L'esperienza è stata molto piacevole e rilassante, il personale super, dalla reception al ristorante. Menzione speciale per Claudia in area ristorante/colazione! C'è stato un disguido durante il check-in ma il personale ha operato, con una mia piccola spinta, per risolvere la problematica con successo. L'hotel è molto piacevole, curato nei dettagli ed è stato tutto molto rilassante, ottimo il servizio navetta e la spiaggia super! Unico neo è la piscina, molto molto bella ma manca un controllo (basterebbe un bagnino) per cui non ci sono regole, esterni che entrano per usufruire della piscina, bambini che schiamazzano, saltano, si tuffano da ogni lato, spruzzano e impediscono di rilassarti.

This property is a hidden Gem. The facility is new and modernly updated. The staff is wonderful and very eager to please. The breakfast is very good. The pool, the spa and easy access to the beach by shuttle is wonderful. You would definitely need a car to explore the area but the hotel can assist with that on site. Our visit was for 11 days and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Lovely hotel. Private beach was perfect, really easy shuttle to the beach. Lovely pool area. Espresso machine in room was great. Dinner in the hotel was also amazing! The only thing we would have liked was easier access to the snack bar at the pool for drinks etc. we had to try and find a member of staff and found the opening times for snack bar, lunch restaurant, dinner restaurant and bar quite confusing.

Amazing staff and facilities. You do need to take a shuttle to the beach but the driver was our favourite and is a short drive. Resort was very clean and comfortable. Parking was easy behind the resort in their parking lot.

This resort is NOT beach front. You must take a bus down to beach area. There is NO other food or shopping around. It is 50 euro to taxi into the Marina or town area for other food choices. Very expensive. The staff here were dismissive and uniterested in any sort of customer care. We were never even acknowledged when entering lobby or restaurant. We felt discriminated against due to being english speaking. There were so many issues I recommend choosing anywhere but this resort. It is loud. I could smell smoke ever night through vents even though we were in non smoking room. The Restaurant was often quite empty yet we were asked everytime if we had reservations. As other guest arrived, they were NOT questioned about reservations. They were all European. The Bar and Cafe area was NEVER staffed. The front desk often had several huddled around a computer ignoring us. There is nobody to help with bags either. If you need temperature adjustments in room you must call front desk and only they can adjust. It is a shame as the Spa is very nice facility but the communication is difficult. What kind of 4 star resort and Spa doesn't provide Shampoo and conditioner? Barely a 2 star.

Overall we had a lovely experience. When booking, I did not realize that there was a train track between the Resort and the beach - but this was easily overcome with a 3 minute shuttle ride provided by the resort.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Beds are like a rock so for me, not very comfortable but if you like very hard beds, they are great. The spa is beautiful but the water in the swim spa was too cool for my liking and the massage room was freezing resulting in a terrible cold. The massage table was also like a rock and therefore not comfortable. The hotel is not on the beach, and a train runs between the hotel and the beach though it is very quiet. You can however go to the sister property to go to the beach which is lovely. The pool area is very nice as is the lobby bar. Breakfast is also good, though I could not believe my eyes when I saw hot dogs on the buffet.

The property was not well landscaped as pictured, the pool was surrounded by a stone wall and there was a loud train on the road beside that is not pictured/described in the photos. we had also asked for a an infant bed for my 18 month old son, which turned out to have BED BUGS. my son woke with horrible red itchy bites all over his face and hands after our stay here. Would not recommend. very disappointing and could have caused a lot of harm to my sons health. we spent days upon our return home washing all our belongings very carefully to make sure the bed bugs were not brought back into our home. A lot of our sons belongings had to be thrown out and this cost us a lot of money.

