Relaxing resort a few minutes away from Ubud town centre, away from the traffic of Ubud. Amazing retreat, the whole resort is amazing and the staff, are even better. From check in to check out, everyone smiles, knows your name and can’t do enough to make sure you are comfortable. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a pool, it was huge and had everything you could need. The resort has 2 other infinity pools with great views across Ubud. Breakfast is at the main restaurant and has great variety for the everyone, meat and veg options. We had a lovely dinner at the main restaurant and also had dinner at their BBQ evening on the rooftop restaurant, amazing views from there. They operate a regular shuttle to and from Ubud town centre. My children and I loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ubud. Thank you to everyone at the resort for your great hospitality, we were sad to leave.

This was one of the best hotels I stayed at during my trip throughout Asia, truly excellent! The location in the jungle right next to central Ubud was perfect for exploring the island; the staff was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming; the room was impeccable, with a supernice, deep-soak bathtub, and a great view of the jungle and pool; the pool was beautiful; the massages, included as part of my reservation, were also great; and the food was, by far, the best I had in Bali. You truly can't beat it; can't wait to stay there again next time I'm in Bali!

Hotellet er stort og virker velstelt. hyggelig personale. Maten på restauranten er helt grei men ikke noe mer enn det. Hotellet ligger ett godt stykke ifra Ubud sentrum og du er avhengig av transport hvis du ønsker å gjøre noe annet enn å være på hotel område. Prisene på mat og drikke er høye og du har ingen annen mulighet for servering hvis du ikke reiser inn til byen. Hotellet har gratis transport til/fra byen men denne stopper relativt tidlig så hvis du ønsker å spise middag ett annet sted enn den dyre hotell restauranten så må du betale for taxi selv. Basseng område var fint men kunne med fordel vært større. Vi var der i lavsesongen og det var MYE anleggsarbeidet på hotellet og prisene burde vært justert iforhold til dette eventuelt informert gjestene ved bestilling om at det var en byggeplass man bestilte rom på.

From the time we arrived at Arkamara to the time we left, we were made to feel special and welcome. The care and service that people working there provide us is top notch. The food at the restaurant, spa service, room service and front desk were extraordinary. We will definitely go back there next time we visit Bali. Special shout out to - Indiri, Vini, Ratna, Puja, Yanti, Ketut, Dyna, Santi, Mita ❤️ Above were just a few we could remember … each and every one there were great!!!!

This property was amazing. The views from the pool and the rooftop were incredible. But I must say that what made this stay special was the staff. My wife and I came for our honeymoon, and they went out of their way to make it special. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. The food was also great, and so was the spa.

Staff welcomed us with open arms, they were very friendly and answered any questions we had. Every time we saw them they gave us a warm welcome and asked us if we needed anything. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they decorated our bed with a “happy birthday” message and the brought out a surprise birthday cake for her at the restaurant. Best service I have had at a hotel ever. We were treated like kings and queens. I could write an entire essay of how staff went above and beyond for us. Food was amazing, the included breakfast was very filling and had lots of options to choose from. The drinks were very tasty as well. I recommend trying the floating breakfast one day. The events each day at the restaurants on the resort had a great variety of Balinese culture and music. The pool was very warm and had a great view of the jungle. We received a massage at the spa onsite and it was well worth it. The staff made us feel very relaxed and “at home” The resort was very clean, beds were so comfy and the room service was incredible. If you’re in Ubud I highly recommend staying at the Arkamara. My girlfriend and I do not have one complaint. If your looking for a quiet relaxing resort with friendly staff, great views, beautiful rooms with comfy beds, great food and great service the Arkamara is the place for you. This resort should be a “6-star”

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The property is beautiful. The staff is friendly and personable. What we love most was the serenity of the property and its seclusion. The room was a Large. We stayed in vila so we had our own pool. The restaurant on the property was inviting and the food for the most part was very good. They were a few dishes We weren’t Keen of only because it’s not what we were used to being Western. There was construction going on at one of the buildings, but it was not something you could see unless you went up to that building. The pool was a little cool I’m just a person who does not like cols pools. The spa on the premises was convenient and we had no issues booking spa treatments when we wanted to. overall we plan to come back and stay at this establishment!

