Nice welcome, shown to our room which was spotless and nice and warm, the bed was very comfortable. Nice bathroom, soft towels and plenty of hot water. Nice evening meal in the restaurant, good selection on the menu. Breakfast menu was good, and well prepared. Nice and friendly staff..we would definitely stay again.

I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! This level of attention to detail continued throughout my stay and nothing was too much trouble. The food served on the premises was cooked to a high standard and I enjoyed all selections that I ate. I also provided constructive feedback when I felt one particular dish would have been better served on a plate instead of a wooden platter. A minor detail when considered amongst the warmth extended to residents and non residents alike. I am sure that I will return to The Salwey Arms next year, if still under the same management Team. Thank you for everything.
