Dejligt og velholdt guesthouse. Stort og veludstyret køkken. Her er meget rent og rart at være. Nem indcheckning. Støj fra nærliggende vej. Manglede mulighed for at sidde ude, da vejret var solrigt og varmt. Vi nød at være her og kommer gerne igen.

Auberge très propre et moderne. Nous avons bien mangé dans le restaurant tenu par les mêmes propriétaires, juste en face de l'auberge. Cuisine équipée, tri des déchets et espace partagé agréable. Très satisfaites dans l'ensemble, nous avons juste rencontré un petit problème par rapport à la salle d'eau où se trouve également les toilettes. Nous étions très nombreux à utiliser la salle d'eau (une bonne dizaine) et il fallait malheureusement attendre que les personnes sortent de la douche pour aller aux toilettes. Rien de grave mais je précise tout de même :')

Big kitchen area. Bunk beds for us! There were some doubles. Nice mix of families couples and friends groups. The living area chaise was damaged and needs replaced, but the single chairs were fine.

Very interesting property! Would have loved to know more about it since it seemed like a sheep farm but I wasn’t sure if it’s still used. Interesting building in the back as well. Scenery is beautiful. Big common space with 3 bathrooms shared by the rooms!

Superb guesthouse. The outside does not look great but inside its comfortable, clean and sufficient bathrooms for guests. Key is collected from restaurant across road. Wifi worked well. The only thing i would have liked is a freezer as well as a fridge. Parking is just outside.

Property is set in a very scenic location. Room was big and spacious. Everything relatively new. Kitchen had huge dining table and well stocked cutlery. Two bathrooms shared across 7 rooms. Was quite clean. Morning hours after 8 am bathrooms got a bit busy. Overall very nice property

Guesthouse tres propre et bien entretenue. Au depart, je ne voulais pas partager de salle de bains, mais avec les 3 salles de bain pour 6 chambres, aucun souci et elles sont tres propres. Quelques petits bemols : le chauffage reglé a fond. Et manque un peu de produits de base a la cuisine : huile /vinaigre / poivre, mais l’avantage est que nous pouvpns emprunter aux voisins de chambre. Le propriétaire tient le restaurant en fave, et fait entièrement confiance. Il est disponible au besoin. A recommander pour ceux qui cherchent une guedthouse a petite taille, notamment pour une 1ere expérience comme nous.

We had a wonderful stay here. The beds were so comfortable and the room was very clean. We ate dinner at their restaurant across the road and had the best Icelandic cod. Bathrooms were clean and shower was nice. I would recommend this place to a friend.

South Iceland Guesthouse was a great stop for the price! Situated on a beautiful farm underneath the mountains, it was gorgeous scenery all around. Our room was very small but clean and beds were comfortable. The shared bathrooms were good sized and clean. The family restaurant across the street was delicious!

This was our first time staying at a Guesthouse and can say it was a positive experience. The place was clean and you have access to a communal kitchen. The rooms were quiet and the bed was comfy. They had blackout blinds but the 2" gap between them make them less effective. Everyone seemed to respect each others' space. We were hesitant about sharing bathrooms but it was no big deal. It would be nice to have an extra towel or two, and a place to hang them in the room. Also, you have to use individual hand drying towels in the shared bathroom which is fine but that stack ran out very quickly.

When we arrived we found a really old kind of house. But when we got inside it was sooo beautiful, modern and lovely. The sleeping rooms are very small but the kitchen an living area is WOW!

Unterkunft mit kleinen Zimmern und Gemeinschaftsbad und - Küche. Die Einrichtung ist ok, Küche voll ausgestattet. Wenn man Glück mit den anderen anwesenden Gästen hat, ist diese Unterkunft hervorragend. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig und wenn abends noch lange in der Küche gefeiert wird, ist das etwas störend. Lage hervorragend, direkt an der Ringstraße. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen.

The facility was nice. The other people staying didn’t clean up the bathroom and left water all over the floor. The owner requested no shoes past the front door so this was inconvenient. My daughter was “yelled” at my someone while she was trying to lock the front door at midnight as we got in late.

旅店很舒適乾淨，有3間廁所與淋浴，公共空間整潔，廚房應有盡有很齊全（有洗碗機冰箱餐具熱水壺烤箱微波爐），餐桌很大，是自助入住，房東會寫信跟你說鑰匙在哪怎麼退房，垃圾分類這些，停車場大，附近光害少沒什麼店家，天氣好走出旅館可以看到極光。因為附近沒什麼店家，大家記得沿路有超市時就先買好食材到旅店煮。離飯店不遠處有加油站。

This property is right on hwy 1. You do hear the cars driving by if you have a room that has a window in the front of the building facing the highway. The living room and dining area is so large. This space could have been smaller and allowed for private bathrooms. There were times I needed to use he WC and they were busy with guests. The only restaurant within 25 km is the one owned by the same property.

I was drawn to this by the beautiful setting and views around the guesthouse and it didn’t disappoint. The mountains are behind and a gorgeous sunrise. There are 7 rooms sharing 2 bathrooms. It was busy and quiet noisy as the place isn’t too big. The kitchen had everything that you needed in it. The room was quite small. Breakfast was served over the road, in the restaurant, and seemed expensive but was good quality.
