Over all services and condition was great, especially 2'nd floor snack bar was great. But room is not spacious as I expect. No room service available nor room snack bar. Laundry service provided as self-service but not enough machine especially dryer. Easily accessible from MRT station.

建物はレトロ風だが部屋の動線は機能的な造りだと思います。 共有スペースは十分な広さ(一部キッズルームあり)があります。こちらは24時間使えお菓子、飲物、カップ麺が豊富にあり、洗濯機と乾燥機まであり役立ちました。 周辺は飲食店やマッサージ店がたくさんあります。台北駅や空港線駅までも徒歩可能です。 フロント横にアメニティ準備ありますが、部屋着は無いので持参しましょう。 トイレについて紙は流せないです。 お土産をまとめて注文したり、行列人気店の朝ごはんを届けてくれるサービス等もあるみたいです。 またこちらに来たいと思います！

Super friendly staff, clean facilities, comfy room. Not your 5 star, but price wise punches above its class. Most of all, location can’t be beat, and the amenities came in clutch.

The Cho is very conveniently located. The hotel reminds me of a dormatory. The room was listed with a balcony, there was none but did have a huge picture window. Bed was springy and sheets were stained. WiFi went out a lot for long periods. They don’t want people flushing toilet paper. Free snacks and drinks on the second floor and umbrellas are at the main door which was helpful for rainy days.

Old building that is used as a hotel. Feels more like a backpacker’s accommodation. Laundry facilities is a plus but the dryer is a choke point as there are only 2 units and they are not enough for the guests to share.

Staff was friendly and helpful. One day I found out one drier was not working. I went to talk with a staff whose name is Anna about this. She told me she would ask technician to look into the issue. Then I went out to have some food. After I returned, she told me they replaced with a new drier. What a great service.

Nice clean hotel Bathroom was great size room small but bed was comfortable On second floor had communal room with micro wave but the surprise was all the snacks and coffee and tea facilities one evening there were even sandwiches(may me because it was chinese new year or maybe the rest of stay didnt have them because they were all eaten or it was holidays after new year)but snick supply was very generous Staff were helpful but language got in the way sometimes Tea and fridge in room Washers and dryers but dryers did the motions but took hours to dry Overall good location and would have no problems to recommend

Love the snack lounge and the laundry! They have everythign you need detergent, hot/cold water, drink options, snacks etc. They also offer referral for cab services, tours, sourvine

I enjoyed my stay Cho Hotel. There are great facilities available such as kitchenette area on the 2nd floor. My room was well insulated from road traffic noise so sleeping wasn't an issue. Ximending is also a short walk over.

Sometimes room smelled of drainage. Surroundings great though.

Utterly confused by the many positive reviews. The rooms smell like mold and mildere everywhere, the room is very dirty overall. Bathroom smells like old feet. Truly disappointed

Always a pleasure to stay here. Rooms are very clean, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed and very friendly staff.

整體尚可，離車站略有點距離，員工服務好及專業。 唯一最大問題是浴巾替換新時都發現污積，被單清潔尚可，第三天因移動被子時嚇見被子上有大片血積，即時不敢再用我住的是216房，希望清潔被單時亦需加強清潔被子。 最後，每間房的壁畫雖美，但繪畫太多的人臉確實令房間氣氛有點恐怖，建議可以多畫台灣風景感覺較好

旅店整體感觀不錯，職員有禮，房務亦配合要求。還有飲料杯麵小吃提供。唯一缺點是淋浴間沒浴簾等，洗澡時水會弄濕廁所位。另外建議旅店處理一下浴室發霉的情況，始終發霉會影響觀感。

I made my reservation through Expedia using my Amex. It seems like the hotel doesn’t take Amex. The hotel reached out last minute saying they will cancel my reservation unless I provide another payment method. I had to give them my credit card details via email. In terms of the actual stay, I could barely sleep for 4 nights because of poor sound proofing. The door did not block any noise at all. I could hear everything and every conversation happening in the hallway. The room also wasn’t that clean - there were strands of hair and other dirt in the room. Amenities like snack bar and free laundry are great but good luck using the dryer as it is always occupied.

The room is quite old and small and a bit smelly.

Well, it’s probably my fault for booking this one. Wanted a place with some character and a little different from the regular ‘chains’ I am usually using while traveling for work. However, it wasn’t to my standards as it’s probably a place that is more suitable for backpackers or hostel type crowd. Also a little misleading in their description … From a “Welcome drink” that never happened to “city view” room that faces a wall … to a room with no closet and no safe. Everything is very basic. (And I did book the most upgraded room) Location is good, staff is young and friendly Again, it is what it is - just not for me.

Great location, amenities, and staff. Beware the rooms are small and the bed is hard (Japanese style with mattress on the floor).

great stay! It’s more like an elevated hostel. Location is great and staff is nice. Rooms are clean but small but the bathroom is large. Only complaint is that the walls are very thin and you can hear everything.

Room was tiny, bed was not comfortable and most importantly, the aircon was blasting directly towards the direction of the bed. The aircon remote wasn’t working well and you can adjust the angle of the aircon vent.

