Disappointing stay. My friend and I booked a Saturday and Sunday night. We had requested twin beds, which was not the setup in the room on arrival. When I called reception they promised to send housekeeping to fix, but they never came. On Sunday our room was not made up or towels changed. When I enquired, I was told they don’t do housekeeping on Sundays! That would have be nice to know in advance. The rooftop area was very scruffy and there were overflowing rubbish bins including rubbish piled into a planter box. The basement carpark was dirty and had boxes of rubbish left by the lifts which stayed there the whole time we were there. No milk provided- not even UHT. The only positive was the bed was comfortable even if it wasn’t the configuration we had requested.

We only stayed overnight, but felt the studio room (for the price paid) was more than reasonable. The lady at both check in and check out was very friendly, and also provided us with a later check out. The roof top area was a nice addition, and there is a few cafes and a Woolworths close by. There is paid parking for $20 per night (unlimited entry and exit), but a bus line across the road if you dont have a car. The only negative was that the room had a few maintenance issues, and had quite a musky/mouldy smell (there was alot of mould in the air-conditioning unit). We didnt bring these up with reception as we were only staying overnight and didnt want the hassle of moving rooms.

It was a great place to stay as it was close to lots of amenities. However, we found the place very dusty, the bedside tables were covered in dust. I thought the cleaning during the week would clean that up, but even after house keeping, the dusts were still there and the floors in bathroom wasn’t vacuumed. It will be great if the place was cleaned thoroughly.

Dirty. Really grubby, long term build up. Awful single beds pushed together & not quite meeting. Shower was FILTHY, and water in bathroom smelled very strongly of sulphur. There's a pungent aroma of excrement/sewerage in the corridors & roof top area. Very noisy. It's a big NO, particularly for the elevated price.

The window wouldn’t close properly which let the traffic noise in very clearly, so I jammed a towel in the crack to help. Certainly good value, but a bit noisy. Walls are thin too.

The hotel was everything we needed it to be with one exception. The dual access rooms need more acoustic treatment so that you can't hear the people in the room beside you. Not keen on being woken up at 3am to the sounds of the neighbours bumping nasties.

The room was very clean and well presented however none of the ceiling lights were working - only the lamps which was awkward trying to shower. Whilst checking in, the staff told us the wrong room number, our card worked but it was for a completely different room and housekeeping walked in trying to clean so we double checked the room and it was the wrong one, we were unsure as to why the card worked for the wrong room. The next morning a member of staff opened the door whilst we were still in the room but apologised, we were only staying one night so we were unsure of why this happened, luckily we were dressed but that's fortunate timing. Besides these issues the staff were very friendly towards us through the lobby and at reception.

We had a 2 bed apartment which was very spacious and worked well for a family of 4. Great location to walk to the Gabba and also east to access other parts of Brisbane. We used the parking which at $20 was good value. Would stay again.

Very clean, nice room. Late check-in key safe didn’t work called night manager who was very abrupt and rude, wasn’t much better when we came down to reception in the morning same man , same attitude. Was a shame as husband uses quest all the time for business , very disappointing

Good communications when I emailed to request a carpark. When we checked in we were offered a late check out when we said our flight back to NZ was a late one. Had a 1 bed apartment which was fantastic accommodation. Really appreciated the goodies left for us too! That was unexpected in a hotel.

I was late getting to my accommodation (range of reasons) and Emily rang to check I was ok and still coming. She was on reception when I arrived - so lovely to have the actual reception team call rather than a call centre! Emily made sure I knew where everything was in the building and let me know where the key box was for my early departure. Cannot fault this experience!

Staff wanted me to pay for my booking again even though I had a receipt of my payment through Wotif. He told me that I needed to pay again and then make contact with Wotif to get the money back. The female receptionist told him to look at something else on the computer screen and then he said he would sort it. The room was loud with a big group of teenagers on the floor who were running around in the corridor. It felt like a school camp. Would not recommend.

Took 3 attempts to get into a room.. including being given a card to someone else’s room! And then apparently there is no housekeeping service on Sunday (same price for the room) so we returned from a long day out to find an unmade bed and dirty towels!! Great idea for Quest to save money.. perhaps they should discount the room?

We stayed at Quest because it was convenient to the Eye Hospital and had public transport and we really enjoyed our stay. Having a kitchenette was so handy and had everything we needed to make meals. Woolworths is a 5 minute walk & takeaway shops next door to the hotel. The area around was safe & quiet and very walkable.

Restaurants, cafes and shopping centres within walking distance. Great coffee from cafe downstairs. Lovely helpful staff. My room was facing main road which at times was busy and noisy. However it was bearable. Nice shower preasure and bed was comfortable.
