It was my second stay with URSO and if I am ever back in Madrid it will be where I stay again. There is something very special about the hotel from the decor (absolutely in love with the lobby/lounge area filled with fresh flowers & beautiful ceramics) to the staff service. The little touches they provide in the room, from turn down service to sweets on your last night. I will recommend all my friends & family to stay here if they are ever in Madrid. It truly was the best part of our vacation & they even accommodated our early check in since we came in on a red eye flight & had been traveling all night long. Love the live piano nights & having tea in the lounge. My massage in the spa was lovely. Would recommend just that they elevate the buffet breakfast options, other than that everything was perfect!

Superbe hôtel en tous points. Un très bon accueil, agréable, du piano joué la journée et de l'eau qui coule sous l'escalier, qui permet une détente maximale. Le SPA est très intimiste, la réservation par créneaux permet d'être seuls. Aussi, le petit déjeuner est très bien. Tout se fait à notre demande, et c'est vraiment super bon. Enfin, mention spéciale pour la cage d'ascenseur à l'ancienne avec du bois massif, une banquette, et une double porte. Un séjour exceptionnel!!!

URSO is overrated and therefore poor value for money. Check-in was appalling - staff was rude, untrained and unhelpful. We weren’t even greeted. Asked for them to make a restaurant reservation for us and they did not even think to ask us for the restaurant name! The shower cubicle is very small for the size of the bathroom with a very awkward switch for the shower and overhead shower. The shower head was placed directly facing the door so any unsuspecting guest would have water sprayed all over themselves and the bathroom. There are much options in Madrid; certainly options that are much much better value for money. The only positive thing was the massage was good but even then the spa facilities are laughable for a hotel with spa in its name.

Beautiful lobby, excellent restaurant, great bar, and truly outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly, proactive, and professional throughout the stay. Breakfast was fresh and high quality, with both buffet and table service options. The massage treatment was very good, and cleanliness across the hotel was impeccable. Location is ideal: central yet calm at night. However, the biggest disappointment was the room. I stayed in a Deluxe Queen at nearly €500 per night and the quality did not match the price or the common areas. The design felt below average, the bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable, and the pillows caused neck pain. Bathroom fittings felt loose, shower sealing leaked water onto the floor, and overall the room experience was underwhelming for this category and rate. I stayed in much cheaper hotels with much better rooms. Pricing across the hotel is very high. €170 for a massage, cocktails close to €20, and €40 extra for spa access despite already paying premium room rates feels excessive. The spa is clean and pleasant but small and not exceptional. Overall, strong service and atmosphere, but room quality and pricing do not fully align with a luxury positioning.

This is an amazing hotel, and the staff does their best to give you the best experience. The room was really comfortable. I would return to this hotel. I enjoyed the piano time and breakfast. I only had a poor experience at the hotel restaurant over dinner, which did not match the expectations created by the high-quality hotel. I suggest looking outside for dinner.

Great location and really nice hotel — stylish and comfortable rooms. Only downside was a few surprise charges: they have a coffee machine in the room but charge for the pods (a first for me!), and spa access isn’t included (additional €35pp), even though that wasn’t mentioned on listing on Hotels.com (and trying to get hotels.com to rectify this has been a nightmare which is still ongoing). If you do want to stay here probably better to book direct if you plan to use the spa as they have rates with spa usage included.

Our hotel stay was genuinely exceptional. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Krikop (I hope I have his name correct). He not only assisted with our bags but also placed them in our room while we completed the check-in process. Liz at the bar was truly wonderful, providing some excellent recommendations. I looked forward to seeing her every time I visited for a cocktail. The receptionists were gems; they kindly gave my son a puzzle and some coloring pencils and a book. We requested a crib as soon as we arrived, and it was promptly delivered. Room service was fabulous and greatly enhanced our unpacking and settling-in experience. Housekeeping left a lasting impression; it was possibly the best service I've ever seen. Although I usually stay at Marriott properties due to my job, my family and I made an exception and truly loved our stay here. Despite some light construction noise in the morning, the overall experience was so delightful that we didn't mind the noise. Each night, we received a thoughtful letter about the weather and a treat. When it was pouring outside, a bellman kindly allowed me to use his umbrella so I could cross the street and grab some coffee. I don't remember his name, but I believe he was from Venezuela. The neighborhood is fantastic, with an array of local restaurants, cafes, and a kids' playground to enjoy.

