Fountain Park Hotel BW Signature Collection

We booked the stay here as we've stayed in the past and really enjoyed the pool at night to relax and hang out. Unfortunately, the hotel did not notify us via their website or the hotels.com website that it was going through construction and was closed. When I mentioned it to the desk agent, Navaeh she was snotty in asking where I booked my trip stating that she wanted to "cover all her bases". The issue is that the Hotels.com site and the BW site do not have anything about this amenity being closed. When I called BW direct (not the hotel) to book a room and test them on the availability when they were asked about the pool on site being open they said they had no info that it wasn't. It would have been nice to know before as we would have stayed elsewhere. In addition when I checked out the same desk agent recognized me from the day prior and was snotty again when I went to check out. She looked at me and said "Keys". I said I left them in the room, I just need a receipt please. She handed it to me with a snarky here you go. No thank you for staying with us, etc. The elevator is missing buttons and directional arrows as well. The button is an issue as someone could put their finger in their and touch the wires.

Staff was not very friendly. Overall, a very nice property however the outdoor restrooms at the swimming pool were out of order and closed. The restaurant was also closed but there were other places to eat nearby.

Beautiful walkable area. Clean and quiet with nice gym and pool.

Our 2nd time in the area and would definitely recommend this hotel for the price point. Gym was good as well. Breakfast was not our speed (super health conscious) but thats ok. Didn't use the pool but was clean and had restrooms outside for pool use which is convenient. Also the mini putting green was cute.

The front staff was very friendly and prepared for our check in. We used the pool and hot tub and it was very refreshing and clean. The bed was very uncomfortable causing poor sleep. They could benefit from a mattress pad. The attendant at the breakfast area was incredibly rude and the options were basic. For the price it wasn’t bad but the service with the breakfast attendant would prevent us from ever staying again.

Nice amenities with a well equipped fitness room and a nice pool.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Pool was were I hung out. Pool bottom needed maintenance. The concrete was breaking apart.

Love this place. So staycations here 4 or 5 times a year. Chill at the pool!!

The property was perfect for a family stay, quiet and right by an AMAZING park and playground. Able to walk to the Main Street for food or their farmers market. The stairwells smelled and the pool had a cracking floor but it was definitely still usable.

Located across the street from a nice walking trail around a lake. Our room was very nice except for an older fridge that hummed loudly. Pool area was excellent. Good breakfast options. The best thing was the quiet, community location.

We loved this property. Very clean, well maintained and in the quiet town of Fountain Hills. It is right across from the fountain and 2 awesome restaurants. Desk clerk was very courteous and friendly. We will be coming back.

Room was dirty. Pillowcases had make up on them. shower towels smelled sour.

Stayed here before and it has been really nice. This time I’m pretty sure a Sasquatch stayed in my room before I did, there was hair everywhere! There aren’t too many things that gross me out, but someone else’s hair all over the bathroom, on the towels, and on the bed puts me over the top. I also had to turn the fridge off because it was so loud. Also time for some new mattresses, it was pretty uncomfortable. I’ll stay here again on my next trip, just hope it’s a bald guy that stays in the room before me this time.

The stay was fine until we were woken up in the middle of the night with ants biting us in the bed. We looked around and there was and all throughout the entire room, multiple ares in the floor, the counter and the bathroom. We went to the front desk the next morning and all they offered us was some spray, sleeping in the same room you just sprayed bug spray is dumb at best, and this was the only solution they offered. Extremely disappointed in the situation and how they tried to handle it.

Very clean hotel

Hotel was in a good location. Waited for a hotel staff to show up for 5 mins because a sign said he was running an errand for another customer. Elevator is a little too stuffy for the luggage trolley. Hallways were pretty quiet, a little dim, and I did felt a little unsafe because there was no security cameras in the hallway besides one ring camera mounted on a wall near the laundry room. Room was clean, except shower floor and the fabric material on bed headboard was dirty. Disappointed the small refrigerator did not have a freezer. The AC barely worked with my room hotter than the hallway and front desk area. The baby crib (aka pack-in-play was clean and appears new). The wall paint and base board paint looks worn out/peeling. The black makeup face towel had lots of fuzz on it. The tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner is only enough to use one time. Did not have time to explore the outdoor pool. The free continental breakfast was quite simple with coffee, kids cafeteria-like small juice cups, milk stored in a coffee-like jug, three kinds of cereal, small yogurts, plastic utensils individually sealed to go, toast, bagel, distasteful cheap pastries, and once in a while those Jimmy Dean croissant sandwiches and small cheese egg burritos you will have to microwave yourself. It’s not the worst hotel but also nothing special; seems more like an in-between middle place to stop for the night.

