It was very modern and clean, comfortable bed. Great hotel to stay for one or two nights. Not fussed on a shower curtain and bath was too deep. Staff were friendly, and it was great to have a cafe at property for breakfast. Good location for restaurants, only a short walk to them.

We spent a night at The Kingsford prior to embarking on a cruise in October 2025. It was fantastic. The room is very small but exceptionally clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had a room on the 3rd Floor and could see the highway from our window but we didn't hear the traffic at all. There's a mini-bar and tea/coffee making facilities. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Huge shower and thick white towels. We went down to the small bar area on the right of Reception and found a beautiful area reminiscent of Bali - plants everywhere and one side open to fresh air but shielded from the sun. We had a coffee and snack while waiting to check out. BONUS : the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the Port of Brisbane where we embarked the ship. It's roughly 20 minutes drive so we were incredibly grateful to the hotel for providing us with that service. We will definitely stay at The Kingsford for future cruises from Brisbane (we fly up from Melbourne). Highly recommended.

Only stayed one night. Reception was excellent, car parks really tiny, would love to see a few sport channels?, pretty much a standard these days?. Value was good, easy walk to numerous eateries

Recently refurbished, pleasant fit out. Bed very comfortable, quiet, free parking (but need some more spaces), dining available nearby in Racecourse Rd. Staff excellent, very helpful. Only odd thing is the taps, which combine water pressure plus water temperature in one fitting, which probably wastes water. Am likely to stay again.

The was a nice hotel and very conveniently located only 15mins to Boondall Entertainment Centre. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The car park was very convenient. Tip: there is a Woolies metro just over the road and plenty of restaurants along Racecourse Rd just 5 mins walk away.

This hotel was NOT worth the price - better to spend a a few extra dollars on uber or take the AirTran into the city versus staying near the airport. Felt unsafe at night with loud cars racing outside the room. Room itself was uninspiring and poorly maintained.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Stayed here for an overnight layover and couldn’t sleep, as the “suite” windows face the road and there is little to no noise proofing. The shower spit cold water out, barely enough water pressure to wash your face.

Room was neat and tidy. Somewhat small but that's ok. The bed was very firm and the pillows were not great. Also, the shower head was horrendous and ensured that we didn't spend much time showering.

The hotel is 15 minutes by cab from the airport. Reception staff were lovely. Ordered dinner late in the evening and was brought to my room. The room was modern and very clean, it was a very good evening and I could relax after my flight was cancelled. Highly recommend the hotel.
