A modern, comfortable motel with excellent EV charging facilities, highly recommended

Easy access to the motel and diner. Room very good and the bed was very comfortable. Free hot water for drinks from water dispenser in the corridor. Staff very pleasant and helpful especially Daryl, she was brilliant.

Greeted by friendly and helpful staff with a nice modern place to stay. The reception and lounge area with a 24hr bar is a great idea and had a great atmosphere along with the friendly staff it was a great experience. Up the stairs to our room it was modern clean and comfortable with a decent amount of space for a short stay. We booked a table at the diner for breakfast and the food was great (not included in price) the staff everywhere were friendly and happy to help the food was fresh and had lots of locally sourced produce. The only negative points I have to make were the stairs were very dark and paired with a 24hr bar may cause a tumble ! And secondly there were tea bags and coffee bags in our room but no kettle. None of this detracted from our stay and we would choose this over any of its competitors

Clean room and lovey shower, room isnt very big. Bed comfortable, no kettle in rooms but hot and cold water available in hallways. Apps wasnt available/epildnt work on tv. Dinner opposite hospital lovely and great food

Wow. What a great setup! 24/7 reception and bar/lounge. Lovely garden seating area. Next door to a diner, and a fuel station with minimart. A GHD hair straightener, and dryer in the room! In the hall a chilled water and hot water dispenser. Modern and nicely decorated. Lots of parking. Quiet area. Comfortable bed and good pillows :) The price was amazing for the quality of the accommodation. The lounge area also has an area for you to make a takeout coffee/tea on departure (with cups) , and sparkling water dispenser.

We’ve stayed here a few times before and love it, modern comfy rooms, friendly staff. Only one issue this time was their EV chargers were being replaced so none available.

Everything was ok until the water had been turned off due to an issue with the next room. I wasn't informed until I went to reception. A few hours later, I was asked to move rooms.

the rainforest shower is awesome. I was disappointed that my room was not properly cleaned on the second night of my stay - my bed was not made and although the towels were wet they were not changed for fresh ones.

Great stay, everything spotless, very comfortable beds, the staff couldn’t do enough for you. I would however have preferred a kettle in the room rather than the quooker tap in the corridor.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was lovely bar a very large dark dirt mark across one of the chairs. Great location and so quiet despite being so close to the main road! Slightly disappointed by the diner as when we got there half the menu was not available due to not having enough ingredients. Other than that would highly reccomend this hotel for a staycation

We loved our stay at Mollies and immediately started planning a trip to the other location in Bristol! The price was amazing value, the room was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated which added to the welcoming comfortable atmosphere. Very family friendly and a great location to go on to explore the Cotswolds.

Excellent stay as usual, stayed here 15 times at least now and is constantly reliable. Clean, tidy, friendly place to stay with a lovely bit of design in the mix.

I recently stayed for 2 nights at Mollie's Motel in Oxfordshire. The building is conveniently located next to a Mollie's Diner and a BP garage (with an M&S). There is plenty of parking and the hotel surroundings are clean and tidy. First impressions were very favourable. Check in was quick and efficient, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, helpfully booking me a table for dinner at the neighbouring diner. The room itself is relatively small but very tastefully decorated. The bathroom was small, with a sink in the room outside of the bathroom - a bit odd, but worked just fine. The Cowshed toiletries smell delicious and the addition of a Dyson hairdryer and GHD straighteners was a nice touch. There was a faintly sewer-y smell coming from the sink, which was a bit unpleasant at times. I also found that the shower only had a rain shower head, which I find difficult to use if trying to keep my hair dry. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds that I've ever slept in! The window in my room didn't open and it was quite hot when I arrived. The heating/air-con panel was quite confusing, so it took me some time to work out how to turn it on. Fresh air would have been very welcome. My one big gripe would be the lack of kettle in the rooms. There are mugs, tea bags and coffee bags, but you have to use the communal hot water tap in the hallway. I disliked this and don't trust the hygiene level of a communal tap. No idea how thoroughly/often it's cleaned out

Lovely stylish and peaceful roadside spot. Fab lively restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Definitely not only half an hour into central Oxford though, unless you've got a sports car and leave at 3am.

Great room, very comfortable bed. Shower is so powerful, great to have Dyson and ghd hair equipment. Great to have decent coffee available for free in the lobby.

Stayed for one night, Monday into a Tuesday. Check in was easy. Phone keypass to enter the rooms was really clever and sleek. Rooms perfect, no issues with them at all. One thing I would mention is the air con was either too hot or too cold - couldn’t quite work out a middle. But still managed to sleep perfectly. Parking is great and lots of spaces, not sure how it would be on a weekend. Only issue here, we had a plug in Hybrid car and to park in the overnight spaces it was a £15 flat fee to use. Which is way too expensive for a hybrid. Could be useful and economical for a fully electric car but not mine so instead used the fast charge spaces which were 80p per KWH so not cheap.

Interesting concept with bare minimum, but the heater should work while sleeping. Heater worked in the morning but not at night even-though we adjusted the thermostat accordingly. Consequently, we got sick the next day.

Great place to stay. Staff very helpful and friendly at a check-in after 10pm. Restaurant for breakfast was excellent quality.

Hotel was great. But an hour into our stay, the reception desk muat have printed another key or allocated it to someone else as someone just wondered into our room while we were in there. However the receptionist at the time did massively apologise and gave us two free drinks. The food in the diner is also really good and i recommend the flatiron steak.

Your manager and front of house staff are exceptional...everyone working on the desk has been incredible..

