The location was great. Ability to check in and out through a device saved time having to line up at reception. Unfortunately my suitcase was broken in luggage storage by another customer. While the managers handled this well by compensating me, I think the ability for other customers to access all luggage and move/touch my belongings should be reassessed. I’ve never seen a hotel allow customers direct access to the luggage storage.

Great location, easy walking distance to the City and surrounding sights and transport. Rooms were comfortable. The Smart TV was annoying, kept on having to reset it, just want a TV you can turn on and watch and not have to muck around with. Also 2 of the lifts broke down while we were there and no one around to report this to to get them fixed. First time I have had to check myself in, feel like we are paying more and getting less!

very good hotel, easy check in, nice room, everything you need and reasonable cost. One restaurant on site, limited asian foods available, but good happy hour. Not really close to anything, but about 10 min walk to nearest train station. Would probably stay closer to downtown if in Sydney again, but having said that its only about $12 for an Uber

Love the location- short walk to central, world square shops, restaurants, public transport. Staff friendly enough. Self serve check in. Room looked a little tired (bathroom door handle and stopper broken) but overall quite good. Daily room service which was nice! Room was quiet even though close to a main road. Couldn’t figure out where the mugs were kept - was in a drawer above the fridge with no handle, needed to pull open from underneath. This hotel used to have a simple gym which was great before they changed ownership- definitely miss the gym. Overall very happy with my stay!

Good location, breakfast was good. Room and bathroom could have been a lot cleaner. Bathroom stank and there was old urine baked onto the loo seat. Hand wash and body wash was not topped up and I don’t think the bathroom floor has ever been washed.

Seems like the hotel has finally replaced the old and filthy curtains which is great. Unfortunately the bathrooms are only clean on the surface. Grime is deep in the tiles and there are too many cracked. It’s a shame when there is little attention to details including towels with holes. There is a small sink and fridge but doesn’t seem to have a microwave the last few times I have stayed. It’s hard to justify the cost for me. Onsite restaurant/bar is good.

Photos make the rooms look nicer than they actually are, seems much older/worn down where I was. The room we got felt more like a college dorms room than a hotel room. The bathroom floor had mold/mildew, the tv remote was covered in gunk, and it was just apparent that the cleaning was not the most thorough. Maybe the standard rooms don’t get as good of care as the nicer rooms available. Not much near the hotel in terms of activities/restaurants and you need to walk 10-20 minutes. or take transit to get anywhere of note. It works if you just need a place to sleep for the night. Ive stayed in cleaner and better kept motels.

Very good location. I stayed there for six nights. One day, there was no room cleaning, but the person managed to change the towels and take out the trash. And the only complaint to make was about having cockroaches. Mainly in the kitchen area, there were even cockroaches inside the microwave. I wasn't afraid, so it was fine, but it must be agreed that it was the only bad thing.

I stepped on a shard of glass left on the kitchenette floor from previous hotel guests, causing a bleeding injury. This is actually a nice hotel but the internet is awful. We were there for 5 days and most of the time the internet was unusable. We complained about it a few times and they reset it but it only worked for a few hours. Apparently it is an issue they are working on but it was never good the 5 days we were there. Other than that the place is really not bad at all.

Room was spacious with a huge bathroom. Stayed in 301 so not sure if this is standard. Next to a slightly busy road but didn't hear any traffic. Block out curtains worked a treat..very dark, which I appreciate. Handy location. Short walk from Museum Station. Buffet breakfast was delicious with tge scrambled eggs worth a special mention....yum. No complaints at all and hope to have an excuse to stay there again soon.

Excellent refurbishment under new ownership. Clean and quiet. Breakfast is good value for money. Would be 5 star except that reception seemed unable to understand my booking when I extended it and at one point locked me out of my room despite me telling them I was staying another night the previous day.

There was no reliable wi-fi except on the ground floor. I asked 3 times what the problem was and was told twice a technician would look into it. Nothing made it work for more than a free seconds. I was given different explanations for the problem; eg too many people trying to use it at the one time, and or my room was too far away? The TV also didn’t work today and again I was took a technician would come to my room but later I was took it was a problem with nearby construction work? What it really was I don’t know. Given the price I paid for my room, over $350 per night these problems are unacceptable.

We stay during new year, the location is closed to China town, world square etc… Room is in fair condition for its age and good for noise proof. We don’t really hear any noise from next door or outside. From airport train station and get off at museum station, then walk for around 10 mins. If you travel with at least 2 people, taking Uber is cheaper than train.

Won’t be staying there again. Our room wasn’t ready when we first arrived but were happy to come back later. Room still wasn’t available until almost 2.30. Breakfast wasn’t the best. Catering more for Asian clientele and no fresh fruit or yeasts etc. paid for 2 coffees at the reception and they were the worst coffees and we returned them as they were terrible. Bought 2 sandwiches from reception as we were going on a tour on our last day and there was no where to buy lunch. The sandwiches were so dry and expired tomorrow but think they had been there for sometime. We threw them out. Restaurant has limited meal options too. Very disappointing. Definitely will find somewhere else to stay when we next come to Sydney.

Convenient location and nice quiet room. Good breakfast deal on site. Disappointed that there was no bedside table on one side of queen bed. Check in desk has nowhere to easily write on check in form, and is quite cramped.

Convenient and comfortable place to stay in Sydney. The rooms were relatively large and included comfortable seating and a kitchenette. We were looking forward to the hot buffet breakfast as it was often highlighted by other travelers but we were disappointed as the breakfast was seemingly the same everyday and there was not a lot of variety. Pictures showed pancakes, waffles, and reviews mentioned eggs to order but none of these were found during our four night five day stay. The room was very well maintained and all of the the staff were excellent.