It is a very cute boutique hotel with free laundry service and access to snacks and ramen on 2nd level. You can also purchase select souvenirs via the hotel. However, the room is very small with hardly much room to move about when the luggage is opened. And you can hear the guests outside the hotel room. As the property is old, you cannot flush the toilet paper down and have to throw it in a bin. Hotel is about 5 to 10 mims waëk to Ximen exit 1. Will not recommend for those who do not want to walk.

Small rooms, but really pleasant and stylish experience

Cho Hotel had great amenities, great value and great service! Couldn’t have asked for anything else!

Wonderfully helpful staff, great location and everything you need to enjoy your stay in taiepei.

It was an amazing experience. It was Mama and Papa Asia Trip. From Singapore to Thailand to Taiwan. Of course not all planned vacation is perfect. So on our way to Taipei we couldn’t make the flight from Hongkong ( layover). I immediately called Cho Hotel and explained what happened. I was speaking to Haru who is very accommodating and understanding. With no hesitation she told me that she will talk to her supervisor about the situation and will get back with me. It didn’t took that long for her to respond. She did above and beyond with my reservations. Special shout out to Haru’s supervisor for approving our request. Sorry we didn’t get the chance to meet as we have the tour the next day. That didn’t end there. As we checked in we were greeted with the warmest welcome by Haru and Anna. And guest what we even got upgraded room how amazing was that. They are the friendliest hotel staff we encountered throughout our Asia trip. Now let me talk about the hotel. If you’re into boutique style this is your best place. Each corner of this hotel is very unique with all their boutique decor. From the lobby to your room. Did I mention that they have washer and dryer for free. All you need to do is bring you dirty clothes and laundry them. Also did I mention they have unlimited snacks on the second floor. It’s filled with varieties of ramen, juices, ice cream, cookies, chips, etc.Checking out was smooth thanks to Anna. I highly recommend this Hotel. We’re definitely coming back.

这家酒店服务真的很好! 住在这里这几天都感觉很舒服，很方便! 柜台服务人员也很好，今早我的行李箱里面拉链出问题，服务员也顺利帮我解决了! 还有一位服务员名字叫Neon ，他还帮我们提行李到车上，好棒的服务! 我们都很满意! 以后会再来。

The Cho hotel exceeded our expectations with its exceptionally clean and comfortable bed and room. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, exuding a vintage vibe that perfectly matched the hotel’s aesthetic. I particularly enjoyed the second level, where complimentary snacks and instant noodles were available. I want to give special recognition to Haru, one of the staff members, for her quick assistance in arranging airport transfer when another booking was suddenly unavailable. Her thoughtfulness and care for our safety during a rushed situation were greatly appreciated. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

This property is very near to mall and food area

The staff was amazing. Great location and walkable to lots of food and shopping. Walkable to Red House and neighborhood bars.

歩いて西門駅まで5〜10分、台北駅まで20〜30分ぐらいで便利でした。

Cho Hotel is in a centralized location with many walkable night markets nearby. It's also a short walk away from the train stations so it's super easy to get around town easily. The free snacks and drinks really helped when I got back super late and needed something small to nibble on like a good bowl of instant ramen or chips. Who would have thought Asparagus Juice tasted better than it sounds haha...there's also a 24-hour braised pork restaurant around the corner I had to visit many times since it was so good!

The location was super convenient, leading to the heart of ximending within a couple of minutes walking. Staff were lovely upon check in and the minibar with free noodles and free snacks was a cherry on top to rest and eat after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend this hotel if you are wanting to stay in a convenient location in Taipei!

Excellent location with loads of great restaurants nearby. Easy to get to the metro. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They even have a washing machine!

西門駅から徒歩5分程で、近くにコンビニや飲食店も多く便利な立地。部屋はユニークな造りで、室内に洗面台がありました。毎日暑かったので、洗濯機と乾燥機が無料で使えるのが非常に助かりました！また、無料のお菓子、アイス、ドリンク、カップラーメンも豊富にありました。ホテルオリジナルのポストカードを使うと、世界中どこへでも無料で発送してくれるサービスも良かったです！ 唯一、日々の清掃で、床が掃除されていなかったのとハンドシャワーの使い方が分からなかったのが残念な点でした。

ホテル内にある無料のスナックバーがとても今回の旅でお世話になりました。また、ホテルの外にはマッサージ屋、ローカルなご飯屋さん、また日本食レストランまであり過ごしやすかったです。 西門という街が若者の街ということから、日本でいう原宿のような街でした！

フロントの方々も親切で、2階の食堂は色んなドリンク、サンドイッチ、スナック、カップ麺食べ放題で、プレイルームは子どもたちも楽しんでました。 洗濯乾燥も自由に使えて、とっても利用しやすかったです！ありがとうございました！！

Great amenities and concept. The only complaint is e size of e room. But even e superior room (with windows) is smaller than average in Ximending. Our double bed was on a platform and there is hardly any space to put e 2 luggages. There is no chairs to sit/rest in e room. The free flow of soft drinks, instant noodles n tibits at e social area are great ideas though. :)
