All of the staff members we met were very nice and helpful. They have a wonderful free hot breakfast. They also had 2 gas grills we could use while we were there! It was wonderful!

Donna was amazing. Super helpful. Disappointed that the pool was closed. It was in the 80's. Also new is a fee for parking. This is not a cheap hotel. It's a lot not a garage. Most guests were not happy about that. Otherwise great hotel stay.

Very nice property. Very clean, large dining area, and a great gym. The rooms The only downfall of this facility is you have to pay for parking per day. It was a pretty empty lot, so I am not sure as to why especially during the week days. Other than that it is an excellent place to stay.

Very nice, new and clean hotel. Loved the rooms - bathroom tile was nicer than mine. Shower was large and the shower head was actually adjustable and moved unlike so many other hotels. Across the street from U of Louisville stadium and near horse track and can walk to dinner. The gym was fantastic as far as equipment and size incl Life Fitness stack. Only issue was its a fishbowl - no tinted windows, window treatments, etc so people walking down hall can see you in their bouncing around like a nut. Very nice hotel, would definitely stay again.

We saw a stink bug on the wall when we first arrived. My reservation was for 5 and we only had 4 sets of towels in the room. Housekeeping entered our room prior to checkout time while we were still there. Guests shouldn't feel rushed when they are still within their paid time.

Our linens had dried up blood on them. We were locked out of our room due to the keypad battery being dead, and were locked out of our room for over an hour with our 11 month old child. The staff who was there after 10PM on Friday night was very rude and disrespectful about the situation.

Loud dogs barking. Cranky unhelpful staff. 50 people partying in the pool with coolers and speakers. Literally no towels in room…and none brought when called. Dirty shower, stinky beds and don’t get me started in the pullout couch-barf. Seriously don’t do it.

Our family of four enjoyed our first visit to Louisville with a three-night stay here. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the rooms are huge. The daily hot breakfast was great, but some items were not replenished as it got later to closing time. This would an ideal place to stay for anyone visiting the university or Churchill Downs. The view from some of the windows wasn’t the best (some industrial surroundings), but that wasn’t a big concern. Very comfortable beds and quiet!

My room, although spacious had problems. The heat didn't work and it was a cold night. The bathroom lights were miswired into another light switch. It took me a while to figure this out. The bathroom itself was tiny and awkward to maneuver in. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean but it wasn't a property that allowed walking to anywhere.

the big suite room with couch, chair, kitchen was so comfy, beds are also comfy. the breakfasts were great, had everything, in nice big dining room. Easy to get downtown in 10 minutes from there.

From my credit card statement, it looks like I was charged for 3 nights which was rung at the desk on my employers credit card so this reservation was charged twice. I’ve called 5 times over the past week and left 3 messages at length and no one will call back to straighten out the issue. I was told I ask for Ally, buy she won’t return a message or take my calls. Seems a bit of a corrupt way to do business

Very clean hotel and a great breakfast with many options. There was a tornado warning during our stay and Katherine at the front desk was very accommodating and kept everyone informed and directed guests to safety.

Jessica scicchitano was the manager of staff. She was able to provide an early check-in, even earlier than requested. Hotel is quiet, clean and perfect walking distance for bourbon and beyond festival. Tia was out shuttle driver also fantastic.

I didn’t get to stay. I made a reservation with Hotels.com, went to the hotel less than an hour later and was told they didn’t have a room to accommodate me. They called two other hotels and said they were also booked. No help in finding a place, no help in getting refunded the money I just spent on the room. No help period.

Had bad experience with the reception department. They seem unorganized for example they gave me a room that was already occupied, then move me to another room and then asked me to move to a third room. My stay was for two days after my first day I go back to my room and I couldn’t get in. The receptionist advised that they gave my room to somebody else. She advised that I have to wait for a supervisor in the meantime, she assigned my room to a new person while I was standing in front of her, and I advised her that my stuff still in the room.

This was a fantastic hotel! It is close to the airport, so you will hear planes regularly, but that didn’t bother us at all. The hotel was one of the nicest, cleanest one night stays I’ve ever had. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a really nice place right in between the university and the airport. Thankfully the plane noises were not too loud or bothersome during our stay. The breakfast was a good spread and tested really good. The staff was super nice as well, which made the whole stay a great experience.

Very nice property (new construction). The area is very industrial, but the location is excellent if you are interested in Louisville Cardinal football stadium (across street) and very close to Churchill Downs(1/4 mile). As is the case in areas like this, redevelopment has a way to go, but Homewood Suites is a good addition. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here to attend a football game at the L&N Stadium. Stadium is walkable from the hotel. Hotel is clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is near the airport so you will hear occasional sounds from that but the overall location and cleanliness of the hotel would be the reason I would stay there again.

The property was very nice however the surrounding area, sidewalks and grass upkeep was very surprising for an area with so much pedestrian traffic. The sidewalks are broken, uneven and unsafe. There were multiple open utility covers to fall into and super unsafe for the scooters you can rent. Half the sidewalks in some places were taken over by the uncut grass or you couldn’t pass by some areas very easily due to shoulder vegetation that had taken it over.