L’hôtel est décoré avec beaucoup de gout, moderne et sombre. nous y avons passé un agréable séjour, le personnel est très accueillant et gentil. Notre chambre était spacieuse avec une belle vue sur la mer, la literie est très bonne. La qualité du petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur du standing de l’hôtel, cependant il y a du choix. Piscine agréable avec un bar à disposition. L’hôtel est près de la voie ferrée, pas très esthétique mais peu de train passe donc pas de nuisance. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Unterkunft ist sehr modern, Ausstattung vollkommen ausreichend und das Personal super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Bett jeden Tag frisch gemacht, jeden Tag frische Handtücher, leider wurden benutze Teller und benutztes Besteck nicht erneuert. Auch an ein oder zwei Kanten war offensichtlich Staub sichtbar - außer dieser zwei Punkte jedoch sehr sauber und ordentlich geführt, vor allem das Bad sowie das komplette restliche Hotel mit seinen Gemeinschaftsräumlichkeiten. Größe des Hotel ist recht klein, aber für uns genau das was wir gesucht hatten und somit optimal. Das inbegriffene Frühstücksbuffet ebenfalls sehr sauber mit frischen leckeren Sachen. Die Auswahl war nicht besonders groß und nicht täglich wechselnd, jedoch für unsere Zwecke auch absolut ausreichend und sättigend, die Menge ist mehr als ausreichend. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, hier empfiehlt es sich ein Auto dabei zu haben. Mit ein paar Gehminuten ist jedoch auch der private Strand des zum Anbieter des Resorts gehörenden Nachbarhotels, welchen man kostenfrei mitbenutzen darf, recht gut erreichbar. Für weitere Ausflüge ohne Auto ist jedoch auch ein Bahnhof in fußläufiger Erreichbarkeit. Alles in Allem je nach individuellen Präferenzen ein super Hotel, empfehlenswert!

This hotel and staff provides great modern facilities and excellent service. Room, restaurant and pool area all spotlessly clean, modern design, and well looked after. Easy to arrange car hire direct at hotel for good price, and airport transfers via hotel, far cheaper than airport taxi's too. Car hire recommended, as so many beautiful area's nearby, and taxi's/uber's expensive, and can be lengthy wait at peak times, ie evenings. Not that much 'walkable' distance. Castellammare del golfo marina (10 min short drive), stunning! And offers great selection of restaurants/bars with amazing views. Village of scopello defo worth a visit too.

This was a lovely hotel with a friendly, accommodating staff. In general a great experience except a couple things. 1. It’s not on the beach, but across train tracks. The public beach is walkable and a private beach available through a sister property but not super convenient. 2. While the hotel overall was lovely, our room smelled like a wet ashtray. It was overbearing and gross. We only stayed one night or I would have asked to change rooms. Not all rooms smelled - the other room for our party seemed fine. Our room was so smelly. Other than the smelly room, it was a lovely hotel. The bar was nice and the restaurant delicious. Hard to accurately assess as things were good except the smelly room.

Voyage d'une semaine en couple, c'est avec plaisir que nous découvrons le Batigia Resort. Chambre spacieuse, propre, avec vue magnifique. Le cadre est en clin au repos et à la décontraction. Tout y est choisi avec goût et l'envie de bien faire du personnel fait vraiment plaisir à voir. Le Spa est excellente autant en terme de qualité des soins qu'en variété de ceux proposés. Le restaurant est du même acabit, raffiné, avec service au petit soin. Petit bémol sur la variété du petit déjeuner, mais rien de rédibitoire pour autant (nos habitudes françaises on la peau dure ! ). À recommander les yeux fermés.

The hotel is new, only a year old in a small quiet seaside town. The rooms were beautiful and we had a massive ensuite too and huge balcony looking out to sea. The hotel is located across from the train station but no trains were running. The hotel has a shuttle that takes you to the beach at their other hotel which was awesome as the beach across from hotel was meh. The area really requires a car, without a car you will struggle to get around or pay a lot of € to get transfers. We unfortunately had no car so we're hit hard with taxi and transfer fees. The hotel could do well with a shuttle going to Alcamo city centre.

The staff are wonderful at this resort. It is well designed, has a good pool, rooms are great, super beds. Restaurant food was average but breakfast was good. Location is a little strange in a residential area but you can walk to the beach and views are beautiful. Only a 10min drive into Castellemare del Golfo.

Lovely spot if you're in the area. We stayed there for our last 2 days after spending 16 days touring the island. What a good idea it was. We got to unwind and relax before returning home. Staff are all very friendly, I found it to be their strength as a resort. The pool, though a bit cool, is nice with a great music selection and the sound volume is just right. Quick access to a beautiful beach using their inhouse shuttle which was no problem at all. True are the other comments about the soundproofing, not the best and the room terrasses could use a higher separator for better intimacy.