This hotel was very clean and the room was comfortable/quiet, just what we needed for a relaxing evening. It's conveniently located to restaurants and is across the street from the Fountain. The hotel staff was very pleasant. Great place!

After a week of touring in AZ, and staying in different hotels, we spent our last night (Saturday) at this hotel... I got BED BUGS! I am just grateful that my wife was having trouble sleeping and using the other bed. I got them and she didn't. I contacted the staff on Sunday afternoon after a miserable day of travelling and got no acknowledgement of the problem. I have received no other any other communication, but they are withholding my $100 damage deposit in addition to the $112.37 room charge. We travel on a regular basis and I have had trouble with bed bugs only once before about 10 years ago. I got the bites on my hands, arms, shoulders and the back of my neck. Be careful and check your linens.

Very comfortable and very clean, quiet. Rooms are relatively large and the lobby is attractive.

Great place and so close to the community center and everything else! Room was amazing, and it was bigger than I expected. Full size fridge / had a mini kitchen with dishes and everything. Friendly staff at the desk.

I had to unplug the fridge because it was so loud and keeping me up. Which was no easy task because it was in a built in unit. And the TV was borderline unusable. The buttons on the remote don’t do what they supposed to. Just flipping through cable channels was impossible. But they let me check in early. So that was cool

Very nice location. We visited Fountain Hills during top temperatures though and the air conditioning unit in our room was not sufficient. At 61* setting the room temperature was more like 75/80*. I also would not recommend a park view room during the summer as the heat beats down on the front window.

Hotel is a great value and location. Only complaint is the mattress were pretty worn down both times we have stayed here and people coming in during the late hrs making noise. Maybe local construction crews getting off work which I totally understand.

Staff was friendly and rooms were clean but you can hear everything going on in the hallway and in surrounding rooms if guests are speaking loudly.

Late evening, we needed to warm our leftover food and enquired about a microwave. The gentleman on duty told us that there should have been one in the room. I assured him that there wasn't one in the room. He immediately, personally, brought one to our room and apologized for any inconvenience. Excellent service

Staff was very rude!

Our guest had no water pressure in their shower and since the hotel was full they could not do anything and she could not take a shower for the first day and they offered to move her the days after but she was already settled into the room and when we checked out they refused to comp the first night and were extremely rude about it. I would not recommend this place and we will put our guests someplace else from now on!

The room was ok. Breakfast was very odd. There was a guy who seemed to be the keeper of the food. Particularly the breakfast sandwiches. He watched them very closely and was very rude if he thought someone had too many. I decided to take my sandwich back to the room to heat and eat. After all, there was a microwave in the room. He followed me out of the breakfast room and down the hall, very upset with me that I took a sandwich with me. He must be paid very well to watch over the sandwiches as he took his job very serious. That turned me off from this hotel and I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to others.

When checking in, staff was very friendly and helpful. 10/10. Check-in was quick.

The room was very clean and most of the staff very friendly and accomodating. Unfortunately, Jason the front desk person, was not very accommodating. He was a bit short on patience, did not communicate well, and was a little rude in the later hours. Othwr than that, it was a great stay. If you have the pleasure of meeting Daina (Diana?) At the front desk, she is amazing and made our stay near perfect.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, will defintely be back.

Fountain Hills and The Fountain Park Hotel are a great place to stay away from the traffic and congestion near Phoenix and Scottsdale. Relaxing, no traffic in town, and convenient shopping and dining options. Our drive to the airport on Saturday morning took 35 minutes. We would do this again on a return visit to the Phoenix area.

