Rooms exactly as described on the Hotel website. Breakfast is outstanding. Indoor pool and gym are very good for a hotel. Staff are very professional and accommodating. We had a slight issue and Ramon helped us out immediately.

The room was comfortable but a bit dated. The blowdryer was one of the boxed units attached to the wall (circa 1970), but it worked fine. Lobby was really quite nice. I would have used the indoor pool sauna and jaccuzi but you are required to wear a bathing cap...which I dont have. You also have to rent pool towels to use at the indoor and outdoor pools

I loved the suite because it was large & very comfortable. The price was amazing however they charged for pool towels & the use of the safe! Walking distance to a grocery store. A bit far from the Old Town of Albufeira however we did walk it once. An Uber was 4 Euros. Close to a few good restaurants as well! 2pools also which was nice! Outside pool not heated. I do recommend this hotel!

The property is old, but in good condition. Doug and Jao assisted me all the time and answer my questions about place. Yeah, also i picked this place for the wash and dry. Iwas able to take care of mt laundry.

Vi hade en ganska stor vinklad lägenhet med stor balkong mot polen.Överlag bra utrustning men lite för hårda sängar och ganska slitet. Manque éponge et balai dans la kitchenette et chaises cassées à remplacer ou à consolider. La restauration n'est pas très variée et peu abondante surtout si vous y venez dans la dernière heure de service, peu de spécialités Portugaises même pas des pasteis de nata. A table l'eau est payante. Si vous voulez un café après manger il faut attendre que le serveur finisse sa tache pour vous servir, jamais personne au bar qui aurait d'ailleurs besoin d'une bonne aération. Bruyant la nuit grosse fréquention de fêtards Britanniques très peu discrets.

Our two-floor apartment was a total win – spacious, comfortable, and with not just one but two balconies. The view from the top floor was incredible, stretching across the town and right down to the sea. Perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink while soaking up the sunset. The layout was ideal for socializing too – plenty of space for when friends from the other rooms wanted to pop by for a drink and a game of cards before heading out for the evening. It was the perfect spot to unwind and catch up in style without feeling crammed in. The rooms themselves were well-appointed, with comfortable beds and blackout curtains that made it easy to catch up on some much-needed rest. The pool area was another highlight – plenty of loungers, a nice little bar serving cold drinks, and a laid-back vibe that made it easy to forget about the outside world. Location-wise, it’s close enough to the lively strip if you want a taste of the nightlife, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. We dipped into the buzz of the bars a couple of nights but were always happy to return to our spacious, comfy base with that stunning sea view. For what we paid, it felt like a steal – great facilities, loads of space, and a brilliant location. Would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a well-priced break.

We enjoyed our stay at the Luna Hotel da Oura. The rooms are very large. A few things need to be repaired in the room we had. The towel bar fell off and the bottom dishwasher rack needs to be replaced. Other than a couple of things, the hotel was very good. Easy walking to The Strip but a little farther to Old Town. Very nice hotel. The young man at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful.

Pros: - nice size room with basic amenities PLUS kitchen (fridge+mini freezer box in it, microwave, hotplate, accessories etc.) and own balcony. - working wifi. - working A/C. - grocery stores nearby. - walking distance. Cons: - because of the location, there are partygoers yelling in corridors at night/morning and someone sleeping there in the middle of the day. - 2 single beds instead of 1 queen. This should be something to be considered everytime someone checks in alone, especially when you are asked about it.

Hotel is in a good location and whilst it has all the amenities required to make it four star, you will be sorely disappointed by your room if you’re expecting four star comfort. The rooms haven’t been updated since the 80’s and are extremely depressing If they’d spent as much time on the accommodation floors as they have on the ground floor then it would be a half decent hotel Basically they’ve put lipstick on a pig !

We are a family of four (two adults, two teenagers) who are fairly well travelled. We were really looking forward to our stay at The Luna having travelled some of Portugal and Spain before arriving. Sadly, we were quite disappointed. Upon arrival at 3:55 pm we were told we couldn’t check in until 4:00 pm and then were told at 4 that our room wasn’t ready. The front desk were unkind, often telling to refer to the hotel paper they provided if we had questions. Things felt very controlled (don’t ask for towels to be replaced) and dated. Additionally, it was noisy with many young adults partying and no control over noise. Consider different accommodations if you’re a travelling family.

Pros: - nice size room with basic amenities PLUS kitchen (fridge+mini freezer box in it, microwave, hotplate, accessories etc.) and own balcony. - working wifi. - working A/C. - grocery stores nearby. - walking distance. Cons: - because of the location, there are partygoers yelling in corridors at night/morning and someone sleeping there in the middle of the day. - 2 single beds instead of 1 queen. This should be something to be considered everytime someone checks in alone, especially when you are asked about it.

ik vond het een erg mooi hotel maar de kamers zelf iets minder mooi. Midden in het centrum en 10 minuten lopen van de strip. Meestal stille omgeving en je kon nog tot laat na het uitgaan naar binnen.

La restauration n'est pas très variée et peu abondante surtout si vous y venez dans la dernière heure de service, peu de spécialités Portugaises même pas des pasteis de nata. A table l'eau est payante. Si vous voulez un café après manger il faut attendre que le serveur finisse sa tache pour vous servir, jamais personne au bar qui aurait d'ailleurs besoin d'une bonne aération. Bruyant la nuit grosse fréquention de fêtards Britanniques très peu discrets.

Vi hade en ganska stor vinklad lägenhet med stor balkong mot polen.Överlag bra utrustning men lite för hårda sängar och ganska slitet. Gott om solstolar vid polen men annars ganska tråkigt och nästan sterilt polområde. Ett plus var att de hade en stor inomhuspol med bastu och jacuzzi. Frukosten var OK men mycket lite variation. Stor fin lobby med både bar och biljardbord. Städning var OK men till oss kom dom nästan uteslutande efter 17.00 då vi ofta redan kommit tillbaka.

Schrecklich und nie wieder!! Das Hotel ist nicht familienfreundlich, sondern eher eine Herberge für Englische Sauftouristen. Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern (5 und 7) insgesamt eine Woche lang in diesem Partybunker. Der ganze Aufenthalt war davon geprägt, dass sich dort gewaltige Horden von Englischen Säufern aufgehalten haben. In der ersten Nacht machten diese mit 25 Mann eine Party direkt neben unserem Schlafzimmer. Bis in die frühen Morgenstunden wurde laut gesungen, gegröllt von Balkon zu Balkon geschrien. Es flogen unentweg Sachen von dem Balkon in den Pool (Bierflaschen, Schuhe etc) jeden Morgen schwam irgendwas im Pool. Eine Woche lang nur Besoffene. Tagsüber belagerte der Mob den Pool mit Bierflaschen. Auf unsere Beschwerde reagierte man schon betroffen, wir bekamen ein anderes Zimmer...mit hässlicher Sicht auf den Parkplatz. Man sagte uns, man sei diesem Leuten halt irgendwie ausgeliefert, man könne nicht soviel machen. Die Engländer sind halt so. Also, um es klarzustellen. Die Mitarbeiter dieses Hotels sind sehr nett und sehr bemüht. Allerdings ist es kein Familienhotel (wie es im Internet explizit angegeben ist). Nicht mit solchen Gästen. Für uns war dieses Hotel leider ein Reinfall. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt: Es wurde wenig Service geboten. Es gab unfassbar schlechten Kaffee zum Frühstück. Instantbrühe, und an der Bar war tagsüber auch nie jemand. Alles in allem für Familien nicht zu empfehlen.
