Channel View Hotel

They couldn't find out booking, then we was given a room , the room was dirty, used toilet on the floor of the bathroom, we didn't stay we gave the key straight back in and found a different place to stay ,

I will send a formal review with photos over the coming days but I urge everyone to avoid this property - I stay in hotels every week and this is by far the worst ever

We arrived on time for our check in, and were greeted by a very polite gentleman, it turned out he was from our own hometown, so a converstion soon took over, he carried my bag up and I carried my sisters. The rooms them selves were fine, my sisters was a double, so slightly larger than mine just being a single. there were a few little 'hotel' scrapes, obviously nothing can be kept brand new, but the important thing, it was clean. we didn't eat in the hotel, and was told that if it is busy, food, the bar, and entertainment is supplied, we were off season being the beginning of June. For the money, I can only say it was an absolute bargain, we went by train, so no need of the parking, but it appeared there was parking for at least 7 cars off road. I will definitely go there again should a break away calls. Grand Stay!

The staff were really lovely, easy check in and easy check out. But, the bathroom had toothpaste marks all over the sink, glass shelf and mirror. The temperature of the shower was either really hot or really cold, you couldn’t change it manually. The hair dryer in the room didn’t work at all. The big bathroom light didn’t work, only a small one above the mirror when you used the shower you could hardly see what you were doing.
