Place is being renovated. The room was nice, but renovators are definitely taking the cheapest route. We had a double queen suite with a 3rd queen bed and a sofa sleeper. Beds were comfortable. The ac unit was very loud. Pool was closed for renovations also, this was very disappointing to my two younger girls who were looking forward to swimming. Breakfast was good. Overall it was an ok stay.

The manager was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We appreciated the accommodating food staff to refill the omelet tray quickly, so we could have breakfast on the go. It was a clean room and well-kept hotel. The location was convenient as it was right off the highway. The pool was not available, so that is a consideration. However, it was great overall, and I would stay there again.

The room was good sized and beds were comfy, but the pool wasn’t working, there wasn’t any ice in the whole building, and breakfast was empty just one hour after opening with little to bo refills for the hour and a half we were downstairs waiting. When we asked the front desk for ice (as the signs suggested we do) we were informed that they didn’t have any more ice at all. Overall it was a disappointing experience, considering we paid twice as much to stay there as we were going to pay to stay elsewhere. The only reasons we chose this hotel over cheaper options is because of the pool (which was not working and we had no advance notice of), and the breakfast (which wasn’t stocked and the pancake machine was broken). Add the lack of ice on top and I wish we would’ve stayed at a cheaper hotel.

The pool is closed the gym is closed and the key cards did not work. The keycards not working happened that day so nothing they could have done. The pool and gym and the fact the are remodeling should have been posted on the website. I would have book another hotel if we had know in advance. The room rate is not discounted based on the information above. Every time we left the room someone from the front desk has to walk us up to the room. When you enter the hotel the front desk person was outside the majority of the time and you had to wait for someone to come to the front desk.

Took Grandkids for nite away....3.5 hr drive to do 4 things specifically....stay in hotel, swim, see Santa and Xmas lights....well indoor pool was closed and completely drained... couldn't get two rooms together...Rocked Clifton Mills for Xmas lights and 3rd fail was no Santa

The lobby was nice and clean but the room was a different story. The bed sheets was about the only clean thing in our room. The coffee table had something white on it. The dresser looked like it wasn't wipe off at all. We found someones use chew pouch on the floor it was gross. I was very disappointed. I never would have thought a IHG Hotel would look this.

Spent 4 nights in room 201. Walked into the room to find a huge wad of black hair (about 4”x2”) on the floor in between the beds. The coffee maker water reservoir was nasty. I have photos but won’t subject people to that grossness. There was a small brown spot on the ceiling over one of the beds. Manager sent housekeeping up the next day and “deep cleaned”… but water spots from washing hands were still all over the floor as well as dirt in the carpet. Left late morning on day 3 and came back late that night to no housekeeping service at all. Had to go fetch more towels and coffee pods ourselves. Very very dirty property. Will never stay again.

The hotel was newly renovated. The staff wasn’t the best. We were there for 4 days. They didn’t offer or come do any kind of clean up while we were there. Not even to empty the trash receptacles. After I left they charged me $150 for a cleaning fee citing there was trash everywhere. There were water bottles around the trash cans and on top of the entertainment center. Well if they had emptied the trash cans once, there wouldn’t have been any on the floor or on the entertainment center. I’ll never stay at that Holiday Inn again. If they are doing that to make extra money, I can only imagine what else they are doing.

Location near highway was convenient. Insufficient signage on access road to mark turn in; we had to circle back to find the way in. Room was clean and well appointed. Receptionist was pleasant enough but placed us very near elevators without asking if we would prefer a quieter location. The beds are ridiculously high; we had great difficulty just getting up onto the beds. Serving breakfast at 7:00 AM is too late for business travelers; we need to eat at 6:00 or 6:30 at the latest to get to our day on time.

I’ve stayed at a few different hotels in this vicinity, and this is the best one I’ve stayed at. It is ageing in a few areas, but the room was clean and in good condition. The breakfast was good, the bed comfortable, and the people kind.

The room I registered for had 2 queen beds and an area for a couch. It was a handicapped accessible room with a roll-in shower and a fold down seat. The room we were given for a 2 night stay was only 2 queen beds. It did have grab bars by the toilet, however, the tub was not handicapped accessible. The toilet was low to the ground which made it very difficult to sit down on and to get up from even when using the grab bars. My daughter told me that the tub was very slippery and I should not attempt to get into it. As far as the comfort of the beds, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The bed felt very old and caused me to have terrible hip pain for which I had a difficult time getting up from the bed. All in all, I was very disappointed with this room.

Rooms need updated. Our room was damp and musty. There was slime hanging from the sink faucet in the kitchenette. Paper then walls. You can hear every noise. The air conditioner in the room was so noisy that it scared us every time it turned on. None of us slept well.

The hotel was nice in its self, no complaints. What really made this stay above and beyomd was the staff. I mean, they were excellent. I stayed on the property 4/18-4/19. It is just such a breath of fresh air to see staff that just are kind people whinseem to like what they do. Holiday Inn express, whoever did the hiring at the Yellow Spring OH location, you have done a good job. Good service speaks volumes to me.

This property allegedly agreed to my confirmed stay on Expedia, I arrived and had no reservation on file in the middle of the night. The people at the front desk made minimal attempt to help fix the problem, deferring me to Expedia, who did nothing to fix or own the problem despite their blunders. Bottom line, I had no room despite booking months in advance, stressing me out over 600 miles from home. The area was sold out and I wound up at a Motel 6. Unfathomable horrible customer service for both Holoday Inn annd Expedie and unreliability. I would not recommend anyone stay here or be assured Expedia will have your room despite you confirming and paying them, you will be stressed and overwhelmed by the poor customer service. Vote with your money and go elsewhere.

The hotel was fairly clean. The women at check in was very rude complaining that she just got there and her boss hadn't done anything so she wasn't ready to check us in. At check out there was two employees too busy talking to pay attention to me. The pool was freezing as well. I booked this hotel because of the pool and we were able to swim for more than 5 minutes because it was so cold.... overall not a good stay.

I liked everything except the pool. The room was too small and not well-ventilated, and I received a headache from the strong chemicals in the poorly ventilated, small pool room. Also, the hotel employees did not follow the pool rules as there were more than 20 unsupervised children jumping in and around the pool area for up to 3 hours straight. Many guests (me included were not able to enjoy the pool) and had to leave due to the chaotic situation. When the front desk (night shift) was notified, they seemed irritated with me and did little to nothing about the situation.

Was a clean comfortable nights sleep. Small maintenance issues, in the room peeling tiles, dripping leaky bathroom faucet. No USB ports anywhere. Ehh. Not a big deal i didn't bring a block to plug in. But theres two gas stations right nearby. Good breakfast that alone is worth it. 👍 overall not big issues for ME but there might be others that this just wont work for them.

The room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices. My only criticism is that the tub/shower in my room had no grab bars. My friends said they did have grab bars in their shower. I feel they should be in all of the step in style tub/showers for safety.
