DO NOT BOOK! Description and photos are false. There is no pool. The gardens are a flower bed with roses. No breakfast, no reception hall and only a couple of the many other amenities listed are onsite. Several dead flys on bathroom basin on arrival and the bathroom door in room 15 needed to be slammed shut and forced open. Not great noise wise. Reception was closed everytime we tried to contact them. Even at check out at 10am. Only positive was the location, quiet and the park across the road was great. Expedia were very helpful and apologetic, but still a dissapointed family here.

Stayed for one week. The grounds were maintained by the family. Very nice gardens and tree. Enjoyed lunch outside under a tree at the bbq table. Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was very easy with wide spaces for each vehicle. Eureka muesum and stockade were directly across the road. On the whole a great place to stay. Very convenient location close to the city centre and easy to get to anywhere from. We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed a night in Ballarat during the school holidays. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was neat and tidy, and had everything a family could need. Convenient location, heated pool across the road was a hit with the kids and the Indian restaurant up the road an easy and delicious dinner option.

The property was good for our one night stay, staff were great room was nice and clean however the shower floor was dirty really slimy like it hadn’t been cleaned properly so I couldn’t shower my children.

Overall my stay was satisfactory, one thing that I noticed was that the bathroom was a bit smelly which maybe was caused by the toilet leaking some water out of the bottom onto the floor. Also there were a few cockroaches in the room however there was fly spray provided.

The rooms were well sized and some beds had electric blankets. Although old amenities they were impeccably clean, had a fridge , kettle, tea/ coffee and even Netflix access. The staff were very friendly and were quick to provide an additional bed. Great value and convenience- thanks!

The motel was fine for one night while visiting Sovereign Hill, but it wasn’t great. The staff were friendly. The room was grimy and needed a deep clean. The facilities were fine, we had what we needed in the kitchen but it would have been a bit hard to cook a proper meal. The couches and beds weren’t that comfortable. The area around the motel was quiet but not much to do without driving, and the view outside our room was of an ugly equipment yard or something. I think there was a playground nearby but it was raining so we didn’t go there, but would be handy if it was nice weather. The breakfast was disappointing - I was keen to get the kids a motel breakfast where you tick what you want on a card, but they didn’t have that. They just had an overpriced breakfast box you could buy with cereal, juice and milk. Luckily we’d brought cereal with us just in case so we had that.

Nice tidy little room. Perfect for what we needed as we stayed for a basketball tournament - only thing to improve is the water for the shower was rather cold and didn’t heat up. Other than that happy with our stay - thanks!!

The main door into the room has gaps through which cold air was blowing continuously. This made the room very cold. The Aircon did not work properly, as the room was cold I had set the temperature to 28. Unfortunately, it was still cold. One of the thermal blankets was not working. If the above problems are rectified, then it would be an excellent accommodation and great value for money. Overall, it is budget friendly.

First time I have stayed in a property where staff have kept a spare room between guests (so quiet) when the property is not at capacity. An older motel, but money being spent lifting the standard. New air-con and TV. Beds very comfortable, good quality woolen blankets. Great range of spreads for toast (butter, jams vegemite). Will definitely stay here again.

Front office were so accommodating and let us check in early and we were able to check in at 1130 am instead of 2 pm. Thank you! Neat and tidy rooms with free Netflix! Great location, across the street from the amazing Swimming Centre. Will definitely stay there again!

This motel is a hidden gem! Spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a two night stay. Great location opposite a huge public pool, and a short drive to local attractions and shops/restaurants, No contact checkin, but the owners were always there if you needed anything. We will definitely stay here again, perfect for our family getaway

Nice quiet motel very close to where I needed to go. One thing I did miss there wasn’t a list where you could go for dinner that was close to the motel and no coffee mugs just cup and saucer
