A special inn with a busy restaurant / bar adds unique experience to visit the Stonehenge.

We loved it! If I didn’t put all five stars it’s because a few things need tweaking (no coat hangers, no dish soap, wonky heater). But these are details: the substance was that my children, my partner and I stayed in a fun, great shepherds hut. In an in that offered a varied menu and that had in the garden a fun bus: an old bus that the kids loved. All this at the minimal possible distance from Stonehenge. And the sun was even shining! What more!

The woman dealing with our check in was quite rude. But she also said she was leaving soon. No loss. The rest of the team were amazing and the food was surprisingly great. There was a party on in the evening and we thought it may keep us awake, but it all stopped by midnight and we had a good nights sleep. We would have liked to have had breakfast there, but they don’t provide it.

Absolutely LOVED the Stonehenge theme! Loved the little park and the mural in our room! The restaurant was quite good and well priced. My kids loved playing on the bus after eating.

Me and my partner had an excellent stay, the shepherds hut was really beautiful. Jenny the host was amazing and very accompanying. Really nice lady. Tele and netflix in the cabin, nice little bathroom and comfy bed. Well insulated with extra heaters. A few minutes from stonehenge and salisbury town and we visited both. Food in the pub was good value and really tasty, bottomless coffee which is a bonus! Highly recommend this place for both couples and families.

Fantastic welcome, clean unit, lovely food in the actual pub, service with a smile even when it was just us left there, towards the end of the evening. Would highly recommend.

Lovely stay on the whole, good for families. Great fun bus and novel mini Stonehenge, my son loved both. Food pretty good. 2 minor things, they ran out of teabags at breakfast and need more shelves / places to store things in the bathroom, ended up storing things on the floor, not very hygienic.

Exactly what I expected: an old property that has clearly been loved and with owners that seem to care, has the basics and they do their best. It was clean and no frills but truly close to Stonehenge which made getting there for an early start a lot easier. No noise issues from the restaurant/pub below for us.

Great fun. A very nice refurbishment of a shepherd's hut, was really cosy inside. Excellent nights sleep, the mattress was nice and firm. The pub was nice as well, served food and showed sports. Highly recommended for a short trip or stopover.

Great place with kids as they have a bus turned into a play area. Dinner and drinks were also great. Unfortunately our room had a plumbing issue and the water pipes made a loud sound every 4-5 minutes all night long. We barely slept as a result which made for a very long travel day the following day.

It was an experience. It was a functional room near Stonehenge, which is what we wanted. The tv plug did not reach the outlet, the shower curtain and window shades werent secured to the walls and fell easily (they were on tension rods), beds weren't great. Men's toilet in the pub downstairs was filthy. But it was also fine? It got the job done.

The room was rather small and the windows opened over the garbage area behind the pub. Thankfully, it didn't smell. The room itself was clean, but the bathroom was a bit dirty. If you are going to Stonehenge, the location really can't be beat.

Very nice stay, super quick service, extremely clean and comfortable facilities

The staff were very friendly, however, I stayed for seven days and my tea and coffee were never topped up. My toilet paper not replaced, so I don’t think they actually ever checked my room. The room was a bit stuffy with a bit of mild on the window panes.

Do not stay here!! It is dirty, bugs in the bedsheets, dirty towels, we complained and were refused a refund or alternative accommodation and had to go elsewhere at huge expense. Unbelievably rude and I actually can't believe this place is allowed to run as a business. The pictures of the shepherds huts were very deceiving, they are run down and smelly and generally grubby.

The place is nice and cozy. It’s just the toilet flush was difficult to flush. There’s a technique to flush the toilet.

It’s was a very pretty shepherds hut. The staff where lovely.

Quirky place to stay. Very little space, the pictures online make it look much bigger than it is and that’s ok as you’d expect in a converted carriage but for the money you pay it’s not a lot of room at all. Doesn’t even include breakfast! If you like quirky and it’s a short stay it’s ok.

The room was very comfortable

It had the most unique decor of any hotel room I have ever stayed in. We stayed in room#4. In the area of the room with the full size bed, next to the bed was a table with lamp on and a tray with glasses, mugs and stuff to make tea. The bottle for water was empty other than 25 ml of water. The other side of the bed had a table with fan. In the room there is only one outlet....to the wall near the foot of the bed, yet there are three devices to plug in. Getting out of bed I kicked the tray of glasses. We ended up using the extension cord for the tv to plug in Our phones. In the other room, there are outlet plates near the twin beds. With no AC and the temps in the 20's (celcius) we placed the fan on top of a suitcase and open the window to move some air. I didn't realize there was no longer breakfast served as part of the room. When I asked about it, the staff pointed out some juice boxes, prepackaged oateal cups, cereal boxes with no milk, or croissant in a bag. Our bathroom had nowhere to lay clothes or toiletries or a towel except a single hook on the door. The bathroom door lock is a little janky and gives you a feeling off panic that you are trapped in the bathroom. Also if you are over 6 foot tall you have to sit sideways on the toilet. The light in the bathroom initially cones on with one dim bulb, if you stay on there long enough it will get brighter with a second bulb coming on? The shower curtain also falls down easily. Beds are stiff and low.

Only issue was the shower head would not rise. Was forced to take a shower bent down. Room 2

Older property but very nice! Staff are very friendly and parking was directly across the street!

This place is great! They have thought of everything. If you want a true Englinn inn experience, then this is it. The staff was fantastic as well.

The only 2 good things about this place were the dog friendly atmosphere and the nice bath towels. There were no hand towels or face cloths, the shower did not drain, 2 of the 4 cups left for us were dirty and the hair dryer fused when I turned it on. The mattresses felt about 2 inches thick (thin?) and I could not get comfortable all night. But the staff were friendly if not too helpful. We are disabled seniors and had to carry our own bags up two long flights of stairs.

Lovely little huts and adventure for me and my family. The only slight issue was the bottom bunks were a little uncomfortable. It was very well located and easy to find. We had a lovely stay

Location okay but run down. Food menu not healthy. Hot breakfast was appalling.

Friendly staff. A cooked breakfast would be better but they dobt provide. Food wasnt that great in pub in the evenibg lacked flavour and needed spices,even a bit of garlic abd chilli sauce to give the veggie chilli aome flavour .
