This is our second stay at this La Quinta and we have been very happy with the room quality, the cleanliness, the convenience to main roads in Jonesboro therefore easy access to ASU and shopping. The breakfast is great - eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, and waffles. The exercise room has great weight and cardio options.

When checking in the front guy had to charge me a $100 security deposit..WHY..The hallways had a funky smell.need to get different pillows those down feather pillows go flat..i came down to eat breakfast at 6:20am looked in the trays mabey 2 scoop of eggs and 1 sausage patty....really...and the pool looked like green swamp water

The room was great, large but the bed was horrible felt like a slab. And they had air freshener coming through the vents that had our allergies giving us fits. The breakfast had biscuits and gravy but they had added so much water to it, it was soup. The gym was really equipped well, but the light would shut off after 5 minutes. Very annoying. It had the potential of being a good hotel. But we won't stay there again.

It was a nice, clean room. Good supply of towels and hot water.. The breakfast was excellent: plenty of options and good quality. Gotchas: Checkin was fairly slow. I think some people were not happy when they were told about thr $150 deposit . The elevator is too small, making it very difficult to roll in large luggage cart. The only remedy I can see is to use smaller carts. My wife detected a odor in the room like sweat or musty. The mini-frtdge was not cold. My wife set its control higher, but it took a long time to cool. No option for bath. There was low flow coming from the shower head. No grab bars on shower. The wi-fi was poor -- trouble downloading a file onto our tablet. The stopper on the basin does not rise enough; this can be easily adjusted by a maintenance person. I was very pleased that a Bible was present.

We always enjoy our stay at this hotel. It's clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's right off the highway so easy access and there are plenty of restaurants and such nearby. The gym is great! And the breakfast is too.

The POOL IS NOT WORKING!!! Just keep that in mind before you book here. The kids were looking forward to the pool but nope. Always call the hotel before you book it. Learned that the hard way this time. Other than that, everything else was nice and clean.

The staff was courteous and professional. The room smelled when i walked into it. I addressed with the desk attendant. He sprayed the room. No soap to wash my hands and the shower was dirty. The breakfast was good. I found a roach in the sink of hotel bathroom. I will not be staying there again. Improvements need to be made in cleanliness of rooms. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We checked in and was given room 207, once we were in the room it smelled very bad and had a musty feel to it. The bedding had obvious stains. Went to the front desk to be moved to another room, we were given room 211. When we got into that room it was hot and muggy, found out the air conditioning didn't work. Went to the front desk once again to be moved the third time and was given room 222. Found two bugs which we couldn't identify and there were marks on the wall that couldn't be cleaned. Attempted to use the iron in the room but it didn't work. Had to go to the front desk to request another iron, the replacement iron didn't work either. Had to go across the street to use the laundromat to dewrinkle clothing. Once i checked out I informed the front desk of all the issues and requested a refund but was denied, being that Expedia is a third party company. I wouldn't recommend this Laquinta at all. Multiple times in the elevator we came across individuals that seemed to be living in the hotel that were obviously strung out and high on some kind of substance and also smelled of alcohol.

Room smelled musty when we first walked in, but it wasn’t bad enough to disrupt our stay (we got used to it pretty quickly). Beds & pillows were comfortable, the AC worked, and the shower was clean and in good condition. Plenty of lights & outlets. Would stay again.

The hotel itself is nice, and seems newer. We did not notice the issues until later that evening. 1.) The hotels wash cloths had pubes imbedded in the rags. This could have been a previous customers facial hair, but it was definitely short coarse hair, like it was shaved off. 2.) When getting into bed, I felt something poke me under the comforter. I roll it back to find a finger nail in the bed. It was a fake nail, like one of the glue ons. 3.) We noticed a stain above our heads that night that looked similar to a poop stain. We don't know for sure what it was but after the other to instances, we wouldn't be shocked if it was a poop stain. We regret we did not take pictures, but we spent most of our time away from the hotel and were only there to sleep.

This was the worst experience we've ever had. The assigned rooms was stripped by Housekeeping and not prepared for guests. We waited 45 minutes for a room change; the window in that room was barely hanging onto the frame, it sounded like we were sleeping on the Interstate. The lobby was full of guests waiting for rooms to be prepared, I saw 3 walk out for other accommodations while the front desk agent was putting pillowcases and towels in our reassigned room. This was awful.

terrible, dirty rooms, put into 2 rooms that were not ready, laundry facilities out of order…..I needed wifi for business and had to go down the road to mcdonald’s to use High speed wifi for 4 nights. The wifi at the hotel is worse than dial up. They should take wifi off thier website. Will never stay at la quinta after this experience. Total trash hotel.

Seeing my husband and I lived 50 miles from property we were unable to stay sadly. We did not know this. The hotel has a rule that any guest staying within 50 miles from hotel cannot stay. The receptionist was really kind though and we got a refund. Just think the rule is crazy.

I live in the city so when i got there i was not allowed to even check in. I booked this for my daughter's 16th b-day celebration and it was almost ruined because we were turned away when we got there. The lady at the front desk was nice and made sure everything was canceled but i wish i had known abt that rule before i booked it and wasted my time going there. Had to do a last minute scramble to find other accommodations and then call parents with a change of venue. Also, the check in was at 3 but their website says 4 so we wasted an additional hour for nothing. That needs to be changed on the website and it needs to be made clearer when trying to book this place that you can't live within 50 miles of it. Would have saved me time and money cause i had to spend an extra $50 to find a last minute replacement. 10 out 10 would NOT RECOMMEND....

Front desk canceled our reservation as we attempted to check in because they said we lived to close to the hotel. I would have been ok with that if it was disclosed before accepting my reservation and pre-payment (they did refund after a long support call with hotels.com)

Check in was very slow. Room was clean and bed was comfortable but I had a hard time sleeping as the road noise from the interstate kept waking me up all night. Then at 5 am the noise from people in the hall and doors closing woke me up and I couldn’t get back to sleep. Also, eggs, gravy and potatoes had a ton of pepper in them making them way too spicy to eat. Won’t be staying at this location again.