I love Mollie's a lot. I was staying there on my own and wasn't due to arrive until the early hours, but their parking was right at the door, and the team were there to greet me and help after a super long day. It has excellent rooms and great staff; I can't wait for my next stay.

Our stay was amazing we booked last minute after being let down by another venue on the day. The receptionist was very helpful her name was Darryll, our room and the facilities were first class. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, had a few issues to start with for the app and digital keycard but receptionists was lovely to help. Good size rooms with very comfortable bed. Loved the ghd straighteners and dyson hair dryer and best shower ever!

Booked a weekend here for my partners birthday. I messaged a few days before asking if anything could be left in the room on arrival (not everywhere does it but worth a try), to my delight they said a card and some bits will be left in the room. Arrived and nothing was left which was disappointing. Messaged the hotel, they apologised and told us a note has been left on our breakfast reservation for a small discount. Upon receiving the bill after we ate, shock, no discount applied. Embarrassingly had to speak to someone again and show them the message. We also had dinner at the diner. Saw a few reviews saying service was slow but this wasn’t the case. Service was quick and polite. The food however wasn’t great. I’ve only ever sent back food once in my life and this was the second. The Mac and Cheese was inedible with a horrible taste of microwaved mustard. The waitress happily swapped this for a burger which was much better although upon receiving the bill the Mac and Cheese was still on there. Really frustrating at this point. I was super excited to stay here but felt disappointed having to speak to staff so much. Things need to be fine-tuned before I could recommend mollie’s. A few stars because the room is nice (especially the shower - heaven!!!), there was a nice free birthday ice cream at dinner and the wait staff are friendly. Won’t be back but glad we tried it anyway.

Bus into Oxford across the road from the hotel. Diner was busy and tasty. Loved it. Would definitely stay again.

Nice modern motel with modern rooms and spacious. Has a gas station with m&s which is very convenient and the diner was also great. Its around half an hours drive to oxford.

Lovely place, nice and quiet, although a bit far from Oxford. Service in the restaurant could be a bit slow, although they were busy. Shower good, nice toiletries. Comfy bed. No kettle, which was a bit of a pain- there was a hot water tap in the corridor which was fine, but you had to get dressed, go into the corridor with your cup and a key, and the lighting wasn’t great so you couldn’t see how far the water was coming up. Nearly scalded myself a couple of times.

Good place to stay for access to Oxford and Swindon

Stayed here for 1 night and was very impressed. The quirkiness of the motel was a nice touch especially having the diner opposite. The staff were very welcoming and very friendly. They were always on hand to help when needed. There is not much within walking distance of the hotel but plenty a short drive or bus ride away. Would recommend and will be staying again!

Always feel premium and amazing value for money. Location isn’t great but that’s not the point of the motel.

A fabulous find. Beautiful setting, well appointed rooms. Easy to find. Diner was new and clean. Food was very good.

Booked this for my parents who said: “I was very pleasantly surprised with the motel and especially the diner. I especially liked the cowshed products and the Dyson hairdryer, something I wouldn’t normally get to use. The room was tastefully decorated, the bed was very comfy and I would certainly recommend a stay. If you’re staying here and don’t want to drive to Oxford, there’s a great bus service that goes from across the road and for a very reasonable price. Thank you also for my birthday treats!”

The motel was great, the amenities were amazing and the service was fantastic. I would defiantly recommend The diner however was not so great. The food was very good but the service was shocking. We had to wait a while to get seated for dinner, then we had to wait to get are drinks and food order taken. Then after we ordered we had to wait ages for our drinks even though we could see that they were left up on the side. Then after getting our drinks, my partner was given a 'free birthday ice cream' before we had our mains! then after this we were given the bill!! I told the waitress that we had not even eaten yet which she then replied that we were third in the queue so it won't be long. Another 30 minutes went past, we had both finished are drinks and were still waiting for our food. Someone finally came back over to us (I think a manager) asking if we had eaten and we replied no. They then went and bought us our food 5 minutes later - luckily she told us that we did not have to pay. The food is very good but the service is just something else - I understand that it was busy and maybe understaffed but being bought out a dessert and then the bill before the main is just crazy. The next morning we went back for breakfast and the service was a bit better but we were still waiting for ages for our drinks and food. Again, we had already finished are drinks long before we got our food and the people who were seated just before us had eaten and left before we had even got our food.

Motel was fabulous. Very clean and welcoming. Room was great and loved the Dyson hairdryer. The Diner however not so good. Booked a table for hubbys birthday meal. No steak and no rolls for the chilli hotdog, and they didnt seem to be bothered either. We left feeling very disappointed. Overall loved the stay at the Motel and would definitely return.

The hotel was great for many reasons and excellent value for money. The big let down was going for breakfast at the diner in the morning to be told that it was closed for a private commercial event. It would have been much better if the breakfast could have still happened but finished earlier than usual, or even if we could have been warned on the web site and told by the staff when checking in.

The staff are great and there is a fantastic diner on the other side of the car park. My favourite place in the area!

Lovely clean rooms, motel is immaculate with a very relaxed vibe. Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby, GHD straighteners and Dyson hairdryers in the rooms which is so convenient. Smart TV also was a nice perk. The room type we stayed in was extremely good value and so spacious and modern and a huge bed. Added benefit of Mollies Diner next door too which had friendly service and delicious food! All this being less than a 30min drive into the centre of Oxford made this a great base for our break away. Would have no hesitations in staying again!!

Very comfortable beds but lack of proper reception and we dont like having to get water from a point in the hall. Woukd rather have a kettle in the room. The service having breakfast was very poor having to wait 45 minutes for our food and having to ask as we were never kept updated.
