Excelente hotel, el único detalle es la estacionada del vehículo, está a una cuadra y media del hotel. Al llegar al hotel se complica un poco la dejada del equipaje debido a que la calle del mismo está muy concurrida. El servicio y la comida, excelentes.

El concepto del Hotel está muy bien, el personal del Hotel bien. Lo malo, el ruido que hay dentro del hotel, no tienen sistema de calefacción (o por lo menos no servía en mi habitación), cucarachas en la regadera, pagué una Family Suite no lo vale, el personal del restaurante lo peor, sin experiencia y muy mala experiencia con su cocina, muy lento. Y lo peor, anuncian que tienen estacionamiento y no hay! Pagamos más de 300 pesos adicionales por día para estacionarnos, cuando está especificado que tienen en el Hotel como parte de los servicios.

Beautiful hotel with excellent food. The courtyard is a lovely place to have breakfast in the morning or dinner at night, when they light a fire creating a great ambience. Staff were great. Very good central location but the hotel itself is really calm and tranquil. Really nice toiletries provided. Excellent value for money.

Staff was very nice and accomodating. We cane back for another night. Ideal location in the city center. Parking not practical as 1 block away but still close. Laura and her colleagues at reception were fantastic and went above and beyond. Rooms are practical and large. Prefer 2nd floor for more natural light.

Un lugar increíble, sin duda es una buena opción para pasar unos días en este bello lugar, aparte de que la ubicación es excelente, no tuve la oportunidad de consumir alimentos en el lugar, pero se veían exquisitos. Todo el personal muy amable y la limpieza de las habitaciones es impecable.

En general todo excelente, el hotel de muy buena calidad, muy higiénico, personal muy amable y siempre muy atentos, el hotel se encuentra a unos metros del andador principal de San Cristóbal por lo que la ubicación es excelente.

We stayed for two full weeks. Overall, everything was okay. We booked a family room, but one of the showers didn’t have hot water. We reported it, and the staff responded promptly. Unfortunately, the reception experience was poor and not welcoming at all. From the moment we arrived, there was little effort to make us feel at home or to provide basic information about the hotel. We had heard that the hotel offered many amenities and had unique features, but no one gave us a tour or even explained what was available. What was truly surprising is that after two weeks of staying there, it was El Secreto—the restaurant of a completely different hotel next door—where someone finally took the time to explain the concept and design of our hotel. It was honestly unbelievable that an external staff member did more to inform us than the hotel’s own team. We also had a disappointing experience with the restaurant hostess when ordering room service. She asked about food allergies, and when I mentioned I was allergic to mushrooms, she laughed with the waiter, saying the dish I ordered “obviously” didn’t contain mushrooms. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful. Really, the hotel has a good reputation, but it is not worth it.

A beautifully designed hotel retaining all its colonial features. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. My superior room was comfortable, but it was external / street side so there was traffic noise from very early in the morning. I live in London and I had jet lag so it didn’t bother me. If you are a light sleeper request an internal courtyard room. The location is excellent for exploring San Cristobal.

When I came into the room the air conditioning was on… and it was a cold day outside. I tried to turn on the heat to warm it up but there is a sign that says I couldn’t until 9pm, I tried anyways but it didn’t work. I just travelled 24 hours and wanted to rest.. good thing I brought a sleeping bag because it was an ice box in the room. So I wrapped myself up and got some sleep. Then 9 o’clock rolls around.. heater doesn’t work!!! I have literally been freezing the entire time here. Horrible feeling. You should allow guests to put on heat.. that’s insane. I would not recommend or stay again for that simple reason… it was extremely uncomfortable.

Very well kept old hotel. The patio area is very well decorated. Service in restaurant and cleaning service were exceptional. The 1st room we were assigned to was large and bathroom was large, but it was to the side of the street and very noisy. Honking cars very early in the morning, car alarms going off, people yelling. Didn't get much rest. We requested to be moved and they were very accommodating. Got another room on other side of hotel, so it was very quiet. Smaller room and bathroom. Not much ventilation when corridor window was opened to let cool air in. The air conditioner is controlled by the hotel between 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m., so it got very hot at night. I would try to turn it on at 9:00 a.m., but it would not go on - had to call front desk each morning for them to come turn on. Keeping the A/C on all day was only way for room to stay comfortable during night. We like to sleep cool, so I should be able to control my own temperature in the room. Maybe if ventilation would have been better when we opened the window, that may have been enough since it does get cold at night in San Cristobal de Las Casas. All staff was very nice and provided exceptional service.

