The parking was hard to find despite me reaching out to them. The name of the parking lot that they provided was not in any of my GPS apps (Apple maps, Google maps, Waze). The view from our room was amazing but the furniture is dated (antique perhaps?). Breakfast was great. There was a lot of stomping noise late at night while we were trying to sleep. Called the owner but they were not very helpful. They were nice and pleasant, offered a lot of information about the area, dining options etc…
The parking was hard to find despite me reaching out to them. The name of the parking lot that they provided was not in any of my GPS apps (Apple maps, Google maps, Waze). The view from our room was amazing but the furniture is dated (antique perhaps?). Breakfast was great. There was a lot of stomping noise late at night while we were trying to sleep. Called the owner but they were not very helpful. They were nice and pleasant, offered a lot of information about the area, dining options etc…

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo del Vic Re and I must say, it was an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. It’s the perfect combination of an exceptional property spirit of hospitality! The staff genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed in the tower room (Le Torre). Perfection! It was immaculate, spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for, even had a washing machine! The attention to detail in the room's decor and restoration and cleanliness was evident, and it made our stay all the more enjoyable. It felt like I was taken back in time and the views made for a photo worthy backdrop. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was nothing short of delightful, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious made to order options. We had the pleasure of a private tour from Christiano, the grandson of the former owner and an architect who thoughtfully restored the property. So many stories in this magnificent property. Don’t forget to see the wine bar and enjoy the private lake access with chaise lounge chairs and tables to enjoy your visit at Lake Como. Palazzo del Vice Re exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful nice property with a friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Nicely located on Lake Como, close to some phenomenal restaurants and a cute beachfront. Parking is a short walk from the hotel, so plan accordingly if you’re taking bags.

Spectacular views from a beautiful apartment overlooking Lake Como, with its own private beach. Staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Christiano has done an amazing job restoring his ancestral home to a very high level.

We had a wonderful stay in this unique property with our 11 & 13 year old daughters. Staying in the family apartment L'Onda was just brilliant with so much space and our own jacuzzi overlooking Lake Como. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Fint hotell men utanför kärnan. Således lite isolerat. Man måste få uppe på huvudgatan för att nå restauranger och affärer. Solterassen ligger 300 m från hotellet och bubbelbadet behöver definitivt hållas renare. Sol och bad möjligheterna har mer att önska. God frukost, trevlig service, fin byggnad och fina rum.

Lovely, charming, quiet. Our room was beautiful. We enjoyed a delicious dinner a short walk down the path that runs just below the Palazzo leading back up to the street to the nearby Hotel Ristorante Pizzeria Helvetia. We watched the sun set on Lake Como, sitting on the private beach owned by the Palazzo and reading until the light was too dim, then looking at the lovely lights around the lake. Breakfast in the courtyard with a custom omelet and variety of selections, all with wonderful service by the family.

Et helt fantastisk hotell med mye historie og sjel. Kun 6 rom, alle store og romslige. Vi hadde et rom /leilighet med utsikt til Comosjøen. Utrolig god service gjennom hele oppholdet. Veldig god frokost. Hotellet har tilgang til privat strand. Husk badesko! Hotellet ligger i et rolig område med noen få restauranter. Etter tre dager hadde vi ikke lyst til å dra fra dette fantastiske hotellet.

What a lovely place! The area is quiet and the view is stunning. There's a lovely river view walking path leading to a nice restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and they made us feel like home. The building has lots of history and the room is clean and cosy.

We stayed in the La Vista room at Palazzo del Vicerè and absolutely loved it. The view was just as amazing as the pictures and the location was walking distance to restaurants and a boat rental (which I would highly recommend). Arianna was very attentive and helped us out all throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay on Lake Como.

This was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Hotel manager Ariana is amazing and makes sure everyone is well-taken care of. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. It felt like a dream being there.

We recently spent a weekend at this incredible hotel and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Our entire stay was truly exceptional from start to finish. The Room and Hotel: The hotel room we were given was the largest I have ever seen, providing ample space and comfort. Beautiful old palace / villa. Great views of the lake and very nice walking paths. Great wine cellar but the Junior Suite is a must. Very high cealings and roomy. A bit out of the way but absolutely charming. Great staff.

A centuries old restored quaint palazzo right on the lake. Felt like royalty with huge roons high ceilings and beautiful furniture. Giant windows with stupendous lake views. Amazing breakfast included and restaurants nearby.