The villas are absolutely gorgeous and we would highly recommend staying at one if you can . This has been our first time traveling to Bali and it will not be our last. Staff welcomed us with open arms, they were very friendly and answered any questions we had. Every time we saw them they gave us a warm welcome and asked us if we needed anything. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they decorated our bed with a “happy birthday” message and the brought out a surprise birthday cake for her at the restaurant. Best service I have had at a hotel ever. We were treated like kings and queens. I could write an entire essay of how staff went above and beyond for us. Food was amazing, the included breakfast was very filling and had lots of options to choose from. The drinks were very tasty as well. I recommend trying the floating breakfast one day. The events each day at the restaurants on the resort had a great variety of Balinese culture and music. The pool was very warm and had a great view of the jungle. We received a massage at the spa onsite and it was well worth it. The staff made us feel very relaxed and “at home” The resort was very clean, beds were so comfy and the room service was incredible. If you’re in Ubud I highly recommend staying at the Arkamara. My girlfriend and I do not have one complaint. If your looking for a quiet relaxing resort with friendly staff, great views, beautiful rooms with comfy beds, great food and great service the Arkamara is the place for you. Relaxing resort a few minutes away from Ubud town centre, away from the traffic of Ubud. Amazing retreat, the whole resort is amazing and the staff, are even better. From check in to check out, everyone smiles, knows your name and can’t do enough to make sure you are comfortable. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a pool, it was huge and had everything you could need. The resort has 2 other infinity pools with great views across Ubud. Breakfast is at the main restaurant and has great variety for the everyone, meat and veg options. We had a lovely dinner at the main restaurant and also had dinner at their BBQ evening on the rooftop restaurant, amazing views from there. They operate a regular shuttle to and from Ubud town centre. My children and I loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ubud. Thank you to everyone at the resort for your great hospitality, we were sad to leave.

From the time we arrived at Arkamara to the time we left, we were made to feel special and welcome. The care and service that people working there provide us is top notch. The food at the restaurant, spa service, room service and front desk were extraordinary. We will definitely go back there next time we visit Bali. This property was amazing. The views from the pool and the rooftop were incredible. But I must say that what made this stay special was the staff. My wife and I came for our honeymoon, and they went out of their way to make it special. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. The food was also great, and so was the spa.

This was one of the best hotels I stayed at during my trip throughout Asia, truly excellent! The location in the jungle right next to central Ubud was perfect for exploring the island; the staff was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming; the room was impeccable, with a supernice, deep-soak bathtub, and a great view of the jungle and pool; the pool was beautiful; the massages, included as part of my reservation, were also great; and the food was, by far, the best I had in Bali. You truly can't beat it; can't wait to stay there again next time I'm in Bali!

Hotellet er stort og virker velstelt. hyggelig personale. Maten på restauranten er helt grei men ikke noe mer enn det. Hotellet ligger ett godt stykke ifra Ubud sentrum og du er avhengig av transport hvis du ønsker å gjøre noe annet enn å være på hotel område. Prisene på mat og drikke er høye og du har ingen annen mulighet for servering hvis du ikke reiser inn til byen. Hotellet har gratis transport til/fra byen men denne stopper relativt tidlig så hvis du ønsker å spise middag ett annet sted enn den dyre hotell restauranten så må du betale for taxi selv. Basseng område var fint men kunne med fordel vært større. Vi var der i lavsesongen og det var MYE anleggsarbeidet på hotellet og prisene burde vært justert iforhold til dette eventuelt informert gjestene ved bestilling om at det var en byggeplass man bestilte rom på.

The hotel is a drive into the main city center, giving you the feeling of seclusion and respite from the busyness that is Ubud. The staff helped accommodate cars, food, travel and tours… all with a smile! The most kind and lovely staff work here! And the daily breakfast was so delicious!

Staff welcomed us with open arms, they were very friendly and answered any questions we had. Every time we saw them they gave us a warm welcome and asked us if we needed anything. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they decorated our bed with a “happy birthday” message and the brought out a surprise birthday cake for her at the restaurant. Best service I have had at a hotel ever. We were treated like kings and queens. I could write an entire essay of how staff went above and beyond for us. Food was amazing, the included breakfast was very filling and had lots of options to choose from. The drinks were very tasty as well. I recommend trying the floating breakfast one day. The events each day at the restaurants on the resort had a great variety of Balinese culture and music. The pool was very warm and had a great view of the jungle. We received a massage at the spa onsite and it was well worth it. The staff made us feel very relaxed and “at home” The resort was very clean, beds were so comfy and the room service was incredible. If you’re in Ubud I highly recommend staying at the Arkamara. My girlfriend and I do not have one complaint. If your looking for a quiet relaxing resort with friendly staff, great views, beautiful rooms with comfy beds, great food and great service the Arkamara is the place for you. This resort should be a “6-star”

Excellent place to stay, we was very well looked after! I would only score it down for the breakfast as it was just okay and we was alittle out the way of Ubud centre. Other than that it was great!

We only stayed for 3 days, but was tempted to add a day and reorganize our trip a bit. We tried out the spa, the restaurant, the pool, and the rooftop bar. Everything was wonderful and the staff were helpful.
