Very welcoming team at this unique castle. Quirky to the full, great home cooked food and an unpretentious atmosphere. What's not to love!

A perfect way to spend a relaxing few days celebrating our anniversary. The room was lovely and the food good. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly owner and staff.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming but we were staying there for an event in a local village so were unable to stay for dinner. When we got back at 10.30 the bar was closed. Afternoon tea was the only daytime meal available as no lunch menu. Great night's sleep in comfy bed. Narrow track driveway to the car park. Lovely and peaceful surroundings with beautiful gardens.