Outstanding property . Lovely small boutique inn. A bit unusual to get to, but worth the effort . Wonderful owners, amazing history and Ariana was above first class as a hostess . Made our trip . Room was beautiful (LaVista) and great walking path in front of hotel allowed us to run each mornings. Nice relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of nearby Bellagio. Loved it!

The Room and Hotel: The hotel room we were given was the largest I have ever seen, providing ample space and comfort. The Palazzo blew our expectations out of the water. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and really made our stay exceptional. Arianna went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I would stay here again and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Ferry service to Bellagio is tricky limited time options. Make sure to arrange private car or boat service to get to lenno varenna menaaggio. We had a wonderful stay. Ariana was very helpful!

We stayed seven nights in Pallazo del Vice Re. This place is just wonderful. Really nice and spacious rooms all decorated differently (we had chance to see few of them). Breakfast was delicious and the staff… what can I say. I give them 10/10. Hotel is only 10km from Bellagio if you want to visit there. It’s great base if you want to explore Lake Como’s other beautiful cities. There is exellent restaurants close to hotel. For example Aurora that serves great food and the view from terracce is amazing. Pallazo del Vice Re is also dog friendly and our labrador wants to send special thanks to caring staff. See you next year.

Solterassen ligger 300 m från hotellet och bubbelbadet behöver definitivt hållas renare. Sol och bad möjligheterna har mer att önska. God frukost, trevlig service, fin byggnad och fina rum.

Beautiful old palace / villa. Great views of the lake and very nice walking paths. Great wine cellar but the Junior Suite is a must. Very high cealings and roomy. A bit out of the way but absolutely charming. Great staff.

Et helt fantastisk hotell med mye historie og sjel. Kun 6 rom, alle store og romslige. Vi hadde et rom /leilighet med utsikt til Comosjøen. Utrolig god service gjennom hele oppholdet. Veldig god frokost. Hotellet har tilgang til privat strand. Husk badesko! Hotellet ligger i et rolig område med noen få restauranter. Etter tre dager hadde vi ikke lyst til å dra fra dette fantastiske hotellet.

Absolutely loved our stay, great property! Adrianna was wonderful, I highly recommend trying her scrambled eggs with Parmesan! We also very much enjoyed Lezzeno, good transport link and overall a little quieter than other villages around the lake which was exactly what was needed. There are a few lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo del Vic Re and I must say, it was an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. It’s the perfect combination of an exceptional property spirit of hospitality! The staff genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed in the tower room (Le Torre). Perfection! It was immaculate, spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for, even had a washing machine! The attention to detail in the room's decor and restoration and cleanliness was evident, and it made our stay all the more enjoyable. It felt like I was taken back in time and the views made for a photo worthy backdrop. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was nothing short of delightful, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious made to order options. We had the pleasure of a private tour from Christiano, the grandson of the former owner and an architect who thoughtfully restored the property. So many stories in this magnificent property. Don’t forget to see the wine bar and enjoy the private lake access with chaise lounge chairs and tables to enjoy your visit at Lake Como. Palazzo del Vice Re exceeded all our expectations. We look forward to our return to this exceptional property!

In the many hotels around the world I’ve resided, I can think of only one pair of words which barely encapsulates the unique attentiveness that this hotel gives its guests: conscientious hospitality. From the beginning, Ariana welcomed my wife and I to this freshly opened hotel as a relative would greet familial loved ones with open arms despite years of absence. The hotel is intimate in every sense of the word. There are only 6 rooms, of which ours was very spacious with beautiful windows and a panoramic view of Lake Como. Right up the street there is a bus stop to take you to Bellagio which has many shops and water taxis to other locations on the lake. Breakfast is served in a quaint dining room and outdoor garden patio with genuine homemade breakfast treats and omelette upon request. Ariana gave us directions, cleaned our room, conversed with us, and served us breakfast both mornings to again make it feel as though we were not just guests in a hotel, but guests in her home. I cannot emphasize enough what a gem Ariana is to this hotel and one of the best reasons to book this hotel over and over again.

Lovely, charming, quiet. Our room was beautiful. We enjoyed a delicious dinner a short walk down the path that runs just below the Palazzo leading back up to the street to the nearby Hotel Ristorante Pizzeria Helvetia. We watched the sun set on Lake Como, sitting on the private beach owned by the Palazzo and reading until the light was too dim, then looking at the lovely lights around the lake. Breakfast in the courtyard with a custom omelet and variety of selections, all with wonderful service by the family.

We had a great time here. We stayed in the Torre room which had an incredible view, was clean, and even better than the pictures in person.
