Very nice location. Not far from Cortina by bus. Nice staff. Very quiet and not much around but great scenery and probably great hiking trails. We just used it as a stop over before starting the Alta Via one.

Great location for Tre Cime hike. Beautiful views from hotel. Loved having separate but connecting room for teens. Breakfast was good.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It’s a short drive down a gravel road surrounded by forest. Right next door is a working dairy farm. So it feels like you’re way out in the country, even though you’re pretty close to everything. It’s only 15 minutes from Dobbiaco, 30 minutes to Cortina d’Ampezzo, and 25 minutes from the parking area at Tre Cime de Lavaredo. There’s a lovely view of the mountain from the property. The hotel itself is older, so it’s a little dated. Thats the main reason for the four stars. Breakfast was a bit limited and identical every day. They offer a dinner buffet (extra 25 Euro per person) which was ok but the food was a little bland. It’s convenient since there aren’t a lot of other restaurants around without going into one of the nearby towns. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