Across the Hotel is an easy walk around the Fountain/Lake. Walkable to restaurants. Clean Hotel area & rooms. Easy parking. Quiet & safe area. Easy drive to (20 min) Old town Scottsdale.

Great spot in the middle of Fountain Hills. Walk to everything. The staff is very friendly. The grounds and common areas are clean. The rooms are spacious and comfy. I wish there were a sofa or loveseat in the room. There is space, and the armchair just wasn't as comfortable. Liked that they had streaming TV. I really wish they would reopen the restaurant. Breakfast is a disappointment, with only microwave or grab-and-go options. That is the only area for improvement. Will stay again.

The property is conveniently located across from the fountain for a scenic walk around the lake. One block from Main Street restaurants and shopping.

The hotel is in a very nice area, which makes it safe. Near dining options, so you can walk to restaurants. Also, near to the Fountain Park for walking and for the car show which we attended.

Great location for a quick overnight. If you haven't been to Fountain Hills before, it's a great location to stay to be near the fountain. Path around the pond there is also very peaceful.

Great hotel! Don't let the low price fool you. This hotel is clean, safe neighborhood, large rooms, several great restaurants within walking distance, the Fountain Hills par and fountain is literally across the street. Great pool and hot tub. Free breakfast! We arrived very early, room was not available, went o a car show, the front desk called us around 2 pm to say our room was ready. NICE!!

Great Location! Walkable to restaurants and Fountain Area. Fun park for kids, frisbee golf, walking path, etc.

The Hotel was newly remodeled, clean, quite and walking access to resturants. The breakfast sccess was not good. They should advertise as "muffins with stay" not "free breakfast".

The room was not ready by 3pm, which was rather inconvenient. We waited around for 30 minutes before we decided to just leave and come back later. We did enjoy the pool, and the room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was pretty good - microwave sandwiches and burritos, some cold options. It would have been helpful to have some more GF options. Overall, it was a very nice place. I was just unhappy with the delayed check-in.

Located across from the "Fountain" that shoots off every hour. Disappointed in the Breakfast provided. For a "kinda" fancy stay, Bfast was not desirable, who wants boiled eggs prepacked. The plus; our reservation was accidentally cancelled and they rearranged things, so we didn't have to stay elsewhere. Thank you!

We stayed here around 9 days. The staff was helpful when we had a problem or needed something. The daily rate was very reasonable! The breakfast is all pre packaged items (egg/sausage Burritos and McMuffin type sandwiches you microwave). There was also: hard boiled eggs, yogurt, muffins, toast, juice, etc. There was not the little buffet line of fresh scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, or make your own waffles... Our only 2 complaints would be: 1) the lack of a secure and most importantly strong internet/WIFI signal. It was almost impossible to get and hold a signal from the room that was not as slow as molasses. 2) on extend stays they do not come in and tidy up your room a little or replace anything. If you need towels, soap, etc., the front desk has it. We would definitely stay here again as the rates were fair and the staff was helpful the few times we needed them. Plus, Fountain Hills is an interesting place...

When we booked this hotel it said breakfast included well the breakfast was "grab and go" just some prepackaged food not even any milk.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The bath towels could use an update, as ours had some stains on them. The breakfast was decent for a continental breakfast. A hot breakfast would have been nice, but this continental breakfast had more options than most hotels that offer a minimal breakfast. We would stay here again.

Beautiful place, well kept. However, breakfast was subpar, to say the least. Dry goods, such as cereal, pastry… some fruits, yogurt. I was really disappointed, because by the aesthetic of the place I was expecting breakfast to similarly be more satisfying.

The view of the fountain and the mountains is incredible. The people working the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was extremely limited. It was basically cold cereal or a muffin and an apple. When I turned on the shower, the shower head flew off at me. There was no one available to fix it, so they put me in the room next door.

Breakfast needs more items. Comparable hotels have hot eggs, bacon, and/or sausages. Also, guest rooms should have full bottles of shampoos and conditioner. Otherwise, the decor is fantastic and modern! Nice place to stay!

The property is quiet and safe. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the free breakfast. As it turns out, the " free" breakfast was a "grab and go" breakfast! . The staff seemed miserable, and the morale was low.
