Warm welcome, very nice room and great price especially as it included breakfast, evening meal and breakfast were very good, and due to the great weather at the time, I was able to enjoy a few drinks on the terrace which overlooked the golf course and surrounding area.

The lodge is in a nice area. The room is a tidy average room with no bar fridge. Largely they seem to cater for functions and conferences. The breakfast is good value. It is attached to a golf club. I messaged to try to book a golf tee time both via the booking agent VRBO and email direct to pro-shop. I got no response to either but on arrival they told me a time had been booked. Perhaps they assumed a golf booking would email me automatically but that didn’t appear to work for international visitors.

Attended a party at the golf club. Prefect end to evening by not driving home, also had a relaxed breakfast with others who stayed overnight from the party wonderful end to weekend.

What a great place. The lodge accommodation was wonderful with large beautifully equipped rooms and very classy decor. Dining is in the clubhouse and the food was lovely. The clubhouse has a very friendly vibe and a good selection of well priced drinks. I’d return in an instant.

On arriving at The Lodge at Kingswood we were met with a pleasant receptionist who was as helpful as she could be. The rooms were clean and well supplied, the bathroom was great! We were disappointed that the kitchen closed at 7.45pm (we arrived at 7.52 😞) but the bar staff were also charming and helpful. The grounds are beautiful.

On first appearance of the building was nice . Found the receptionists not over friendly expected a warmer welcome . The soap dispensers half full as was the shower gel the makeup mirror was broken on one side. Had to ask where the breakfast area was . Found the staff in the breakfast area not over helpful or friendly so was a very disappointing stay . Would not use again or recommend. I suggest the staff need to go on a training course for social skills .

It was a lovely stay with stunning views from the club house. The breakfast was lovely and the room was very clean. My only complaint as someone whos very sensitive to dust is that some high dusting should be more regularly done. I highly recommend very comfortable

Great value for money and very spacious room. So large I think they could easily put a sofa in an describe as a suite. TV could be larger given the size of the room (and compared to competition) but this is a suggestion rather than a criticism.

It’s a swanky golf hotel, so it is all you would imagine. The room was very clean and well stocked. There was a fridge for me to store my own drinks that I had brought along with me. The shower was hot and powerful, with the rain option or traditional version of showering. There was no bath. Breakfast was included in the price I paid for and sadly I had little time so had toast and coffee which was served by a pleasant member of staff.

The Lodge is a lovely modern hotel in a beautiful location. It’s part of a golf club and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fantastic breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the golf course. Only small negative the Tv mounted on the wall was a little small for the room otherwise everything perfect!