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of San Cristóbal. The staff were friendly and the place was spotless with great food. The evening street noise was a bit excessive in my first room but I was allowed to move to an interior room that was much better. There was also a problem with the internet that was not resolved during my stay of 6 days.

We stayed for two full weeks. Overall, everything was okay. We booked a family room, but one of the showers didn’t have hot water. We reported it, and the staff responded promptly. Unfortunately, the reception experience was poor and not welcoming at all. From the moment we arrived, there was little effort to make us feel at home or to provide basic information about the hotel. We had heard that the hotel offered many amenities and had unique features, but no one gave us a tour or even explained what was available. What was truly surprising is that after two weeks of staying there, it was El Secreto—the restaurant of a completely different hotel next door—where someone finally took the time to explain the concept and design of our hotel. It was honestly unbelievable that an external staff member did more to inform us than the hotel’s own team. We also had a disappointing experience with the restaurant hostess when ordering room service. She asked about food allergies, and when I mentioned I was allergic to mushrooms, she laughed with the waiter, saying the dish I ordered “obviously” didn’t contain mushrooms. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful. Really, the hotel has a good reputation, but it is not worth it.

The quietness was awesome, the hotel itself is beautiful. shoutout for Guadalupe at Tarumba Resturant and Fernando who help us with the baggages and taxi in our check out. He also have us an extra towel and water without even asking him for it.

We had a fantastic stay here. The rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and they genuinely care about your experience. The decor and ambiance fit the town perfectly and the location could not have been better. You can walk everywhere, and there are plenty of restaurant options nearby. Highly recommended and will definitely be back here.

The lobby area and patio was nice visibly, but their restaurant food wasn’t good. I stayed 4 nights and they never had Mexican bread (pan dulce) to accompany your coffee. I and my husband got really sick with a fever, chills, and food poisoning. I went to the front desk and told them and they replied that everyone gets sick when they visit that town. I had to go look for a pharmacy as they were very unhelpful and offered no support. Their concern was only to know if we ate elsewhere to blame the other restaurants. All their food is extremely condimented and everything has a sauce. I wasn’t impressed at all. The city is overrated. It dirty and most of the city has graffiti on all their homes. It didn’t feel safe at all.

We had a wonderful Time - hotel is very stylish and comfortable and the staff are fantastic - friendly and charming. The food in the restaurant was extremely good too for breakfast and dinner with local ingredients and all with the chefs little twist on things. I look forward to returning

Víctor en la recepción nos trató super bien, nos ayudó incluso con un contratiempo que tuvimos, fue muy amable y servicial. Si visitan el hotel, pregunten por él. El hotel es lindo, y etsá muy bien ubicado, justo a la vuelta del andador y a 2 cuadras de los restaurantes. Los cuartos cuentan con aire acondicionado y agua caliente, el hotel es relativamente cómodo y bien ubicado para pasear 1 o dos días por San Cristóbal.

A beautifully designed hotel retaining all its colonial features. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. My superior room was comfortable, but it was external / street side so there was traffic noise from very early in the morning. I live in London and I had jet lag so it didn’t bother me. If you are a light sleeper request an internal courtyard room. The location is excellent for exploring San Cristobal.

This hotel is located one block from one of the main “andadores” roads of the city and less than two blocks from the main plaza. Everything is close within walking distance. The area is very safe. The hotel has a lot of history and is unique. It’s architecture is very beautiful. The only thing we didn't like is that it is not quiet, one of the two nights we stayed, the other guests were very noisy.

Our first time in San Cristobal, we couldn't have picked a better hotel with a better location. Great AC and great bedding. It would've helped to have closets and/or fridge but not a deal breaker.