La piscine très bien le petit déjeuner super appréciable par contre le claquement des portes de chambre pas tres agréable la personne de enzo et très agréable et aussi ils manquent des infos de votre part pour les activités au aller-retour ont reviendra a bientôt

The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Beds are like a rock so for me, not very comfortable but if you like very hard beds, they are great. The spa is beautiful but the water in the swim spa was too cool for my liking and the massage room was freezing resulting in a terrible cold. The massage table was also like a rock and therefore not comfortable. The hotel is not on the beach, and a train runs between the hotel and the beach though it is very quiet. You can however go to the sister property to go to the beach which is lovely. The pool area is very nice as is the lobby bar. Breakfast is also good, though I could not believe my eyes when I saw hot dogs on the buffet.

L'esperienza è stata molto piacevole e rilassante, il personale super, dalla reception al ristorante. Menzione speciale per Claudia in area ristorante/colazione! C'è stato un disguido durante il check-in ma il personale ha operato, con una mia piccola spinta, per risolvere la problematica con successo. L'hotel è molto piacevole, curato nei dettagli ed è stato tutto molto rilassante, ottimo il servizio navetta e la spiaggia super! Unico neo è la piscina, molto molto bella ma manca un controllo (basterebbe un bagnino) per cui non ci sono regole, esterni che entrano per usufruire della piscina, bambini che schiamazzano, saltano, si tuffano da ogni lato, spruzzano e impediscono di rilassarti.

This property is a hidden Gem. The facility is new and modernly updated. The staff is wonderful and very eager to please. The breakfast is very good. The pool, the spa and easy access to the beach by shuttle is wonderful. You would definitely need a car to explore the area but the hotel can assist with that on site. Our visit was for 11 days and we enjoyed every minute of it.

This hotel and staff provides great modern facilities and excellent service. Room, restaurant and pool area all spotlessly clean, modern design, and well looked after. Easy to arrange car hire direct at hotel for good price, and airport transfers via hotel, far cheaper than airport taxi's too. Car hire recommended, as so many beautiful area's nearby, and taxi's/uber's expensive, and can be lengthy wait at peak times, ie evenings. Not that much 'walkable' distance. Castellammare del golfo marina (10 min short drive), stunning! And offers great selection of restaurants/bars with amazing views. Village of scopello defo worth a visit too.

This resort is NOT beach front. You must take a bus down to beach area. There is NO other food or shopping around. It is 50 euro to taxi into the Marina or town area for other food choices. Very expensive. The staff here were dismissive and uniterested in any sort of customer care. We were never even acknowledged when entering lobby or restaurant. We felt discriminated against due to being english speaking. There were so many issues I recommend choosing anywhere but this resort. It is loud. I could smell smoke ever night through vents even though we were in non smoking room. The Restaurant was often quite empty yet we were asked everytime if we had reservations. As other guest arrived, they were NOT questioned about reservations. They were all European. The Bar and Cafe area was NEVER staffed. The front desk often had several huddled around a computer ignoring us. There is nobody to help with bags either. If you need temperature adjustments in room you must call front desk and only they can adjust. It is a shame as the Spa is very nice facility but the communication is difficult. What kind of 4 star resort and Spa doesn't provide Shampoo and conditioner? Barely a 2 star.

Big thank you to all the staff for being so Welcoming. I had the most relaxing time. Big shout out to Alfredo in the restaurant, Hannah and Nataysa and spa Team, housekeeping, reception and Manager. Just to say the Chefs serve the most amazing food. I would definitely recommend. This hotel is a hidden jewel.

Understand that this property is NOT on the beach. There is a shuttle that takes visitors 0.8 miles to the beach property of a sister hotel. We asked to be moved to the hotel Battaglia, which was on the beach. That beach and outdoor area were lovely.

Rigtig fint hotel med vældig god service. Det var ikke crowded. Der går en kæmpe jernbane mellem hotellet og stranden og det er virkelig ærgerligt, og det fremgår heller ikke nogen steder i beskrivelsen at man ikke har adgang til stranden.

