Amazing rooms, wonderful pillows, very welcoming staff, breakfast was delicious with so many options. Very central to everything from the castle, to the bridge, and old town. 2 minute walk from having dinner in a 14th century "basement" at Na Pekle, a must do while here. Will be booking here again on our next trip, learned to book parking when you book the hotel. Also read the parking instructions on how to access it by car.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, was jedoch dem Erlebnis keinen Abbruch tut. This property is located in a historic building on the grounds of the Strahovsky monastery overlooking the city of Prague. We chose this hotel for it's peaceful location. I had forgotten to arrange for a transfer from the train station the day before, but Alice was able to accommodate us with a cab that met us at the main train station. Once we arrived, we realized that we had been given a room with a sleeping loft, up a steep flight of metal stairs. It was a very nice room, and thirty years ago we would have found it very romantic, but Alice could sense our doubts (or was it panic?) and quickly offered to transfer us to a different room for the remainder of our stay. The second room was on the lower floor, with bed and private bathroom all on the same level, thankfully. The breakfast buffet, which came included with the room, had a nice offering of different dishes. We even had the option of having our breakfast outdoors at one of the tables in the private courtyard.

호텔 출입구가 1층에 있고 리셉션이 한 층 내려가는 구조라 짐두고 나려가서 체크인 했어요. 객실은 3층이라 들고 올라 가는게 좀 버거웠지만 이미 엘리베이터 없는거 알고 있어서 괜찮았어요. 4인실 복층구조 였고 계단 살짝 가파릅니다 수도원으로 쓰였던 건물이라 그런지 옆방 문닫는 소리 빼고는 소음걱정 없었고 오히려 에어컨 소리가 거슬렸어요. 그리고 여기 조식 꼭 드세요. 평범해 보이지만 내용이 알차요. 간도 적당하고 맛 없는게 없었어요. 참 슬리퍼 옷장 안에 있어요.

Das Frühstück war ausreichend vielseitig. Der Parkplatz ist sehr eng, aber immerhin gibt es einen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schade dass es nicht in allen Zimmern eine Klimaanlage gibt.

We stayed here for over a week, visiting from the UK. We thought it was very clean, beds very comfortable. Only strange thing is reception only open 7-7. However it is a small hotel so I can see that having staff 24/7 could be wasteful. Nice views. Had a lovely stay.

Unglaublich freundliche Mitarbeiter. Frühstück hervorragend und für alle was dabei ob vegan oder vegetarisch. Tolle sehr bequeme Betten. Alles sauber. Die Lage kann eigentlich nicht getoppt werden. Blick über Prag und es ist sehr ruhig. Parkplatz geschützt in kleinem Innenhof. Perfekt um Prag zu erkunden und das Auto stehen zu lassen. Sollte ich wieder nach Prag fahren, würde ich sofort wieder hier übernachten.

가족여행이었는데 너무 깨끗했고 방도 복층이고 넓어서 너무 편안했습니다. 그리고 바로 옆 수도원 뒷뜰에서 프라하 전경을 다 볼 수 있어요. 프라하 성에서 내려다 본 전경보다 호텔 뒷 뜰 전경이 더 아름답습니다. 아침 조식은 식당 밖 정원에서 하늘을 보면서 먹었어요. 메뉴도 너무 깔끔하고 맛있었습니다. 모든 것이 너무 좋았습니다.

The property was stunning. The location was quiet and had a lovely view of the city. The Monastery brewery was a two minute walk and had delicious food and beer. The tram was a short walk and so was the castle and cathedral. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay.

The hotel is located right in the middle of many sites to be seen in Prague. It’s a small boutique hotel with beautiful views of the city. Staff was very friendly, and the room, even though on the smaller size, was very comfortable. Hotel is easy accessible by public transportation. You can walk to many city attractions. The breakfast was excellent.

Wonderful hotel in such a historical place that one can only dream of - the Strahov Monastery. 10 minute walk to Prague Castle- this is very useful at night, when it is amazingly beautiful and there are no tourists. 15 steps and there is amazing view of Prague. There is a tram stop nearby that goes to the old town (16 minutes). The hotel has a beautiful courtyard where you can relax. There is a restaurant there that serves a delicious breakfast. The hotel has wonderful employees. They are very hospitable and help with everything. We arrived a few hours ahead of schedule - our room was ready, we had to leave later and they allowed us to stay a little longer and helped us with our luggage. I recommend this hotel - it is comfortable, you feel cared for by the staff and you are in a wonderful location on a Prague hill.