Rooms were cleaned daily and water/chocolates provided in the evenings. Everything was clean and the rooms were very quiet. We were on the first floor directly across from the breakfast/brunch room - we like to sleep in late and we were never woken by noise in the morning. Location was excellent, right across from a nice little coffee shop and a market. Walking distance to the centre of town and easy access to transit. Could not recommend it more. I will definitely be back the next time I am im Madrid.

This hotel is warm and friendly and super clean and luxurious. I highly recommend it. Every interaction with staff was warm and helpful. The room we had was filled with everything we needed to unpack and enjoy our four nights in Madrid. Also perfect for our afternoon siesta. I will recommend it to everyone who asks how my trip was.

Hotel lindo om equipe simpática e atenciosa. O quarto é confortável, embora o chuveiro seja um pouco apertado. URSO is overrated and therefore poor value for money. Check-in was appalling - staff was rude, untrained and unhelpful. We weren’t even greeted. Asked for them to make a restaurant reservation for us and they did not even think to ask us for the restaurant name! The shower cubicle is very small for the size of the bathroom with a very awkward switch for the shower and overhead shower. The shower head was placed directly facing the door so any unsuspecting guest would have water sprayed all over themselves and the bathroom. There are much options in Madrid; certainly options that are much much better value for money. The only positive thing was the massage was good but even then the spa facilities are laughable for a hotel with spa in its name.

Beautiful lobby, excellent restaurant, great bar, and truly outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly, proactive, and professional throughout the stay. Breakfast was fresh and high quality, with both buffet and table service options. The massage treatment was very good, and cleanliness across the hotel was impeccable. Location is ideal: central yet calm at night. However, the biggest disappointment was the room. I stayed in a Deluxe Queen at nearly €500 per night and the quality did not match the price or the common areas. The design felt below average, the bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable, and the pillows caused neck pain. Bathroom fittings felt loose, shower sealing leaked water onto the floor, and overall the room experience was underwhelming for this category and rate. I stayed in much cheaper hotels with much better rooms. Pricing across the hotel is very high. €170 for a massage, cocktails close to €20, and €40 extra for spa access despite already paying premium room rates feels excessive. The spa is clean and pleasant but small and not exceptional. Overall, strong service and atmosphere, but room quality and pricing do not fully align with a luxury positioning.

Great location and really nice hotel — stylish and comfortable rooms. Only downside was a few surprise charges: they have a coffee machine in the room but charge for the pods (a first for me!), and spa access isn’t included (additional €35pp), even though that wasn’t mentioned on listing on Hotels.com (and trying to get hotels.com to rectify this has been a nightmare which is still ongoing). If you do want to stay here probably better to book direct if you plan to use the spa as they have rates with spa usage included.

The hotel is in a beautiful building and the interior is warm cozy and professionally decorated. It makes you feel like you are sitting in an upscale Manhattan apartment. The staff couldn’t be nicer, spoke excellent English and were very accommodating. The room was huge and very comfortable.

Property is new and looks sharp, amenities are good, the spa is gorgeous and well run. This facility does not honor VIP access from Expedia, they will claim they are full. The bar is empty, the restaurant is empty, the lobby have very occasional people that hangs out and at the spa, I met only 3 couples on different occasions on different times the entire time we were there. We were given a room for handicap and that was not pleasant and they were not transparent about it upon our check in. We mentioned our VIP access and again they refuse to honor it claiming they are full. Otherwise, its alright, it could have a great potential to give their patrons a memorable experience.

He not only assisted with our bags but also placed them in our room while we completed the check-in process. Liz at the bar was truly wonderful, providing some excellent recommendations. I looked forward to seeing her every time I visited for a cocktail. The receptionists were gems; they kindly gave my son a puzzle and some coloring pencils and a book. Housekeeping left a lasting impression; it was possibly the best service I've ever seen. Although I usually stay at Marriott properties due to my job, my family and I made an exception and truly loved our stay here. It was my second stay with URSO and if I am ever back in Madrid it will be where I stay again. There is something very special about the hotel from the decor (absolutely in love with the lobby/lounge area filled with fresh flowers & beautiful ceramics) to the staff service. The little touches they provide in the room, from turn down service to sweets on your last night. I will recommend all my friends & family to stay here if they are ever in Madrid. It truly was the best part of our vacation & they even accommodated our early check in since we came in on a red eye flight & had been traveling all night long. Love the live piano nights & having tea in the lounge. My massage in the spa was lovely. Would recommend just that they elevate the buffet breakfast options, other than that everything was perfect!

