TV did not work / lounge dirty / Advised cleaning staff and reception about the Tv no response/ lift operations needs looking at stuck in basement levels for 20 minutes or more on four occasions lift would go to ground level then back up to R roof I guess at least 3 times before coming down to basement car park area.will not be back.

The lifts weren't working for the whole weekend. It took 15-20 mins to get into the only lift operating. This happened all weekend. A lot of the clients were there for the tour de Brisbane bike ride so we couldn't get our bikes in and out. I have stayed here before and it is usually an excellent place. I was told the non operating lift had been out of order for days. Very disappointing. The rooms however were excellent.

Close to train station for travel into the city or airport. View from room over local area with local shopping nearby. Visited roof seating area & ground floor swimming pool but did not use. Bathroom towels were changed regularly, not always necessary & meant having excess. Property could do with a thorough clean as there was dust on surfaces & I cleaned inside the fridge freezer. Not sure who decided to place the tumbler dryer so the machine door can’t be open unless the room door is open. Also during stay there was electrical lighting upgrading on floor going on during day with lots of noise. The in room WiFi stopped working last few days of stay. Neither of these did I get notification. Only found guest information pack - which was missing some pages - as I looked through draws. So I left it in a more prominent place on vacating.

The property is quite run down and needs a good clean. All Air Conditioners are filthy and the gym smells very musty when you turn them on. Pool was dirty. Rooms are ok however there were dirty dishes in the cupboard, marks all over ceilings and walls, and hallways stink of cigarettes. No instructions given on how to check out early, or where to park while checking out.

Broken glass on the carpet, Blown lightbulb over the sink, No aircon remote in the kitchen, empty ice tray in the fridge and no soap holder in the shower. The parking bay numbers are very difficult to read and there is NOWHERE to park to complete Checkin.

Code maintain a compact gym and cool pool. Great for a bit of a workout and quick swim to alleviate the Brisbane heat. Rooms are clean and comfortable and work very effectively for a week’s stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating - satisfying all requests promptly. We enjoy our stay there always.

We were incredibly disappointed with our stay at code apartments. Safe to say the apartment did not look anything like the pictures and we were grossly mislead. There were live and dead cockroaches throughout the apartment, stains on the bedding, pillows and sofa. The check in process was beyond bizarre, asking me to send a photo of the front and back of my bank card to confirm my identity…we have since escalated our complaint to code apartments but are yet to hear back off them. Avoid at all costs!

We were unable to access the apartments wifi for television use. The dryer was terribly loud, so we chose not to use it. The shower recesses had mould in them and room generally smelt of cigarette smoke. There were no extra blankets for comfort if we needed them. However, the kitchenette was clean and tidy and the hot water in the showers was great.

Studio was spacious and quiet and in a great location. The whole building and surrounds however were unkept and dirty. Room was filthy with dust on all flat services, cockroaches in kitchen cupboards, marks on walls and glass and carpets appeared to have not been vacuumed for some time. Would not recommend these appartments.

The property was was close to the venue we needed. We found the room reasonably clean, however no one cleaned the whole 5 days of our stay, regardless of the "make up room" sign we put at the front door each morning. We also had to buy insect spray to kill the cockraoaches in the kitchen which were many every day. Limited kitchen utensils or hardly any. Overall bad service. Wifi not available to the T.V. we believe it was over priced and under delivered..

The property was not clean at all, toilets were the worst. I had to do an initial clean upon entry to remove make up off light switches, doors and basins. I sent an email through to request the toilets be cleaned - no response. I spoke to reception and also received zero response. No even an apology. I will never stay at Code Apartments again, nor would I ever recommend anyone stay there.

Check in was easy and they were friendly. The Cleaning team on the other hand didn't really want to talk to us when we approached them to ask for extra 2 pillows and 2 blankets on or 2nd day.It seemed like an inconvenience to them. Our room was not very clean. We found food under coffee table and takeaway rubbish under couch cushions.Coffee not restocked only milk was. Location was great and quiet.

The apartment was well fitted out, clean and value for money. The two seater couch was very old and the springs were broken so two people could not comfortably sit on it. It was the only disappointment we experienced in our stay. We live in regional Queensland and had to come to Brisbane to visit the RBWH which is a 5 minute drive from the apartment. We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends, just replace the couch please.

