A mi familia y a mi nos encanto el hotel. Es una hermosa casona antigua, remodelada con muy buen gusto y conservando su bello estilo colonial y detalles (mobiliario y fotos antiguas, el nombre de las habitaciones, etc.) que te cuentan parte de la historia familiar de los propietarios. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, muy bien equipadas y super confortables. La próxima vez me gustaría quedarme en la suite que queda frente al jardín. Igualmente el jardín esta muy cuidado y espacioso. Según su sitio web la casa data de 1825, por lo que el próximo año cumplirán 200 años, así que muchas felicidades por eso. Por todo lo anterior, lo recomiendo ampliamente, sin duda de los mejores hoteles de los que me he hospedado en San Cristóbal.

Very nice hotel in excellent location a couple of blocks from the city center. Staff was friendly, grounds were immaculate, and the room was beautiful. We felt so safe that we’d sleep with the sliding door completely open. Would definitely stay here again

Es un hotel tranquilo chico, céntrico, elegante, buena atención, las camas exquisitas, olían muy rico. Tenía plancha, café, agua, nos dieron buena información sobre tours que ahí mismo contratamos. La comida del restaurante estaba rica, el café exquisito. Cuenta con un pequeño jardín, muy bonito con sillas para relajarte con música de jazz, ahi pedimos unas copas de vino y para descansar y disfrutar de la tranquilidad que brinda la propiedad.

For my wife and I, this Hotel is a great discovery in San Cristobal de las Casas. It is a house that was transformed into a Hotel only in 2019 and then had to close due to the pandemic. . . It is a magnificent European-style house with only 11 rooms. It could very well be classified as a Boutique Hotel. The location is very close to the main square and its surroundings (La Merced neighborhood). When we return to Chiapas, to San Cristobal this will be our first option because it is a place that invites you not to leave it, or to always return.

Excelente hotel localizado en el corazon de san cristobal. Todo los sitios de interes turisticos muy accesibles a pie. Hay un sin fin de restaurantes en la vecinidad. Cuenta con estacionamento seguro y privado, solo hay que avisar al llegar para que te abran el porton. El hotel es una haciendo restaurada que parece mas hotel de lujo que una vieja casona. Hay muchos hoteles en san cristobal pero yo considedaria este la mejor opcion por la experiencia que ofrece y su hubicacion.

Nos quedamos 3 noches en la Suite Junior, el teléfono no servía ni la calefacción mal por eso. Las 2 primeras noches todo excelente sin ruido para poder descansar pero en la noche 3 llegaron huéspedes en la habitación de arriba y se escuchaba absolutamente todo, eso no fue de mi agrado ya que no se podía dormir. Pero el hotel es precioso su jardín y alrededores, el personal muy amables y atentos siempre.
Nos quedamos 3 noches en la Suite Junior, el teléfono no servía ni la calefacción mal por eso. Las 2 primeras noches todo excelente sin ruido para poder descansar pero en la noche 3 llegaron huéspedes en la habitación de arriba y se escuchaba absolutamente todo, eso no fue de mi agrado ya que no se podía dormir. Pero el hotel es precioso su jardín y alrededores, el personal muy amables y atentos siempre.

Nosotros nos hospedamos 8 días y en verdad sentíamos que llegábamos a nuestra casa, es hermoso este hotel familiar, conserva todo el estilo de una mini Hacienda de época pero remodelada con buen gusto, algunos días trabajamos en el jardín donde si funcionaba el Internet (por que en la habitación es muy lento) y está increíble la vegetación, excelente ubicación sin duda regresaría

Loved the property. Lovely staff. The only thing is I didn’t realise my bedroom had no window I could see out of. Which is not ideal for long stays of if you plan to work remotely from the room.

This property was comfortable and the staff are SO friendly and helpful. I felt safe and relaxed while there. The downsides: the room I was in got basically zero wifi, and effectively had no windows (a clerestory up top let in a little light but no air), which I find to be a bummer. The upsides: I got incredibly ill while I was staying here (NOT related to the hotel) and I was so well cared for and looked after by everyone, especially the young man who staff s the front desk overnight. I *wish* I had been well enough to take advantage of all the help this team was willing to provide in terms of finding things to do and getting out of town to see the sights. Next time!

Pros: cozy, beautiful, quiet, clean, and safe hotel (front door is always locked so you ring a bell and receptionist gets you in), and decent location (2-3 blocks away from the main pedestrian streets). Cons: hotel’s restaurant was supposed to be open only for breakfast, but most days was not open at all; walls in the rooms upstairs are thin so you can hear neighbors talking, showering, drying hair; there was no air conditioning in my room and while I didn’t really need (wasn’t too hot), I thought it’d be something good to have; wifi in the room was so slow to the point where it basically didn’t work and I used my data

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel très beau et a proximité de tout. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Osvaldo qui nous a fait découvrir l histoire de cet hôtel et le jardin avec ces différents arbres. Il a été de très bon conseil pour nos activités culinaires et autres. Si nous revenons sur san Cristobal nous reviendrons dans cet hôtel. Merci a Osvaldo et sa collègue.

Fue una experiencia maravillosa, desde que llegamos al hotel Mauricio nos hizo sentir como en casa y nos ayudó a organizar nuestros tours. Todo el personal de casa de familia es excelente, Mauricio, Vero, Monica la contadora, la gerente, el pianista Jorge quien atiende en el restaurante y todos los demás que no recuerdo su nombre nos hicieron sentir en casa. Viajé con mi mamá de 82 años quien tuvo un pequeño episodio desfavorable de salud, Monica la contadora y la gerente inmediatamente actuaron, nos calmaron, un excelente médico llegó a los 5 minutos y en la tarde ya estábamos paseando de nuevo. Excelente servicio, amabilidad y calor humano como en ningún otro lugar. Hotel casa de familia es ahora nuestra casa en el pueblo mágico de San Cristóbal y regresaremos. Lo recomiendo altamente, no me he sentido tan bien recibido en ningún otro lugar del mundo. Gracias de todo corazón!

The hotel had such a wonderful Spanish colonial feel including even the furniture, atmosphere, and architecture…. The staff were very friendly and helpful…. I scheduled several tours and rides from the front desk…. They primarily spoke Spanish, but when I showed them the Google translate app, they immediately downloaded it, and were always ready to converse with me when I had a question….Very close to the center if that’s where you want to be…..

Es un hotel tranquilo chico, céntrico, elegante, buena atención, las camas exquisitas, olían muy rico. Tenía plancha, café, agua, nos dieron buena información sobre tours que ahí mismo contratamos. La comida del restaurante estaba rica, el café exquisito. Cuenta con un pequeño jardín, muy bonito con sillas para relajarte con música de jazz, ahi pedimos unas copas de vino y para descansar y disfrutar de la tranquilidad que brinda la propiedad.

Overall the service was very good, but the towels, bath mats, and pillowcases were very worn, and when I was drying my back, a towel in poor condition tore and I had to pay $250 pesos for it.
