Nice set up for large group with separate bedrooms. Hard to figure out the layout with baggage lift but we did figure it out. Clean and comfortable for a night stay before an early morning flight.

Beds were comfortable. Floors outdoor stairwell smelly and dirty. Fan in bathroom has furry mould. Very basic clean. Lots of dust behind beds etc.

Easy spot for driving to/ from the airport but unfortunately the room was filthy. There was quite a large black mold spot on the sheets under the bed runner. You could see there were marks on the pillows through the thin cases.... turns out they were blood spots. Mold in the shower. Mildew smelling room. Not a nice experience.

Location was great for an early morning international flight. The area was quiet although aircon made a terrible white noise. When we arrived at the room at 2pm the room was not ready so we had to wait for the cleaners to finish. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook dinner, basic but fine. There was no dining table. The room really needed a deep clean. Skirting boards were dirty with heavy dust, areas of the floors needed a good clean. Watching the cleaners they went round everything and not under the beds, desk etc

Room was compact but clean, everything we needed for a short stopover before flying out. Handy to the airport and our rental vehicle return was practically next door. Will use again if needing accommodation near Brisbane airport.

No extra blankets for the beds and ac wasnt working and was very noisy. There was also a couple ofs step into the bedroom and bathroom and toilet, that kids kept on kicking there toes on there way in. But for a 2 bedroom apartment it was very reasonable priced for a family.

Staff are absolutely amazing, very helpful and friendly, walking distance to everything, great location, room was very clean, absolutely nothing was an issue, would happily stay there again Close to train station, shops, restaurants and every time we caught a Uber it was there within 3mins, very good location

It took me three attempts to get a key code for the property despite assurances that it had been sent. When I attended the property, the keycards did not open any doors to let me in. I tried to contact the hotel, only to be told the regular office hours. I had no recourse than to sleep on the side of the road.

Arrived at 11am for a one night stay before an early flight the next day. Greeted warmly by host and she made sure our room was made ready by 11.30am so we could settle in for the day. Nice basic room, comfortable bed. Everything clean and well maintained. Nice garden area to sit in. Will definitely use this property again.

I had to cancel my reservation as My brother had got admitted to hospital. I emailed the property as I thought may be able to re -book the room. Requesting partial refund or change dates. The just gave me a one liner no refund policy. Pretty rude and abrasive. Will never book again. I noted they charged my account the day I booked. Also pretty rude. I was wondering if I still received my stamp as I was charged full amount. Very disappointed. Kind regards,Honey

Ascot Inn is not at Ascot, 20 minute walk from the Ascot train station, but it is directly opposite Doomben station. Why not let interstate visitors know this or at least put it on your website. No food facilities on site, had to walk a long way to shopping centre to get a meal. Very impersonal, pick up and drop key from a box on the corner.

We loved our overnight stay at the Ascot Budget Inn - we’d previously stayed in a double room at a different location but this stay was at a different address around the corner. Very easy to check in after hours (after a late night flight) using their lock box and the room was very neat and clean. Breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus with the basics (weetbix, cornflakes, Nutri grain, fruit and yoghurt and toast with spreads). Staff were very friendly at check out and we’d definitely stay again in future as location is great (nice pub across the road too)

Sports club nearby offered excellent dinner with good value. Ascot’s breakfast selection could be better e.g. no real coffee only instant stuff. Parking v convenient. Close to airport and car rental locations.

The bloke that looked after us at check in was great. It’s budget accommodation located well for access to fly out of the airport. Bowls club across the road has great pub meals. You are on a main road so anticipate road noise. Overall good rating as no fuss budget accommodation.
