Loved it here. Room paintwork a little tired but not the end of the world. Need to put a towel down to block draught through door. Nice touch supplying fresh milk in a mini fridge. Teas,coffees tasty. I would definitely stay again. Book direct with them next time as it's cheaper

Such a welcoming and cosy pub. Our room was outstanding and had absolutely everything you needed and so spacious. So refreshing to even have phone chargers and usb ports each side of the bed. Really dog friendly, lots of treats etc provided. Staff fantastic and a wonderful breakfast service. I really could not fault our stay. South Harting is also such a gem with of course the pub, a lovely shop, new coffee/antiques shop and beautiful countryside. Petersfield is also a lovely marker town.

I stayed at the White Hart on a work trip and it was delightful. Quintessential English charm and all the comforts of home while I was away. The food was great and the coffee/lattes are even better. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room was neat and comfortable. I was sad to have to leave but had a lovely time!

Our stay was an excellent experience with good food. The only minor issue was that the shower tray sealant had some mildew which the manager said was about to be replaced.

A beautiful room, extremely clean and comfortable. The restaurant food was superb and I got one of the very best full English breakfasts I have had in a long time. Fresh, high quality and well cooked. Thanks also to the team there who were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall very nice set in picturesque grounds in a quiet village with pleasant rooms. My only criticism was the room floor felt a little unclean and could’ve done with a good hoovering. Otherwise all good. Food in pub was nice too.

Unlike a lot of pub rooms, this one had a decent size bathroom with an amazing shower. Room quaint & comfortable. Staff a friendly bunch, breakfast good especially liked being able to help myself to filter coffee.

Overall a very pretty location and the pub was very pleasant. However, my room backed onto the rear of the pub which had an extraction system from the kitchen running 24/7 so it was not possible to open the window due to the noise from this. Otherwise no issues. I suspect other rooms with more pleasant outlooks would be nicer so worth bearing this in mind when making a booking.