Fairly good facilities, well managed. Great location, within walking distance to Exhibition Grounds, Gasworks shopping/dining and Bowen Hills railway station. The apartment itself is well appointed just lacks some touches of colour. Decor is boring black, white and grey..

Room was very basic and hasn’t been updated in a while. Bedding was very standard but comfortable enough. The bedroom’s only feature was a hole in the wall. The couch has seen better days, and light in kitchenette didn’t work. TV is about the size of an iPad but it worked.

Room felt very dark, especially since our blinds were broken so little light could get in. We appreciated the dishwasher and laundry detergent in the unit in addition to the A/C. The couch was totally worn and not comfortable.

The check-in process went smoothly, though it took a little while. From the answer of the couple working behind the front desk it was clear they knew hardly anything about the rooms. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues in the apartment. The entry door handle came off, the towel holder by the bathroom sink was partially broken, and the kitchen cupboard was damaged, preventing us from closing it. Additionally, the blind chain fixture was broken and detached from the wall in the main room. The air vent in the bedroom was extremely loud with no way to turn it off. To top it off, there was mould in the bathroom. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing. The best part was the location, walking to the showgrounds was 10min not like the 2min mentioned in the ad. Which is still fine. When we left the lady took the key and said that's all. Lowering her face back to her book? On the desk. So no friendy smile or best wishes.

Terrible experience. false advertising!!!! They say free parking but payment required when we asked them. Only gave one key for a couple Unfortunately we locked the key inside and the reception was closed when we returned. Called through and they hung up. Tried again and said100 call-out fee applies. The lady was on premises and gave us a key but they still charged 100. First she said fee applies after 8 then when I showed evidence that we called before 8, she said oh it’s 6pm. Ridiculous customer service. The customer service lady was so rude!!! If they had given us 2 keys, we wouldn’t have to pay for the so called call out fee when they are literally on site. They never told us about this during checking otherwise we would have asked for two keys. We were out and they came to our room to service without us knowing with our valuables inside.

Nice accommodation but check in procedure after 6pm needs refining. Standing outside after a long flight for half an hour trying to verify identity via phone photos and being unable to open key safe was not ideal. Then a grumpy woman came down to open it and said ‘see’! as she opened it easily.

1. From the check in process after staffed hours in the dark trying to send photos of ID and credit card 2. Earlier in the day asking to leave our suitcases somewhere safe and after checking in finding them sitting in the foyer for anyone to take at 9pm, hours later! 3. Very surprised at how inconvenient it was to all 3 staff sitting at the desk when I advised our dryer wasn’t working and I had washing to dry, this was a less than pleasant stay. I would not recommend staying here.

It was ok. Check in was fairly standard, then they asked for a $100 security deposit which the guy said was refundable. Still haven’t received it, and my stay was on last Saturday. First thing we noticed upon walking into the room was the pungent smell of some type of curry. Upon further investigation I found it was coming from the range hood. Left the sliding door open to try and help the stench get out, but to no avail. Cleanliness was average overall. Bed was rock hard. Where’s my deposit? Not up to Code at all. Never again.

I paid for room they refused to give me check-in details. After arriving from Tasmania. Three police cars did U Turns out the front. While on hold to get check in details. After the Police did U Turns out the front & left. The person on the other end of the line, Of After Hours Check In. Refused to give me Check- In details. I also offered my card details for incidentals & /or Passport for deposit. There seems to be major Corruption in this Hotel. Also haven't received my refund. There was.no mention of needing a deposit on the Hotel.com App. The Manager is extremely rude, refused to listen & abusive after I returned the next day. I'd love to review the inside of Hotel but never got past the front desk. I'm still waiting for a Refund.

I had a wonderful stay ! Clean , spacious, comfortable 1 bedroom unit with everything I needed for my stay ! Excellent communication from the staff , would let me to check in for free earlier and allocated an easy access to the car park ! Got my bond refunded the next day ! Unfortunately, this property underdelivered in both cleanliness and service. The checkin team were undertrained. General information was not offered and I had to ask many questions just to get an understanding of the property, how to enter after hours, parking etc. My room was very dirty. An old Dare Chocolate Milk bottle under the bed, stained coffee table that is ready to break, a bed and mattress not up to the standard of a three star stay, the shower rose had a filthy buildup of black calcium deposit and under the bed looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. I am a frequent traveller for business but I would never stay here again nor would I recommend.