This was a lovely hotel with a friendly, accommodating staff. In general a great experience except a couple things. 1. It’s not on the beach, but across train tracks. The public beach is walkable and a private beach available through a sister property but not super convenient. 2. While the hotel overall was lovely, our room smelled like a wet ashtray. It was overbearing and gross. We only stayed one night or I would have asked to change rooms. Not all rooms smelled - the other room for our party seemed fine. Our room was so smelly. Other than the smelly room, it was a lovely hotel. The bar was nice and the restaurant delicious. Hard to accurately assess as things were good except the smelly room.

L’hôtel est décoré avec beaucoup de gout, moderne et sombre. nous y avons passé un agréable séjour, le personnel est très accueillant et gentil. Notre chambre était spacieuse avec une belle vue sur la mer, la literie est très bonne. La qualité du petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur du standing de l’hôtel, cependant il y a du choix. Piscine agréable avec un bar à disposition. L’hôtel est près de la voie ferrée, pas très esthétique mais peu de train passe donc pas de nuisance. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Lovely hotel. Private beach was perfect, really easy shuttle to the beach. Lovely pool area. Espresso machine in room was great. Dinner in the hotel was also amazing! The only thing we would have liked was easier access to the snack bar at the pool for drinks etc. we had to try and find a member of staff and found the opening times for snack bar, lunch restaurant, dinner restaurant and bar quite confusing.

Voyage d'une semaine en couple, c'est avec plaisir que nous découvrons le Batigia Resort. Chambre spacieuse, propre, avec vue magnifique. Le cadre est en clin au repos et à la décontraction. Tout y est choisi avec goût et l'envie de bien faire du personnel fait vraiment plaisir à voir. Le Spa est excellente autant en terme de qualité des soins qu'en variété de ceux proposés. Le restaurant est du même acabit, raffiné, avec service au petit soin. Voyage d'une semaine en couple, c'est avec plaisir que nous découvrons le Batigia Resort. Chambre spacieuse, propre, avec vue magnifique. Le cadre est en clin au repos et à la décontraction. Tout y est choisi avec goût et l'envie de bien faire du personnel fait vraiment plaisir à voir. Le Spa est excellente autant en terme de qualité des soins qu'en variété de ceux proposés. Le restaurant est du même acabit, raffiné, avec service au petit soin. Nice resort, sun beds and beach furniture could do with updating, breakfast delicious with nice choice. Room was a bit odd, no privacy in shower, balcony huge with amazing views.

Die Nutzung des Spa Bereiches war kostenpflichtig und teuer. Der Strand war zum Hotel durch eine Bahnlinie und Zäune abgesperrt. Das "Deluxe" Zimmer war spartanisch ausgestattet und nicht dekoriert. In der Expedia Anzeige war das alles so nicht dargestellt. Das Frühstück war einfach und gut, allerdings nicht abwechslungsreich.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. It's a lovely spa resort and great for couples/groups of friends. However we were on a family holiday and looking for somewhere with the baby and there were a few things that were disappointing on that front and something to consider for travellers with a young child. The restaurant didn't open till 7:30 in the evening and there was nothing else in the area walkable. We picked this hotel for it's indoor heated pool, it's more a large spa jacuzzi. Although family time was supposed to be every day on the Sunday it was cancelled and made available for the general guests and Tuesday the spa was closed for regular maintenance so we were only able to use the indoor pool on one day we were there which was a real disappointment and those restrictions and closures weren't clear. The room was really spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good spread and the connected beach side hotel, which was a 5min transfer away, was lovely. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and were grateful to the amazing staff for looking after us and making us feel so welcome.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel La Battigia. The hotel is extremely clean, and you can tell the team takes great pride in maintaining the property. The staff are fantastic – friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. One of the highlights of the stay was definitely the food, which was excellent. The restaurant offers amazing dishes and a great dining experience. The only downside is the acoustics in the rooms. You can hear people walking in the corridors quite clearly, the air conditioning unit can be quite loud, and at times you can also hear conversations from neighbouring rooms. If the sound insulation were improved, the stay would be perfect. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with wonderful staff and great food, and I would still recommend it.
