Staff, when someone was there was really great, but to book in was a different matter. It's difficult to use the mail when you are travelling in the Highlands and don't have a signal. Tried to phone as well but no one answered after 8 pm... We were lucky that other tourists helped us in...

If one wants to avoid contact with staff at checkin, this is your place!! Even if you want it, bad luck - hospitality isnt their thing. Checkout- 10am; checkin 4pm. Very few parking spots. Complimentary continental breakfast provided. Beautiful view from the hotel lawn

Room was a bit small but comfortable. The communal kitchen was great, plenty of glasses, plates etc. There's a continental breakfast provided which was quite good. It's an easy walk into town.

The Lodge was a great area to sit and relax. I wish we could have added to the fire but we didn't know you have to ask before 6pm for more wood. The room was clean and had what you needed. The location is excellent, you can walk right to the town to shop, eat, drink or walk along the canel.
