We checked in late so had to roll bags through restaurant to room. Set in a beautiful spot in the highlands, looking out at the loch. Exterior quite plain. Room may have been clean but carpet in room was severely stained and looked filthy so set the tone for how we felt about our experience from time we arrived. The whole place is quite worn. Restaurant and bar area had bright lighting and not much decor, piping in 80’s rock so our expensive dinner felt like a diner. Nice enough if your expectations are low. No lift or assistance for bags. Staff friendly.

From checking in to checking out this is a wonderful place. Everything is a high standard. The furnishings in lounge area very relaxing. My room was standard but would be deemed superior in many establishments. Restaurant delivers great food in a pleasant environment. This is a first class hotel. Our dog friendly room was the best we had in a 2 week tour of Scotland. Spacious, comfortable and well furnished. Setting is superb and the outside seating in the garden was perfect for relaxing and meeting people as well as watching the sun go down. Worth the price for an excellent stay. Oh and the herd of goats that visit the hotel in the evening and 1st thing on a morning are a must see!

The newly refurbished section was beautifully done and certainly brings the venue up a few notches. Definitely worthy of more than its allocated stars. Friendly staff and good food made for a very enjoyable stay

We arrived on the later end of check-in, so we checked in through the bar, as requested. The room was very clean and had all the required amenities. The area around the lidge is beautiful, and the breakfast was really good. The downsides are that there was no fan to combat the heat in the room. We opened the windows, but no air from outside moved into the room. There was no iron. The shower didn't drain well, and I was concerned that it would overflow into the bathroom floor before i could get a short shower.

Check in from the bar gave me wrong 1st impression for the room rate we paid. Staff were friendly, and took care of our shower concerns. Dinner, Hob Goblin, wisky, and Scottish breakfast were all wonderful. The stairs going up to room 14 is narrow from the bar entry, presented challenges for check-in luggage size. The room got a great view. Shower pressure was weak. Our room could use a remodel. The reception area was nice, maybe that part of hotels has remodeled rooms. It's a decent stay, but I expected more with the rate we paid.

Una struttura di livello, pulita, accogliente e in una posizione stupenda. Purtroppo io ho avuto un problema con il bagno, ma mi hanno offerto un’altra camera che aveva altrettanti problemi. Per questo disagio si sono scusati e mi hanno offerto uno sconto su quanto pagato. Sono cose che possono succedere, l’importante è essere disponibili a trovare delle soluzioni e loro lo hanno fatto.

Great atmosphere in bar/restaurant and lovley staff. Comfortable bed and we slept really well. But bathroom horrendously old fashioned, (eg under powered Mira electric shower) and overall the price of the room was much too high for something so dated .

Absolutely loved everything about Kintail Lodge ! Our room was literally brand new with so many amenities, extremely comfortable with unbeatable view of the loch. We had drinks & dinner at the lodge and enjoyed amazing food and drinks with great service. The next morning walked to Wee Bun house and our group bought almost every irresistible sweet and coffees, just wonderful! Highly recommend!!

The room was very clean, which I liked. But the bed was a standard double with a footboard, which wasn't big enough for my 6'1". The pillows were huge synthetic lumps which I couldn't use. Had to roll up a towel to use as a substitute. WiFi was poor. Evening food was ok. People were very friendly. But, £136 for the night (one person) not great value for money.

Hotel is ok, but we stayed in the Family Room as there were 3 of us. But the second "room" is a bed in the hallway between the main bedroom and the bathroom. It had no window and an emergency exit light that was on all night. Also the shower over the bath was unusable unless you knelt to shower. Other rooms may be better, but don't book the Family Room.

An amazing setting for this lovely hotel with newly refurbished rooms and a welcoming and friendly staff. We stayed one night which was perfect for our trip to Eilean Donan castle only a ten minute drive away.

Had a very nice room #1 with a great view!!! Staff was very nice & helpful. A few options for snacks in the room was perfect. The outside of the building is a bit outdated and in need of upkeep but room was renovated and lovely :) Couldn’t get heat in room, was a bit cold. Blankets were provided. Walls are thin, could hear neighbors but wasn’t a big issue

The night staff was very friendly and let us arrange a late arrival. We had a family comfort room and it was great for two adults and two teens. We all slept quite well after a day of ferry, hiking and driving from Isle of Harris. Location was so peaceful. The breakfast was delicious --although our server kept saying how "finnicky" the chef was when we made small requests or alterations. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to anyone!

What a hidden gem! We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Kintail Lodge. Rooms were excellent as were facilities. Evening meal was superb - real value for money. All staff were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make the stay perfect. Icing on cake was the honesty - when our son’s wallet was actively returned by house staff, having been found in bar with a substantial amount of cash in it! Wonderful stay. Thank you. We will return.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is very nice, but it's worth noting that they do not accept Amex cards. While there isn’t a supermarket nearby, the hotel offers plenty of complimentary snacks, which was a nice touch. Breakfast typically starts at 8 AM, but when we mentioned that we needed to check out at 8 AM, the hotel staff kindly offered to prepare a packed lunch instead. They provided us with homemade sandwiches, fruit juice, and potato chips. It was a very thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more memorable.

A very comfortable and modern room overlooking the lake, very nicely furnished. Breakfast was ok, coffee machine seems to maintain luke warm coffee and the waitress was very surly despite us offering friendliness and warmth, which was a shame, but not a show stopper...

An amazing setting for this lovely hotel with newly refurbished rooms and a welcoming and friendly staff. We stayed one night which was perfect for our trip to Eilean Donan castle only a ten minute drive away.

We loved our stay at Kintail Lodge. Our room had a beautiful view of the loch. Dinner in the restaurant/bar was excellent, as was the lodge's breakfast.

We checked in late so had to roll bags through restaurant to room. Set in a beautiful spot in the highlands, looking out at the loch. Exterior quite plain. Room may have been clean but carpet in room was severely stained and looked filthy so set the tone for how we felt about our experience from time we arrived. The whole place is quite worn. Restaurant and bar area had bright lighting and not much decor, piping in 80’s rock so our expensive dinner felt like a diner. Nice enough if your expectations are low. No lift or assistance for bags. Staff friendly.

Lovely clean and quiet property. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent. Will be dreaming of that braised pork pie. Breakfast in the morning was also good and very efficient. Overall great value to stay .

The newly refurbished section was beautifully done and certainly brings the venue up a few notches. Definitely worthy of more than its allocated stars. Friendly staff and good food made for a very enjoyable stay

Very clean and well kept. The signage could be clearer as it wasn't always clear where things were or when things were open. If you stay in room 3, you'll hear everything in the breakfast room below when breakfast is being served, but the property is beautiful, the food is wonderful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the room itself was very comfortable. Overall, a great experience.
