I’m glad they told us about locking the cupboards, because a raccoon visited us on our second night!

What a wonderful escape from the Big Smoke. The opportunity to forestbathe was so appreciated. Our tent was so spacious and comfortable. We even had a massive downpour one night but were cozy, warm and dry - it was great to hear the rain on the tent. Basic cooking gear provided = colander, cast iron skillet & dutch oven. If you want other equipment, bring it. Basic utensils as well; coffee mugs, glasses, plates & side dishes. The outdoor shower was so refreshing!!! Composting outhouse is the best. Zero odor! Bring folding chairs so you can go sit by your firepit and at the end of the dock. The number of birds in the area was spectacular - a pure cacophony of tweets! We will be back. Laura & Bret
