Liked the whole experience. However, gym floor was not maintained. No hand sanitizer off elevator, no soap in gym bathroom, no cups for water machine in gym. Also no beeper for tv in conference room. Please please handle the gym. I did ask Billy to put cups up there. It didn't happen. I was there 5 days and used the gym every day. Josephine Pook

The hotel was run down and had misleading photos of site. The outdoor lounge area was a small balcony with an old small table and 2 old chairs. No gym… a vacant room with paint tins in it. No cafe bar …. Just another empty room. Definitely would not have booked if I’d seen the state the hotel was in. The photos showed a stylish funky place!!!

Modern design with funky artwork outside and throughout the building. The facility offers modern amenities such as Gym, Library, WiFi & has a restaurant and a rooftop bar. Located in the valley within walking distance to the train station with lots of transport options available nearby. Highly recommend and will be staying here whenever I am in Brisbane.

Lovely hotel in a great location on the valley. As a suggestion it would be nice if the minibar contents were in the room rather than reception but reception was very helpful. Would stay here again.

Great trendy hotel for a great price. Check in was easy and pleasant. Main complaint was the parking was a block away and the lifts out were on the other side, making it two blocks back to the hotel. I arrived at 8pm and it really was not great to have to walk back by myself that late. The street itself is not great and I felt a little unsafe. Also no on site restaurant or bar for room service. I felt the marketing was a little deceptive. On the website it looks like it has a roof top bar and restaurant, but they are on neighbouring properties and were not open on a Monday night. I had to order from a restaurant and even though it was close by, the delivery took an hour. Really wish I could have gotten room service. No microwave in the room either.

Check in was friendly, quick and easy. The location was great, close to lots of dinning spots and bars. The room was nice enough and comfortable enough, my only complaint was that the bathroom smelt a bit like sewerage. It wasn’t enough to smell with the door closed, but enough to notice while in the bathroom. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

A terrible hotel in every way. Bad service at check-in, sketchy neighborhood, tiny and ill equipped room with no closet or drawers and very dirty room. Stained quilt, gum left on headboard. Unusable bathroom with flooding shower. Seriously one of the worst hotels I’ve ever experienced in my 50 years of world travel.

Towels were removed, unnecessarily, after one night, and not replaced with fresh ones, until I made a request to the front desk. The room was cramped, nowhere to unpack or store a suitcase, no ledges in the bathroom to store things, and the bed was also too small: it seemed like a regular double bed and I'm sure I booked a Queen size. The room also cost much more and was less satisfactory than places I've recently stayed in Melbourne: it compared poorly in value for money. Finally: nowhere to eat breakfast and no food in the room. One good thing: the people at the desk were nice, and helpful.

Cant adjust the A/C. Could not get it cool enough to be comfortable (room would not cool below 23°c. Was told it’s locked out to be energy efficient. Other than that room was ok, won’t be back tho.

Really excellent stay! Rooms were well sized, with comfortable beds and pillows and a rain shower (at least in the King room). Staff were all wonderful, in particular the housekeeper on floor one who was particularly lovely!

Overall The Constance was great. The staff were friendly and efficient and the location is super handy there are just a few things for travellers to be aware of - the room is very compact (everything you need is included but it is very small) and even though great measures have been taken by the hotel to minimise the noise, it was still very loud (until around 3am). But I guess that’s what you get when choosing a hotel right in the heart of the Valley.

Great facilities. Only downside was the shower nozzle kept falling down. Could hear the music at night but was warned about this (wasn’t an issue, the music was great!). Comfy bed and absolutely lovely staff.

The hotel and room were great! The bed was very comfy and the blackout curtains were an excellent touch. It's located near quite a few restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as a few markets. I took a brief walk to there from the train station. Georgia, at the front desk, was extremely friendly and had many recommendations.

I loved the room but had a bad experience regarding the parking. The staff told me i had received an email detailing the parking available around the hotel. The email was never sent. The staff member never re-sent the email after I asked to see the details. I was staying alone so had to park first. Instead of $17/night uncovered parking. I paid $91. Never heard back from the hotel when trying to resolve the issue. I was devastated. I have severe anxiety and this was an awful experience.

Chrishelle on the reception was excellent and very helpful, always with a smile on her face. The other reception staff were also very helpful and friendly but I got to know Chrishelle well. My only gripe was that, as an international traveller, I had to use adaptor plugs which had the problem of turning the plug sockets off if I plugged them in fully. Also, there were no USB sockets near the bed (I did not see the USB sockets underneath the desk in the room). A recommendation would be to include a more comfortable chair in the room as this is supposed to be a double room but it only has one chair. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat even more so if it had a breakfast service.

We were excited to visitand then it stopped dramatically. All we could here were jackhammers. Upon arrival to our room we had a double and not a twin as requested. I go back down stairs and reception were arguing that I booked a Double, no, here is the booking from Expedia. Reception reallocate a new room, my friend takea the bags and walks into a room that was occupied ! He goes back downstairs with our luggage and allocated a new room (without guests). The sound proofing was bad considering we were on the Osbourne Hotel side of the hotel and their music goes until 3am (not ideal for sleep even with earplugs). The bathroom had no available space for 2 wetpacks, not space in shower to put your products, the toilet seats should be slow close (even cinemas have these). 2 Towels for 2 ppl, we are accustomed to 2 towels per person as someone always needs to wash their hair. In saying this, the bed was comfortable and rooms clean. A few small going forward would make the stay more pleasant. Location was great, close to great wine bars, food. But we wont stay their again! We are seasoned travellers and cost didnt stack up to what was on offer.

Approximately 3 hours after checkout our room was accessed by staff. A tap on the door them the door was opened and a man walked in, complaint was made immediately but in resolution. The next morning at approx 8:40am the same thing occurred again but it was house keeping stating we had checked out already, this was now the second time our privacy was compromised, a complaint was made formally via email but no resolution. Recommend NOT to stay there

The staff here at checkin were very helpful and caring. They let me know that parking zone finished at 4pm and to park car first. Lobation is central and the rooms are modern with an artistic flair.

Hotel is nice and modern, the area is hip, with lots of dining options, awhile be best for a younger crowd who is more on the party side. If you stay on a Friday or Saturday be prepared to hear the dance club next door until the early hours of the morning. Otherwise nice hotel in a convenient location

Great property as it was so close to work. Area surrounding is less than desirable, but in saying that, I made sure to stay to well lit areas. Close to immunities such as supermarket and train station. Hotel is quirky!

The Constance is a quirky little property that was reasonably priced for a very short stay. It was a 5-minute walk to Fortitude Valley Music Hall, which was great. There are loads of interesting food outlets nearby by. I'm sorry to say I dropped my brand new, full bottle of foundation on the bathroom floor - It smashed and the contents went everywhere on the tiles. I tried to clean it up - sorry, whoever had to clean the rest up!

The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to my questions, it made my trip so much easier to coordinate. The room’s look and feel was vibrant and super comfortable with high end finishings. Cute coffee shop just next door and other great dining options within east walking distance.
