The Byre

This was a great stay over for a short 4 day trip to Syke. The location is excellent with a fantastic view and some good walks nearby. It's also way from the main tourist areas so was a nice secluded spot for a get away. The property has been kept in excellent condition and finished to a high standard so was a delight to stay in. The electric car charger was an added benefit which meant there was no need to go out and about to find a location to charge. The host was great too and sent all in information needed in advance and was quick to respond to any questions we sent through. I'd highly recommend this as a place to stay!

The Byre is an incredible place to stay. Very well and thoughtfully presented with everything we needed for our week on Skye. Spotlessly clean. An ideal space for a couple's get away. Loved the quirky spiral staircase and mezzanine bedroom with a superb view over the bay.

We were here at the beginning of June and it was perfect. A lovingly and thoughtfully furnished little holiday home in a quiet location with a beautiful view of the bay. Small but nice - and perfect for two people. If we had any questions about activities around Stein, we received good tips directly from Iain. We had a really great time and would love to come back.

Stayed here over new year - we were looking for somewhere remote to recharge our batteries and this fitted the bill exactly - beautiful cottage surrounded by beautiful scenery and a short walk to Stein Inn tops it off. Would highly recommend the area and cottage with its panoramic views of the lochs and the Western Isles A haven of warmth on cold days and topped off with a log fire for cosy evenings. Property absolutely spotless and well appointed. Only downside - we had to come home! Thanks Iain

Super gemütliches Tiny House. Besonders cool ist die kleine Bar am Fenster. Da macht schlechtes Wetter besonders Spaß. Wir können dieses Haus nur empfehlen.
