This is an older motel-type property but our room is very clean and very quiet. We parked right outside our room. The digital door entry is easy to use and feels safe. Our TV was down when we arrived but a staff person came over right away and fixed the problem. The property is just outside downtown Walla Walla so convenient to restaurants, stores, etc.

We came to see my daughter at Whitman and had such a a wonderful stay! Our suite was quite spacious and comfortable, it's in own unique way. Will definitely stay here again.

1. The rooms are very small, miniature even, including the shower. Very far from downtown. Far too far for a walk. Limit your wine tasting because you will be driving. If your phone does not have email you can not get the secret code for your room, but you can get a normal key from the front desk. Make sure you arrive on time. Nice place to sit outside, and you will need it unless you are under 125 pounds and five foot five. Clean but older furniture. Not up to even motel 8 standards and priced higher. I would not stay here again.

Small room. Would not recommend for larger people. Tight around bed. Small tv. No drawers, limited closet space. Perfect for light travelers/ backpackers. Bed was ok. Flat pillows. Shower ok pressure, not adjustable. Limited sink space only.

I tend to like properties that are all one level and the opportunity to park right in front of your door (I am an over packer, haha). The AC was excellent. I would have liked a Kuerig, but, I will bring my own next time. Love the bed & bedding! I will be back!!

The check in process was very easy, our room was small but very clean (we reserved 1 queen bed). No traffic noise, no noise from rooms on either side, AC wasn’t overly loud. We didn’t get to enjoy the gardens beyond driving past but they were beautiful.

We LOVED our stay at the Walla Walla Garden Motel. We were greeted warmly by the owner and their young family member. The check in process was easy and friendly. The room was very clean and had very nice amenities in it. It was also incredibly quiet for a motel. The owner told me the next morning that they had paid to have all the rooms better insulated. There wasn't that tinny sound you normally hear in motels. We never heard the other guests, though the place was full up. I would HIGHLY recommend this quaint little motel. It's just two miles from downtown and way more affordable than the local big chains. Five stars all around.

Very clean and spacious room. Old school privately owned motel. Perfect place for a restful night if you’re passing through and continuing down the road. Best price we found on Expedia for our needs. Couple miles from the downtown core.

I was surprised at the size of the motel, but once I saw my room, I was satisfied with how fresh and clean the room was. Unfortunately, I was there for one night as I enjoyed being in Walla Walla and exploring the town and its eateries. I rested well and had a fresh start in the early morning. The motel rates are more than reasonable, and I'll stay at the Garden more often. Being that it is located in the city, the motel is surrounded by many great restaurants in a two mile radius. Enjoy!

The staff are so great and the beds are comfy... What more could you ask for? This is my second time here, and my preferred hotel. While it's not downtown, it's only about five minutes away by car and boasts a cute garden area to sit and watch the sunset.

This is a great little motel; a "hidden gem" as they say. It's older (1948?) but it has been remodeled inside. The bathroom / shower / tub was the nicest I've experienced in a long time. I also liked that I can park right in front of the door for easy loading and unloading. Service was super-friendly and good. This motel lacks some of the features of the chain hotels (breakfast, a pool, a brand name, high prices) but has everything I need for a pleasant stay. Five stars.

This hotel has been kept from the'40's? Or '50's? While it's def vintage, they've done so well at keeping it updated and comfortable. One note: ask for coffee pot if you need one before you check in. It'll save us coffee drinkers a stressful morning!!!!!!
