Our second stay at this lovely motel, supporting family competing in the Whangamata Challenge. Very roomy 2 bedroom unit, upstairs overlooking the pool, spa and tennis court. Great facilities. I'd like to say how friendly the staff were. Would definitely stay here again and have recommended to others.

My only fault with the motel was the swimming pool as it has no shallow end, so therefore I was unable to touch the bottom they did have noodles to help keep you afloat. But there was at least 4 of us having to use them. I thought if I brought my grandchildren to stay, I would struggle to hold or play with them as the pool is too deep. I'm 5ft3. So not really short. haha. Thanks

Awesome accommodation option very conveniently located with easy walk to the centre of Whangamata. Well kept grounds and well maintained buildings. Warm, cost and quiet. Lovely pool and tennis court. This motel is right in town which is fantastic. The 2 bedroom place was clean and spacious. We were downstairs and there was quite a bit of noise from the people upstairs, which was annoying.

Negatives would be the noise if you are in a ground floor we had people talking and walking around above us 1am and 2am. And noise from pub out front but appart feom thay enjoyed our stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The place is just on the end of the roadway with all the bars coffee shops and shops and only across the road to a beach access, all very handy. The place was also very clean with plenty of beds and extra blankets Will definitely stay again

Unfortunately the beds were not comfortable, no mattress topper so all the seams jutting through sheets. The shower was awful, a dribble, and only 2 of us had (short) hot showers. There was aircon in the lounge but not the bedrooms, and because the bathroom area is basically in the main area, and had no blinds, sleeping with the door open in order to not be stifling hot, meant sleeping in the light. There were no fans in the room. Overall pretty disappointed for the price.

I was in Whangamata for work. I took my elderly Mother with me. They accommodated an early check-in, at no extra cost. Dan and Grace (the Hosts) were fantastic! Friendly, helpful and did everything they could to look after and check on my Mother, while I was working. Awesome customer service, that was above and beyond the call of duty. 5 stars!!!

We decided at the last minute to add a detour to our trip and I'm so glad they had a room left; great facilities and on the main stretch where the restaurants, shops and beach are only a short walk. Owners are super friendly. Highly recommend.