We arrived a few hours ahead of schedule - our room was ready, we had to leave later and they allowed us to stay a little longer and helped us with our luggage. Was looking for a characterful place to stay in Prague and Hotel Monastery didn’t disappoint. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Prague proper, part of the Strahon Monastery complex, which is also home to a brewery, and up on the hill overlooking the city. But with easy access to public transport links into Prague - the number 22 tram is only three minutes walk - I really couldn’t fault the location. We were lucky to get what I’m guessing is the best room in the hotel, a two level room with a brilliant view out of the side windows. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is located right in the middle of many sites to be seen in Prague. It’s a small boutique hotel with beautiful views of the city. Staff was very friendly, and the room, even though on the smaller size, was very comfortable. Hotel is easy accessible by public transportation. You can walk to many city attractions. This property is located in a historic building on the grounds of the Strahovsky monastery overlooking the city of Prague. We chose this hotel for it's peaceful location. I had forgotten to arrange for a transfer from the train station the day before, but Alice was able to accommodate us with a cab that met us at the main train station. Once we arrived, we realized that we had been given a room with a sleeping loft, up a steep flight of metal stairs. It was a very nice room, and thirty years ago we would have found it very romantic, but Alice could sense our doubts (or was it panic?) and quickly offered to transfer us to a different room for the remainder of our stay. The second room was on the lower floor, with bed and private bathroom all on the same level, thankfully. The breakfast buffet, which came included with the room, had a nice offering of different dishes. We even had the option of having our breakfast outdoors at one of the tables in the private courtyard.

This hotel is at the top of hill, and right next to the brewery. You can enjoy the beer, and sunrise very easily. I really liked the stay here, but I was a bit disappointed when they charged me for 2 bottles of water. Water is not free, so please don't touch anything in the fridge.

Hotel Monastery is an excellent location for Prague. The nearby tram makes accessibility incredibly simple. The hotel itself is lovely and unusual. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place for both families and individuals.

Wonderful hotel in such a historical place that one can only dream of - the Strahov Monastery. 10 minute walk to Prague Castle- this is very useful at night, when it is amazingly beautiful and there are no tourists. 15 steps and there is amazing view of Prague. There is a tram stop nearby that goes to the old town (16 minutes). The hotel has a beautiful courtyard where you can relax. There is a restaurant there that serves a delicious breakfast. Unglaublich freundliche Mitarbeiter. Frühstück hervorragend und für alle was dabei ob vegan oder vegetarisch. Tolle sehr bequeme Betten. Alles sauber. Die Lage kann eigentlich nicht getoppt werden. Blick über Prag und es ist sehr ruhig. Parkplatz geschützt in kleinem Innenhof. Perfekt um Prag zu erkunden und das Auto stehen zu lassen. Sollte ich wieder nach Prag fahren, würde ich sofort wieder hier übernachten.

Beautiful and peaceful. Lots of character. Car park does require a small car but worked great for us with a hired Skoda Kadar. Breakfast was great. Only ossue we has was with the shower ... had to hold it up as was broken (room 21) however the views from that room are worth anything being broken! Would request the room again.

What a beautiful hotel ! It’s located next to the monastery and gives you an impressive view of the city. Very quiet and well maintained. Staff were great and helpful. Should absolutely recommend - this is one of the loveliest hotel I’ve stayed.

Fantastic small hotel in the grounds of Strahov monastery, an oasis of calm in the heart of the city. Hotel Monastery is a gem! Quiet, local, and authentic. The staff were wonderful, especially Gabriela at the front desk, who was so sweet and kind. Amazing breakfast every day. And a perfect location — away from the crowds of Old Town, but still central. The only (very minor) drawback was a small room (but it is Europe) and lots of stairs (which the hotel is very up front about). I’d stay again!

Very clean, only drawback for my husband and I was being in a loft with a full flight of stairs to the bathroom. Very dangerous for middle of the night bathroom runs. We are over 60. I wish we had known about the steps I would have asked for a one level room. Great location for walking around the tourist areas. Breakfast was delicious great variety. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well stocked.