This hotel is warm and friendly and super clean and luxurious. I highly recommend it. Every interaction with staff was warm and helpful. The room we had was filled with everything we needed to unpack and enjoy our four nights in Madrid. Also perfect for our afternoon siesta. I will recommend it to everyone who asks how my trip was.

This is a great place, in a more residential area compared to downtown near Gran Via, but full of activities are in walking distance, nearby. The staff is fabulous, the feel is modern and private. We had a wonderful stay (2nd time) and would return! The only thing I would add is a yard or a rooftop terrace... :-)

Hotel Ursa was in a quiet and pretty neighborhood but still had the convenience of a big metro station nearby, good restaurants and interesting shops a short walk away (and in some cases across the street!) And, it was a beautiful luxurious hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful property with a very luxurious feel. Staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The piano in the lobby at night was a lovely bonus. Rooms were cleaned daily and water/chocolates provided in the evenings. Everything was clean and the rooms were very quiet. We were on the first floor directly across from the breakfast/brunch room - we like to sleep in late and we were never woken by noise in the morning. Location was excellent, right across from a nice little coffee shop and a market. Walking distance to the centre of town and easy access to transit. Could not recommend it more. I will definitely be back the next time I am im Madrid.

I looked forward to seeing her every time I visited for a cocktail. The receptionists were gems; they kindly gave my son a puzzle and some coloring pencils and a book. We requested a crib as soon as we arrived, and it was promptly delivered. Room service was fabulous and greatly enhanced our unpacking and settling-in experience. Housekeeping left a lasting impression; it was possibly the best service I've ever seen. Although I usually stay at Marriott properties due to my job, my family and I made an exception and truly loved our stay here. Despite some light construction noise in the morning, the overall experience was so delightful that we didn't mind the noise. Each night, we received a thoughtful letter about the weather and a treat. When it was pouring outside, a bellman kindly allowed me to use his umbrella so I could cross the street and grab some coffee. I don't remember his name, but I believe he was from Venezuela. The neighborhood is fantastic, with an array of local restaurants, cafes, and a kids' playground to enjoy.

It was my second stay with URSO and if I am ever back in Madrid it will be where I stay again. There is something very special about the hotel from the decor (absolutely in love with the lobby/lounge area filled with fresh flowers & beautiful ceramics) to the staff service. The little touches they provide in the room, from turn down service to sweets on your last night. I will recommend all my friends & family to stay here if they are ever in Madrid. It truly was the best part of our vacation & they even accommodated our early check in since we came in on a red eye flight & had been traveling all night long. Love the live piano nights & having tea in the lounge. My massage in the spa was lovely. Would recommend just that they elevate the buffet breakfast options, other than that everything was perfect!

Breakfast was fresh and high quality, with both buffet and table service options. The massage treatment was very good, and cleanliness across the hotel was impeccable. Location is ideal: central yet calm at night. However, the biggest disappointment was the room. I stayed in a Deluxe Queen at nearly €500 per night and the quality did not match the price or the common areas. The design felt below average, the bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable, and the pillows caused neck pain. Bathroom fittings felt loose, shower sealing leaked water onto the floor, and overall the room experience was underwhelming for this category and rate. I stayed in much cheaper hotels with much better rooms. Pricing across the hotel is very high. €170 for a massage, cocktails close to €20, and €40 extra for spa access despite already paying premium room rates feels excessive. This is an amazing hotel, and the staff does their best to give you the best experience. The room was really comfortable. I would return to this hotel. I enjoyed the piano time and breakfast. I only had a poor experience at the hotel restaurant over dinner, which did not match the expectations created by the high-quality hotel. I suggest looking outside for dinner.

Staff were all amazing and so welcoming and helpful. Uniformed front door staff took care of our car from the kerb. The hotel is compact, chic, with cool lobby bar and lovely restaurant, very close to Prado and other museums and shops.

The hotel felt like a Christmas fairy tale. Staff was wonderful, and the room large and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Location 10/10. Not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, but close to several local trendy neighborhoods and local shops. Will absolutely stay here again.
