. Única reclamação é o Box do chuveiro que é minúsculo.

We loved our stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were able to help us with a couple of peculiar needs. Highly recommend.

Very good value for money. The restaurant in the summer months is on a patio immediately downstairs, so that was very convenient. The shuttle service picked us up at a train station before our stay, and brought us to Malpensa at the end. Very kind people, excellent service. The room is basic and functional. The surrounding area is not very walkable or interesting.

The hotel advertised free transfer from the airport, but when I arrived I was told that the free transfer is not available in the evening.

We chose this hotel because it was close to MXP and we were flying out the following morning. The staff went out of their way to offer to let us drop off our rental car that night at the airport and pick my husband up there so we wouldn't have to deal with it in the morning. They then drove us all to the airport the next morning. They had a lovely little breakfast buffet in the morning as well. The staff were great!

Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. When I needed to leave for the airport earlier than breakfast time, they arranged a breakfast box for me that was ready in time for my shuttle

Our room was very clean and the staff was pleasant. The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The room was basic but good for the price. The airport shuttle driver was excellent. Our only trouble was in contacting the shuttle at the airport as we did not have cell service in Italy, we rely on WhatsApp.. It would be helpful for international travellers if the hotel was also on WhatsApp.

The hotel itself is excellent, and we loved their restaurant! Also the Airport shuttle is very helpful. But the town and surroundings are not that good, especially for a family. No sidewalks etc. Great place as a jumping point to MXP

This is a nice hotel with very friendly staff, but has a couple of major downsides. The short walk from the train station borders suicide. The plain from the airport take off right over the hotel. Extremely noisy. There is nowhere to walk to in the area and no sidewalks. Restaurant is pretty good with delicious pizza. They don’t have a menu in English and we got an eye roll when we asked. Shuttle to the airport was great.

Stayed here to be close to Malpensa airport for a flight the next day. It’s clean with friendly staff but the real standout is the restaurant that is attached. It’s really good, authentic Italian food without pretense. Free shuttle is another plus.

My room at the hotel was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. However the restaurant food and service was outstanding! I had pasta with fresh porcini and articokes which was delicious but the locally made chocolates and Portuguese brandy topped the meal off! Well done and Kudos to the restaurant team!

The restaurant food was great and very well-priced! The bathroom was a good size and clean. The room was nice and dark at night. I also liked the coffee machine in the breakfast area though it was a bit lacking in terms of a selection of food to choose from. Some of the food like the pancakes were cold as well. The beds could also use maybe another cover but maybe there was and I just didn't look. Overall, a pleasant stay!
